Chou a la creme - The pastry has a crispy texture with a strong bitter taste, and the cream inside is not too sweet but lacks richness. After the cocoa flavor, a slight bitterness follows, giving it an adult taste. 2. Madagascar - The most popular item in the shop! The chocolate sauce is rich and incredibly delicious! The mousse is smooth, and the berry jelly in the middle adds a nice sweet and sour touch that is irresistible! 3. L'or Noir Chocola - A chocolate-coated chocolate roll cake! This is truly amazing! I was looking for a place to have dessert in Gotanda, and I found one. The store wasn't crowded, but it was popular with people of all ages coming in constantly. I wanted to have cake, but it wasn't suitable for takeout, so I opted for the gelato I was looking for. The flavors were mostly chocolate-based, like praline, pistachio, vanilla, rum, etc. They all looked really tempting. I chose vanilla, chocolate, and a rich chocolate-only flavor. I was planning to eat while walking, but there was a bench in front of the store so I sat down and enjoyed my gelato. I thought chocolate might be too heavy for a hot day, but when I tried it, I was surprised by the rich chocolate flavor, the right amount of sweetness, and the smooth texture. It was really delicious even in the summer. The vanilla was quite sweet with lots of toppings, which was interesting. It's even better when eaten together with the chocolate! I would love to visit again if it's nearby... Thank you for the meal!

I visited the store 30 minutes before closing. It was a good day for sales, as most of the cakes were sold out. I had my favorite pistachio cake, a chocolate cake, and tried a cream puff for the first time. I imagined the cream puff would have a rich chocolate filling inside the crispy shell. The filling was actually a cream mixed with cocoa, giving a nice cocoa flavor. It paired well with the crispy shell. It was a delightful experience. I will definitely buy it again next time, along with the cocoa ice cream. It's available until October. Thank you very much. It was a delicious meal.

I had been curious about a sweets shop specializing in cocoa for a long time. One day at Gotanda Station, I decided to go check it out. I was hoping to be knocked out by a strong and bitter chocolate flavor. I tried the Nativo and Loro Chocola. Both were quite sweet! I was surprised by the gap between my expectations of a bitter cocoa-scented adult dessert and the overly sweet reality. These are chocolate cakes that even children can enjoy without worry. It really makes a difference what you expect, as my evaluation changed significantly. I chose the Nativo because it uses orange liqueur, but I didn't really taste the bitter-sweet orange liqueur flavor, just a hint of orange essence. And it was just too sweet, lacking the cocoa flavor I was hoping for. The Loro Chocola was also very sweet, reminding me of the overly sweet chocolate cakes I used to get from the local bakery as a child. I couldn't really taste the cocoa flavor in either of them. They were so sweet that I thought about soaking them in rum or brandy. Unfortunately, the desserts I chose that day left me with the impression of just having eaten something extremely sweet. My expectation of being knocked out by cocoa was not met. This restaurant has received high ratings, so I must be in the minority. However, as a reference for those in the same minority group and as a personal note, I have written my honest thoughts. I recommend it to those who enjoy very sweet chocolate cakes!

I went to buy Shoe Alacreme as a souvenir for my friend. They loved it when I brought it as a gift before, so this time they specifically requested it. Sweets TOKYO, a popular dessert shop. Visited on a Friday around 13:45, but the shop was on a break from 13:00 to 14:15. Waited around and revisited at 14:15. There were already a few customers waiting for the shop to reopen, and more people entered as soon as it did. There didn't seem to be a limit on the number of customers allowed in. Chose a few cakes that looked delicious: - Gâteau au Chocolat 620 yen - Madagascar 720 yen - Saint Michel 690 yen - Lulou Chocolat 760 yen Total: 2,790 yen Shared them with my family at home: - Gâteau au Chocolat: A rich chocolate cake made by crushing cocoa beans and baking the mixture. Simple appearance but rich chocolate flavor, made even more moist by the whipped cream on top. - Madagascar: A 72% chocolate mousse from Madagascar with a red fruit jelly. The rich mousse and the acidity of the red fruit jelly complement each other perfectly, melting in your mouth instantly. - Saint Michel: A chocolate buttercream sandwiched between cocoa and hazelnut dough. Simple appearance but the chocolate dough is moist, and the chocolate cream on top is delicious. - Lulou Chocolat: A cake made with cocoa dough and bitter chocolate ganache. Looked delicious and tasted amazing with the combination of the dough, cream, and chocolate on the outside. All the chocolate cakes were delicious. Thank you for the feast.

The cookies were amazing. I tried chocolate cookies and sablé, among other baked goods. The chocolate was rich but the aftertaste was refreshing, with delicate flavors. If you received this as a gift, you would think the person has great taste. I want to try the gelato next time. I will definitely come back.

I visited the main store of "Le Cacao", a top sweets shop, located an 8-minute walk from Gotanda Station. I arrived around 3 PM on a Saturday and there was no wait. I was able to pay smoothly. I ordered a double scoop of Gelato Peru (bitter chocolate made from Peruvian cacao) and Pistachio (from Italy) for 990 yen. It was served promptly, so I enjoyed it on the bench outside the shop. The pistachio had a nice texture and great flavor! It was delicious. The cacao was rich and aromatic, with both flavors standing out. Even when mixed, it was still delicious! I quickly finished it all and enjoyed every bite.

This is my fourth visit to this favorite store, in addition to the Toranomon store, in the past two months. Today, I decided to skip the financiers and bought a pack of 10 sablés. As far as I know, this shop has been expensive and small for a long time. In return, the quality is high. The chocolate flavors are really rich and you can enjoy the bitterness of adult taste. It's so delicious that even I, who doesn't like chocolate, can understand why people love it. When you bring it as a gift, the recipient will be delighted. There was a couple eating ice cream on the bench outside the shop, and there were two groups inside the shop. Since it was a late hour, there were only two types of cakes left in the showcase. I quickly decided on the rich bitter chocolate cake as the other one I wanted was bought by the previous customer. So, I ended up buying ice cream and the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was at room temperature, so it seemed like it could withstand the journey home. - Ice Cream (Peru) There were 6 types of ice cream in the display case, and since chocolate was the main theme of the shop, I chose one that would give me a full chocolate experience. "Peru: Bitter chocolate ice cream made from Peruvian cocoa." I found an empty bench in front of the shop (big enough for two people to sit) and decided to enjoy the ice cream there. It was extremely rich in chocolate flavor, as the name suggests, with a slightly bitter taste. Even at this time, the weather outside was hot, so the cold ice cream was a refreshing treat. - Gâteau au Chocolat de Nancy I decided to take this cake home with me. It was packed in a paper bag, which caused some damage to the surface of the cake, making it slightly crumbled. The expiration date on the sticker attached to the paper bag was the next day. Entering the luxurious interior of the store instantly lifts your mood. Everything looked so delicious that I spent a lot of time deciding what to order. In the end, I chose a dessert that wasn't too chocolatey, a Mont Blanc, and a Pistachio Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc had a chocolate mousse inside and was absolutely delicious. I was amazed by how well chocolate and Mont Blanc go together. The Pistachio dessert had a sophisticated flavor. Pistachio and chocolate make a classic combination that everyone would enjoy.
