It's a popular restaurant in Osaka, so I made a reservation for Saturday at 11:30 in the afternoon. When I arrived, there was already a line forming outside the restaurant, but I was glad I had made a reservation. You place your order and the staff will carefully cook it for you. The texture is fluffy and the sauce is perfectly rich, creating a delicious balance.

I visited Osaka for the first time. I took the Shinkansen from Shin-Yokohama after 10 AM and arrived at Shin-Osaka at 12:15 PM. I took the Midosuji Line to Umeda and dropped off my luggage at the hotel around 1 PM. I was looking for a place to have lunch and came across this restaurant while browsing through Tabelog. I decided to go in immediately. I ordered the "Okosoba" B set and 6 pieces of takoyaki, and changed the complimentary drink to a draft beer. I didn't want a heavy meal, so I was happy to be able to enjoy my favorite yakisoba, okonomiyaki, and takoyaki all in one place! As expected of "Yukari Quality." While waiting, I ended up drinking the draft beer and then added a Yukari Highball (Hennessy). I customized my order with shichimi for the yakisoba, and "Yukari Special" spicy sauce and mayonnaise for the okonomiyaki. It was incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I brought my friends from Kanto to a place that feels like Osaka, and they were very pleased with the delicious food. They particularly enjoyed the grilled beef tendon with green onions. Despite many foreign employees, they were all very friendly and helpful, showing that they were well-trained.

Before heading home, I wanted to eat something typical of Kansai in Osaka, so I ordered a mix okonomiyaki at "Yukari" here. It felt luxurious to have the staff cook it right in front of me. While waiting for it to be ready, I finished my draft beer and ordered another one haha. The okonomiyaki was fluffy and delicious. However, one okonomiyaki and two beers cost over ¥2500. Where is the casual feeling of street food? Maybe it's just the location.

The staff will cook it for you. The communication in Osaka dialect is so Osaka-like and great. The prawn is extra large! I took a friend from another prefecture who had never tried Negiyaki before, and they were very satisfied. Definitely recommended for sightseeing!

After shopping in Umeda, my family and I went to Yukari. They have a variety of box seats and offer children's dishes and stroller storage service, making it convenient for families with kids. We ordered the special mixed grill, large special yakisoba, and tonpei-yaki. The food was delicious and it's a great place for families. Thank you for the meal.

This is a review of the chain restaurant Yukari Sonezaki Honten, which serves okonomiyaki, located on Ohatsu Tenjin Street. They offer a weekday lunch menu with four options priced at 980-1000 yen. Each option allows you to choose between rice and soup or salad and a soft drink. I tried the recommended Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with rice and soup for 1000 yen. The dish was cooked in front of me on a hot plate at the table, and additional condiments like Okonomi sauce were provided.

I ordered a special menu item at Yukari. I was a bit surprised to see whole shrimp heads in the okonomiyaki, but it was very delicious. The cabbage was crunchy, and the ratio of flour to ingredients was just right, making it easy to eat. I also tried a bit of the yakisoba my companion ordered, and it was quite tasty as well. Personally, I thought the okonomiyaki at this restaurant was delicious.

The atmosphere of a typical okonomiyaki restaurant. They ask if you want a fried egg on top for free no matter what you order, so I had both the okonomiyaki and yakisoba with a fried egg. Both were very delicious. I especially liked the thickness and firmness of the yakisoba noodles, which suited my taste perfectly, and I finished it all in no time.

I had been curious about this shop for a while as it is the main branch and well-known, but the taste was quite ordinary. The sauce had an original flavor, but it was a bit too sweet and didn't really go well with the okonomiyaki.

This place seems to be popular in Osaka, with long lines forming on weekends. I remember the name of the restaurant, but I went there back when I was in college, so I don't remember the exact location. I was invited by a friend and we were able to sit down easily after the lunch rush. I ordered a bottled Super Dry beer and a tonpeiyaki, which was brought to me after being grilled. The tonpeiyaki was placed vertically, which was a bit unusual, but it didn't seem to affect the taste. I also ordered an additional dish of horumon yakisoba, which was filled with vegetables and had a good flavor. I plan to come back when there are no lines and try the butadama next time.

I came here wondering why this place is so popular. "Yukari" was my choice, and I was satisfied with just one okonomiyaki and takoyaki. Oh, it was delicious! When I was about to leave, there was already a long line. I recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before opening.

A must-visit place. As someone living in Kanto, Osaka means only this to me. I invited a junior colleague living locally to visit a popular restaurant. We had to wait a bit in line, but it only took about 10 minutes to get in. The line never seemed to stop at this popular spot. The okonomiyaki is cooked by the staff one by one, so you can always enjoy delicious okonomiyaki. Beer goes perfectly well with okonomiyaki. We thoroughly enjoyed the Osaka vibe.

Last year when I came, I thought the same thing, but as a fan of flour-based dishes, the okonomiyaki I eat in Kanto may be a perfect 100, but the okonomiyaki I eat in Osaka is not just a perfect 200, it's beyond any rating. This time, I lined up at a famous restaurant for the first time, arriving 40 minutes early on a Sunday. The second group lined up right behind me, and by 20 minutes before opening, there was quite a line. By 10 minutes before opening, the line had turned the corner of the shop and was out of sight. I ordered the Fromage-yaki okonomiyaki. Also, the tonpei-yaki and tsuchiniku. They were all delicious, but the attention to detail in the Fromage-yaki was like, "Well, this price is justified." The staff turned it over at just the right timing, surprising me five times! When they cut the Quattro Fromage-yaki with a spatula, it revealed a delicious pool of cheese inside. And with four types of cheese piled on top, you'd think it would be a calorie bomb with a heavy texture, but surprisingly not. Contrary to expectations, there was less flour due to the cheese, and despite the generous amount of cheese, the taste was just right with the sauce and mayonnaise, light enough to eat easily without worrying too much about calories. In fact, with less carbohydrates (flour) and more protein (cheese), it's recommended even for those who are working out. The tonpei-yaki was also incredibly delicious. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I come back to Osaka.

At a recent dinner gathering, we decided to go with the reliable choice of flour-based dishes in Osaka, so we chose this place with a good reputation. The decor of the restaurant had changed a bit since my last visit years ago, and there were some differences from what I remembered, but the most important part - the delicious okonomiyaki - was still as good as ever. The appetizer of konjac and kimchi was decent, with a bit of a strong spicy flavor that seemed more like a snack. We waited a bit and then the staff came to mix the okonomiyaki batter in a bowl and cooked it right in front of us. It was a great service to ensure there were no mistakes. Watching the batter gradually turn crispy as it cooked was quite enjoyable. From observing how they mixed it beforehand, it was clear that the okonomiyaki and negiyaki would turn out fluffy and delicious. We tried multiple grilled dishes with two other people, and each one was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. As we finished eating and the feeling of fullness set in, it was a satisfying meal. It was a great experience. Looking forward to the next opportunity to visit again.

Off to Osaka! It's actually my first time trying okonomiyaki in Osaka. I found a nice-looking restaurant that takes reservations, so I went to Yukari. Despite the long line outside, I was able to get in smoothly because I made a reservation, which I highly recommend. I ordered the special mixed okonomiyaki called Modern Yaki and the suji negi okonomiyaki. The staff at the restaurant cooked them carefully for me. The special mixed okonomiyaki was rich with sauce, while the suji negi was finished with soy sauce. I was surprised by how delicious the suji negi okonomiyaki was. The combination of the fragrant negi, sweet and savory suji, and the refreshing lemon was excellent. I definitely prefer this one. The special mixed okonomiyaki was also tasty, but I felt that the more traditional one had a more delicate and flavorful taste. I would like to try the okonomiyaki with yam from Mitsuno next time. Overall, it was really delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I visited in the early afternoon and there were two groups waiting in line. I decided to line up as well, and soon more people lined up behind me, forming a line in no time! It felt like there were more foreign tourists inside, with about 70% of the customers being foreigners. It made me feel like I was abroad, haha. I ordered the special mix okonomiyaki and the fromage with plenty of cheese, as well as a simple teppanyaki soba. The okonomiyaki had a fluffy and light texture, and the fromage with lots of cheese was irresistible for cheese lovers! The soba was also consistently delicious. ☺️

I visited for lunch on a regular weekday. It's a popular restaurant indeed. Even on a weekday, I had to wait for about 20 minutes. You can choose whether to have it cooked in front of you or have it brought to you already cooked. I decided to have it cooked in front of me. I was amazed by the staff's skill in cooking it fluffy and round. I haven't had okonomiyaki much when dining out, but it was so delicious that it became a memorable taste. I heard that on weekdays, you can get a free egg topping.

Today, I went to a okonomiyaki restaurant in the area of Osaka's Ohatsu Tenjin.
Okonomiyaki Yukari is a long-established okonomiyaki restaurant founded in 1950. They have several branches in Osaka, and the one in Sonezaki is considered the "main store."
After a short wait near the entrance, we were seated at our table where there was a teppan (iron griddle). The staff cooked the okonomiyaki on the teppan at each table.
The prices for okonomiyaki were mainly in the 1,000 yen range. There were various types of okonomiyaki on the menu. This time, we ordered the Special Mix with domestic pork belly, squid, and large shrimp.
The Special Mix okonomiyaki was thick and large, and it seemed to be the most popular item at Yukari! The staff added sauce and mayonnaise, and then we could add bonito flakes, seaweed, etc. to taste.
The batter was thick and hot. The okonomiyaki was filled with plenty of shrimp, pork, and other ingredients. The batter was fluffy and soft, and the sauce and mayonnaise blended well with it. It was a delicious okonomiyaki where you could taste the ingredients inside the batter.
I had a great time enjoying the popular okonomiyaki at Yukari.
