I ordered a 6000 yen course meal. The service was good and the dishes were served quickly! I personally liked the seared mackerel sashimi. The squid sashimi was delicious, especially the tempura of the tentacles afterwards! The dessert was also amazing! The restaurant was lively with many customers, but they have private rooms so it wasn't too bothersome. I would love to go back again!

I used it for the first time at a company social gathering. It was a course with all-you-can-drink for 5,000 yen. The dishes were all decently delicious. Each person received a small live squid. They also made tempura out of the entrails and tentacles, which felt like a good deal. However, the quality of the drinks in the all-you-can-drink menu was average or slightly below. The pricing felt like that of a Hakata Tenjin establishment. The restaurant was packed with party guests, despite it being in the middle of the week. It seems to be a popular place. I might consider revisiting if it were closer to my home.

Today, I revisited this restaurant for a drinking party with customers! It's been 3 and a half years since my last visit... Time flies by so quickly... Since I didn't take any photos last time, I'm seeking revenge this time... haha. The restaurant has private rooms, making it perfect for entertaining, with around 150 seats. The menu includes a variety of Kyushu specialties, and it operates on a mobile order system! This time, we ordered the following items: - Appetizer: Tai Shabu (sea bream hot pot) - Daikon and Shiso Plum Salad - Live Spear Squid Sashimi followed by tempura - Live Kawahagi (filefish) Sashimi followed by miso soup - Homemade Satsuma Age (fried fish cake) from Kagoshima - Grilled Hakata Red Chicken - All-you-can-drink individual items for 120 minutes Having the option for individual items in the all-you-can-drink menu is the best for sake drinkers! Surprisingly, the appetizer was sea bream shabu-shabu, served in a pot! It's rare to have a hot pot as an appetizer... The ingredients included 2 slices of sea bream sashimi, enoki mushrooms, mizuna greens, and green onions. Shabu-shabu the sea bream to soak up the delicious broth, and the taste is amazing... Next, we indulged in luxurious live Spear Squid and Kawahagi sashimi! The Spear Squid was drizzled with lemon juice just before serving, making the tentacles dance... It's a technique possible only with fresh ingredients, adding to the excitement... The chewy texture and moistness of the squid are delicious! For the finish, we had tempura, and we chose the tempura option over grilling. It's one of the charms of squid sashimi that you can enjoy every last bit! The thinly sliced Kawahagi sashimi was refreshing, served with ponzu sauce and grated daikon radish. The refreshing aftertaste makes it so easy to keep eating... We ended with miso soup, which was comforting with its rich broth! We enjoyed two hours of sake and food to the fullest! This restaurant might be perfect for entertaining out-of-town guests. Thank you for the meal!

I came because I wanted to eat fresh raw squid! I was a bit nervous because the price varies by gram... I ordered and a splendid squid arrived, still moving its legs. I put some lemon on it and it was even more delicious. Fukuoka's soy sauce is sweet and I'm not a fan, so I ate it with just salt, but it was delicious. Sake went well with it. The squid was about 5000 yen, quite expensive but worth it. I don't get to do this often while traveling, so I really wanted to try it. I am satisfied, satisfied!

The seafood and tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) on the izakaya menu were delicious! The squid was still moving, which was interesting! The otoshi (appetizer) was shabu-shabu style and enjoyable! However, it was a bit pricey... although it was really tasty, the cost performance isn't that great. Other izakayas might have similar dishes for a lower price.

Tenjin no Domannaka is a restaurant with a great location in the heart of the city. I visited for a company gathering and it was bustling with similar groups. It was nice to have a smoking room for up to 4 people. However, I was a bit overwhelmed by how quickly the dishes were being brought out even before our drinks arrived. We had a 5,000 yen all-you-can-drink course, but the dishes didn't leave a strong impression.

All the seafood dishes were delicious! The presentation was also beautiful and I would recommend this restaurant to those traveling. The drinks were brought to us quickly after ordering and the service was great, which left a good impression. I would love to visit this restaurant again when I go to Fukuoka for fun.

We had the all-you-can-drink course for 4500 yen, including sashimi, salad, amberjack shabu-shabu, live squid sashimi & tempura, simmered dish, simmered daikon radish, rice cooked in a pot, anglerfish tartare, and dessert ice cream. Enjoyed with colleagues. The live squid sashimi and tempura were definitely the best. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I decided to go to a lunch show by Junretsu with my heavy drinking buddy. We stayed overnight on January 8th and the next day we watched the show at Hotel New Otani Hakata. We had to drink good sake in Fukuoka. After researching various places, we settled on this place based on different criteria such as the availability of courses for two people and a 2.5-hour all-you-can-drink option. The course, including all-you-can-drink, was only 8000 yen, which was quite reasonable. We arrived separately in Fukuoka, and my buddy scouted out the place beforehand to confirm the location. It was a bit hard to find as the entrance was tucked away, even the Pronto on the 1st floor was not easy to spot. We arrived a bit early, but there were already customers seated, so we had to wait for a while. The restaurant seemed very popular as it was full of customers. We were seated at the counter. We started with a light dish of shabu-shabu with fresh buri and Itoshima vegetables in a flavorful white broth. It was a great way to start. The first drink we had was beer. The sashimi platter with five types of fresh fish was beautifully presented, and we enjoyed it with sweet soy sauce from Kyushu. Unfortunately, the live squid we were looking forward to was not available, so we had a substitute of flounder, which was delicious with ponzu sauce. The live mackerel was as planned and the miso dressing was the best part. Have you noticed that red core radish is popular in Kyushu? It was used in many dishes. The black pork steak, part of the grilled dish, was my favorite. The sweet and salty flavor of the pork cooked with flour reminded me of a pork cutlet bowl. We were impressed. The monkfish and clam steamed in sake was a favorite of my buddy. The broth was particularly flavorful. We decided to order a bottle of barley shochu at this point to avoid waiting for drinks. We both prefer it on the rocks. The tempura dish was supposed to be squid, but since it was not available, we had chicken tempura, which was juicy and delicious. We enjoyed it with salt. The ankimo with ponzu sauce was a great snack to enjoy with our shochu on the rocks. The sushi platter with three types of selected fresh fish was delicious, but I can't remember the exact details. The fisherman's soup with plenty of ingredients was a hearty miso soup. We had a dessert, but we were already full, so we only had a little bit. Since they had a "drink until empty" policy for the bottle, we took it home. We bought some ice on the way back and enjoyed drinking in our hotel room while watching a show featuring Junretsu called "Passion Continent."

I used it for a year-end party. It was a course with all-you-can-drink for 4500 yen. It was said that it might be difficult to provide live squid sashimi the day before, but they were able to provide it successfully. However, it might have been a different type of squid than expected. Still, the squid was fresh and delicious! The tempura sashimi was also delicious. The mackerel sashimi had a grilled flavor, which was a nice touch. The motsunabe and champon noodles at the end were also delicious. It was a fun and delicious feast. Thank you for the meal.

Despite being located in the center of Tenjin, this restaurant offers a wide variety of high-quality seafood from Kyushu. It is recommended for those who want to eat fresh fish in Tenjin. However, be aware that the menu lists the price of live squid sashimi as ¥1450/100g, but when I ordered, I received about 500g of squid, resulting in a bill of ¥7000 for one serving. If you plan to order this dish, it's a good idea to confirm the size in advance.

I used a course meal for my fish-loving partner's birthday. The restaurant was very busy but the food was served quickly and we were very satisfied. The taste, presentation, variety, and content were all perfect and we were impressed. My partner was also very happy. We have decided to visit again to try different dishes.

I visited the restaurant on a regular night. It is a private room type of place, but the door does not close completely. You can order using a QR code, so you can order freely without having to call for service. The sashimi and squid were very delicious, and the sesame mackerel was also tasty. In addition to the fish dishes, I enjoyed the menu full of Kyushu flavors, such as chicken nanban and other meat dishes.

In Hakata, there is a place called Umi no Michi where you can enjoy delicious seafood dishes. The owner personally selects fresh seafood from Itoshima's fishing port every day. We visited after a Sekai no Owari concert and were served a small hot pot as a complimentary dish. We also had a sashimi platter, octopus tempura, and corn tempura. The highlight was the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) tea rice, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, the seafood was fresh and tasty, making for a delightful dining experience.

Visited on the third day of my Fukuoka trip. Seems to be quite a popular restaurant. Upon entering, there is a large fish tank creating a lively atmosphere. The appetizer was a mini hot pot, which was a unique style. Orders are mainly done through mobile ordering. The fish was not outstanding, but reasonably fresh. Overall, the taste was neither good nor bad. What stood out more was the narrow hallway to the restroom where I encountered staff carrying dishes from the kitchen, making it difficult to pass each other. Despite repeatedly trying to give way, there was no apology or thank you from the staff, which left me feeling like there was an issue with their training or common sense. Not a place I would want to visit again. Also, the oil in the aioli was excessive. It felt like the ingredients were swimming in oil like in a bathtub.

First visit, seafood izakaya in Tenjin, a social gathering after a meeting with nearly 20 people in a private room, featuring a course menu from tai shabu to live spear squid from Yobuko, squid leg tempura, grilled squid dumplings, and black pork tofu, all-you-can-drink for 5,000 yen. It had been a while since I had an izakaya party, but the variety of dishes was good and I had a lot of fun drinking.

Unfortunately, there was no spear squid, so I tried other dishes. The menu includes Fukuoka-style grilled eel, Hokkaido-style simmered KinKi fish, and chicken tempura, with a small but high-quality selection. The restaurant's specialty seems to be the small appetizer dish, similar to a mini shabu-shabu with a slightly sweet Kyushu-style finish. The seafood dishes seemed a bit pricey for the portion size. It's a competitive area with many other options, but this restaurant seems popular for its spacious setting that can accommodate larger groups. Personally, I prefer smaller, more hidden gem-like restaurants.

I made a last-minute reservation at this restaurant where we could dine in a private room. The atmosphere was calm, the food was amazing, no complaints at all haha. We got a fresh sazae sashimi as a service for adding the restaurant as a LINE friend. The squid sashimi was also clear and delicious, and when we squeezed lemon on it, it started moving haha. We also had tempura with the sashimi. Thank you for the meal.

I was puzzled by the fact that a small number of customers were using a larger room. It is conveniently located near Tenjin Station and has many private rooms, making it easy to use for parties. There are plenty of private rooms available. It might be just right for going with a group of friends or when one table is not enough for family gatherings or blind dates. I was satisfied with the fresh seafood and Itoshima vegetables.

On the second night, I stayed in Fukuoka. I tried to make a reservation at my usual place, Makino, but they were closed that day, so I ended up making a reservation here instead. The location is on the basement floor of the Tenjin Kimuraya Building. They had measures in place for COVID-19 prevention, such as a temperature check and hand sanitizer at the entrance, and the staff were wearing masks. The appetizer served was sakuradai (cherry blossom sea bream) shabu-shabu. I ordered a drink - my friend had beer, and I chose the local sake from Fukuoka, Gen from Komaizumi. The sakuradai shabu-shabu was delicious - you cook the sakuradai yourself and eat it with ponzu sauce. It was light and tasty. The Gen sake was medium-bodied and had a rich flavor. We also ordered sesame mackerel, squid shumai, and bamboo shoot tempura as side dishes. They came in that order and each dish was delicious in its own way. The mackerel with sesame sauce was particularly good. My friend had three Mega Highballs during the meal. As a final dish, we ordered the grilled ramen. It took a bit longer to arrive compared to the other dishes. The noodles were thin and straight, and the toppings included pork, cabbage, bean sprouts, leeks, carrots, and pickled ginger on top. The ramen was slightly creamy and very tasty. The only downside was that the sake was a bit pricey, but other than that, it was a great experience. I would consider coming back here when I stay in Hakata again.
