The restaurant bar on the first floor of Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura. There are various types of pizzas and they are delicious when freshly made! The food is delicious and the staff's attention and care are impeccable. Despite its small size, you can enjoy delicious food in a stylish atmosphere.

This is an Italian restaurant located on the first floor of the Daiwa Roynet Hotel in front of Kokura Station. It has been around for about 7-8 years now. The lunch buffet, which was temporarily suspended during the pandemic, seems to have resumed. I made a reservation online and visited around 2 pm, so there was no wait. Inside, there is an open kitchen with a pizza oven where you can see pizzas being baked. The buffet includes salad, appetizers, pizza, pasta, soup, hot snacks, desserts, and a drink bar. The food is well-seasoned and has flavors that would appeal to everyone. The pizzas are all delicious, but the Quattro Formaggi is especially amazing. The menu may vary depending on the day, so you won't get tired of frequent visits. Highly recommended.

I was a little disappointed that there was no traditional pizza or pasta for breakfast the day before. However, I did find a little pizza - a rolled up Pizza Rotolo. It was delicious when toasted in the toaster. I ended up eating several because it was so tasty. I would be happy if there were more pizza and pasta options on the menu.

Salvatore went to the breakfast venue below the hotel expecting pasta and pizza. However, instead of such a limited menu, there were various dishes available for everyone's different preferences. Although there was nothing particularly distinctive, the food was delicious and enjoyable.

I stayed at a hotel and tried their breakfast. It seems like the price has changed this year. I thought the price and the content were appropriate. I was hoping for more variety, like pizza, but all they had was a different kind of roll. It was like the crust of a pizza. They had all the usual items you would find at a morning buffet. Nothing stood out as particularly delicious, but overall it was a decent meal. Thank you for the meal~

▷D.O.C S/¥2,280 ▷Assorted appetizers ¥1,960 *serves 2 people Salvatore Cuomo, who introduced Neapolitan pizza to Japan, produces this pizzeria. I've been to the Tenjin and Hakata stores before, but this was my first time at the Kokura store! It's located on the first floor of the Daiwa Roynet Hotel in front of the station. First, we ordered the assorted appetizers. It included Italian-style vegetable omelette and lemon marinated salmon, all colorful and delicious! Next, we ordered the "D.O.C" pizza, which won the top prize at the World Pizza Competition. It's a simple yet luxurious pizza with cherry tomatoes, 100% buffalo milk mozzarella, basil, and Grana Padano. The chewy crust, milky mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and basil aroma are irresistible. Even on a weekday night, the place was almost full and bustling with popularity. I couldn't eat much this time since it was our second stop, so I'd love to go back with an empty stomach next time! Reservations are recommended. ◯

I stayed with a breakfast included plan. The opening time was 7:00, and when I arrived at 7:05, there was a wait of 3-4 people for the buffet. I turned over the green card on the table to show it was in use, and then lined up for the buffet. There were plenty of vegetables and simmered dishes, which was good. The grilled mackerel had a nice amount of fat on it. The homemade tofu was also delicious. There was mentaiko in a bowl next to the rice. When you scoop the rice, the mentaiko automatically gets placed on top! There were quite a few side dishes, but it would have been better if there were more small plates. Nowadays, it's common everywhere, but I poured coffee into a paper cup to take back to the room for drinking. I tend to overeat at buffets because I hate wasting food, so I finished everything again today. Even though I had katsudon and udon as my last meal last night, I ended up eating too much this morning. Thank you for the meal.

The Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura in Fukuoka Prefecture has three dining options on the first floor, and this is the breakfast venue of the hotel. The price of 1280 yen seems reasonable for a business hotel. It's a pre-purchase system, so payment is made at the front desk and not at the restaurant. The food is prepared in-house and they don't use catering services. The buffet is pretty standard with no major standout features, but it's good enough. I ate a lot and ended up overeating. The struggle to check out with a full stomach was a memorable experience.

I went before 2 p.m. on a regular day and there were about 2 groups. It was relaxed, but the atmosphere felt a bit lackluster. Even though the staff seemed free, they couldn't clear the plates from the table for a long time. I went to get the same plate several times (laughs). In the end, the plates were never cleared during the hour I was there. Is that the system here?? In the kitchen, they were chatting (laughs), different from the staff in the dining area. Well, I was the only customer there. I've been to several stores in different prefectures, but maybe it's the era or the region, when I went after a long time, the variety had decreased significantly. Only 2 types of pasta, 3 side dishes, salad, and pizza. There were a few more options for weekday lunch in Kyobashi. The taste was average. Not bad. But maybe it might lose to other pasta restaurants. They don't seem to restock much. So I ended up eating the cold pasta, pizza, and when they run out, that's it (laughs). Since there are no customers, they don't run out of food. Anyway, I can tolerate it for this price. Maybe. There is no other place with this variety and service at this price point.

I came to this restaurant for a Christmas dinner. It's cheap, so I think it's a good value. The course was around 5000 yen. I like this place because the pizza is delicious. However, the seats are narrow and close to each other, so the atmosphere is not that great. The alcohol was tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on September 18, 2022. Concerned about the impact of Typhoon 14, I arrived in Kokura one day earlier than planned from Nagoya by car, to avoid the possibility of highway closures. Due to the strong rain and wind from the typhoon, I had a light dinner at the Italian restaurant [Salvatore Cuomo&Bar Kokura] located in the hotel. Although room service is available, the food was quite delicious and there are other menu items that caught my attention, so I might visit again during my stay. ♫

The location near Kokura Station was good. It was a bit crowded so we had to wait a little, but it seems like making a reservation would be a good idea. The lunch buffet was reasonable at 1200 yen. There were many types of pizza and two types of pasta. The salad and soup were also delicious.

JR Kokura Station front [Daiwa Roynet Hotel] There is a casual Italian restaurant on the first floor. A friend invited me to the lunch buffet where you can enjoy unlimited pizza and pasta at a low price. There are several types of pizza and pasta, and when they run out, freshly baked ones are lined up one after another. In addition to salad, fried chicken, three flavors of crispy fried potatoes, chocolate fountain, and other desserts, we continued eating while chatting and left the restaurant with a full stomach without waiting for the 90-minute time limit. The Gorgonzola cheese and honey pizza was so delicious that I had four pieces. The drink bar was well-stocked and the mango juice was rich. Since new dishes keep coming one after another, it is recommended to go on an empty stomach.

I visited SALVATORE CUOMO & BAR Kokura in Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City. The location is on the first floor of Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura Station, about a 2-minute walk from JR Kokura Station, Kokura Castle Exit. I have visited other branches of this restaurant before, but this was my first time at this particular location. I went with a friend to have some wine. It was just before 9 pm and the restaurant was about 40% full. The interior was spacious, with counter seats, table seats, and even private rooms available. We were seated at a table and placed our order. We ordered a small size (S size) of the 4 Cheese Pizza (1,800 yen) and a bottle of Kami no Ya Cabernet Sauvignon (4,000 yen). The wine was served promptly, and the pizza arrived in about 10 minutes. The pizza had honey drizzled on it, and we enjoyed it by adding some more. The menu listed 5 types of cheese on the pizza: Gorgonzola, Edam, Samsoe, Mozzarella, and Grana Padano. The S size pizza was 23 cm in diameter. The cheese was gooey and delicious, and the honey complemented it well. The crust was also tasty, and even though it had been 2 years since I last had pizza, I truly enjoyed the flavors. My friend chose a wine from Yamagata Prefecture, Kami no Ya Cabernet Sauvignon. It had a slightly punchy richness, typical Cabernet Sauvignon aroma and acidity, and felt dry, but overall the flavors were not very distinct and it was not to our liking. We didn't order any additional pizza and left the restaurant. The atmosphere was bright and pleasant. In addition to pizza, there were other menu options and a variety of drinks available. The convenient location near the station made it a very user-friendly restaurant. The staff were polite and attentive. Despite our wine choice not being the best, the pizza was delicious, and I would like to visit another SALVATORE CUOMO location in the future. Thank you for the meal.

"Alicia's Food Log: Long time no see! It's been a while since I last visited. I used to come here a lot when it first opened, but I've been a bit distant lately. I've been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but I think I like coming at night the most because they have a lot of wine options. Actually, this is our second round tonight. We had a big meal at an izakaya for the first round and now we're having pizza and fries here. There are many types of pizza, but I chose the Marinara. And my friend who has been into fries lately ordered the fried potatoes. Since the pizza doesn't have cheese, it's not heavy and you can eat a lot with the sweetness of the cherry tomatoes. There were three types of sauces for the potatoes, but we ordered sweet chili and sour cream, which was also delicious. They have a Rugby Support Fair going on until November 2nd, where you can get wine and sparkling wine for 280 yen. It's a great opportunity! Thank you for the meal today ==========="

Feeling hungry, I checked into the hotel first. I saw a notice in the elevator that caught my eye, so I ordered room service from "Salvatore Cuomo" as soon as I entered the room. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive. When there was a knock on the door, I opened it and the staff delivered the food. It was Friday night, and the weather had started raining. It seems that there were quite a few orders from other rooms as well. I ordered a Margherita pizza and a half & half pizza. While I usually order from Pizza La or Pizza Hut at home, the cost performance here was moderate, but the taste was excellent! Since I ordered a half & half, it was a large size. I also ordered a Caesar salad. Overall, I am satisfied. I can now sleep comfortably. Thank you for the meal!

I want to eat Italian food. Pizza, I mean... PIZZA! Pronunciation is important. I want to eat pizza and pasta. With this passionate feeling in my heart, I went to Salvatore's. This restaurant is always crowded with ladies lining up before opening. I went around 2 pm on a weekday, just after the lunch rush, so there was no line. The lunch menu had two options: 1) Buffet with the pizza that won the world championship for 2300 yen, 2) Regular buffet for 1000 yen. Both options were for 90 minutes, and you could add a drink bar for an extra 200 yen. We chose the 1000 yen option without hesitation. Today, it wasn't just about pizza, but salads, appetizers, pasta, pizza, and desserts were all the main characters! One for all, All for one! Starting with the salad at the buffet, the plate was big so you could put a lot on it. There were about three types of dressings. The Caesar salad was delicious! There were plenty of appetizers, and the fried sweet potato-like dish was tasty. The onion rings were big and satisfying to eat. Pasta was made fresh, and there were about four types of pizza being baked. The pizza was really pizza, like the authentic stone oven-baked pizza you would pay around 2000 yen for at an Italian restaurant. The crust was like focaccia bread. When the dishes were set out in the buffet area, the staff would say "enjoy" in Italian, making you feel like you were in Naples. The crust of the pizza was very filling! For 1000 yen, you get a satisfying experience from salad to dessert. I went back for seconds three times. I wasn't feeling my best due to a mouth ulcer this time, so I would like to go back when I'm feeling better to fully enjoy the experience.

The regular accommodation for business trips to Kitakyushu, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kokura Station. Salvatore Cuomo, located on the first floor, serves as the breakfast venue. The hotel offers a convenient feature where guests can check the congestion of the breakfast venue on the room's TV. Recently, there are a lot of foreigners in Kitakyushu. However, guests staying at Daiwa Roynet generally have good manners. The menu here is extensive. The main dishes include salad, scrambled eggs, sausages, pasta, curry, and meatballs. Side dishes consist of natto, kimpira, hijiki, umeboshi, oil-fried takana, mentaiko, and meat miso (delicious!). They have a high-performance breakfast menu. I apologize for the messy presentation and eating style. I really like eating in a bowl! The rice is also delicious. There is definitely good rice here, with attention to the water ratio. Oh, I ate too much of the mentaiko. My uric acid levels are high. Namaste. Thank you for the meal.

I went to lunch with a friend. It's an Italian restaurant popular for its pizza and lunch buffet. The location is on the Monorail Street in Fish Town, 1st Avenue, at the 1st floor of Daiwa Roynet Hotel. The stylish interior with brick-like walls serves as a hotel restaurant as well. The lunch menu offers two options: a Lunch Buffet for 1000 yen and a Premium Lunch Buffet with D.O.C. award-winning pizza for 2300 yen. Both options have a 90-minute time limit. We decided to go for the Lunch Buffet for 1000 yen and added a drink bar for 200 yen each. The L-shaped counter has a variety of dishes such as appetizers, salads, soups, pasta, pizza, and desserts. The appetizers include interesting combinations like zepolle and sweet potato lemon marinade. The pasta is decent when fresh but can get cold and soggy. The pizza, although a bit lacking in toppings, is hot and chewy. There are three dessert options and six drink options at the buffet. Overall, for 1200 yen, the quality of the buffet is quite good. Lunchtime is busy, so reservations are not accepted, and there may be lines on weekends or during peak hours at this popular restaurant.

The marinated octopus and olive, seared bacon Caesar salad, Italian ham platter, 5 types of cheese platter, white wine steamed mussels, roast beef tongue, Asahi Super Dry x2, Jack Daniel's Cassis Orange, and oolong tea came to around ¥8,700 to ¥8,800. This chain restaurant is usually hit or miss, but this one is a hit for me. All the dishes are carefully prepared and delicious. Oh, it seems like the menu has changed a bit.

In Fukuoka City, there is a popular restaurant near Kokura Station where you can enjoy a lunch buffet with a variety of dishes. When I visited, there wasn't much of a line, so I was able to enter easily. The buffet had a good selection of salads and various dishes to choose from. While some dishes were just okay, it was fun to try and find flavors that I liked. The pasta seemed a bit bland, probably because they make it in large quantities. However, the pizza had a delicious crust - chewy and crispy. I couldn't eat too much of the pasta and pizza, but the cost performance was great. I might visit again sometime soon.
