I went to a cafe right in the middle of lunchtime. The interior was stylish, the staff were lovely, and there were many foreign customers, making it feel like I had stepped into a cafe in the middle of nature in Europe! I forgot the name, but I ordered an organic burger with ginger ale. The lunch menu had a choice of salad and soup with the burger.

After playing in Niseko, I got hungry so I decided to visit this place. It was 1:00 PM. I thought I might have to wait a bit, but I was seated fairly quickly. However, the staff didn't seem to notice me at all... Maybe it was a busy time? I ordered the Wagyu burger. It was my first time trying such a thick burger! I wasn't sure the correct way to eat it. I ended up cutting it with a knife and fork, then eating it piece by piece. Not the most elegant way to eat, maybe that's why they provide wrapping paper? To hide it from the person across from you. The taste was excellent though. The buns were sweet and fluffy, the ingredients had a fresh crunch, and the Wagyu patty was amazing. The only downside was that there were many flies! Maybe it's unavoidable in this location.

After 6 years, I revisited Niseko. The okonomiyaki restaurant "Juu" next door had been replaced by a cheese factory-like shop. The building seemed to be newly built. The restaurant at the ski resort had pricey items like "Pork Cutlet Curry: 1,600 yen" and "Beef Bowl: 2,600 yen", so I decided to try this new place I saw the day before, albeit with some hesitation. It's important to explore new places for both work and meals, right? The parking lot was very spacious, indicating possibly foreign ownership and maybe even ski tours being offered. Inside, a friendly young person from Chile greeted us (later found out). Their Japanese language skills were around 60% (my English listening skills are about 20%...). They asked "How does the food taste?" and provided a positive service. On weekdays, they have burgers, but on weekends, it's brunch menu. My partner had Eggs Benedict (choice of ham or salmon), while I ordered a sausage sandwich. They served water in a pitcher, so ordering drinks was optional. The food arrived in about 20 minutes. It was quite a generous portion and visually appealing, not quite the typical Japanese sense of aesthetics. This was the only new place I tried on this Niseko trip, but I was very satisfied. The Eggs Benedict didn't quite match the one I had in Hawaii at "House Without a Key", but it was still of high quality. The view of Mt. Yotei from our table, the clean and new interior, and the comfortable atmosphere made it a pleasant experience. We also ordered coffee, and my partner seemed to really enjoy it. I wonder when I can visit again. I definitely want to come back.

For lunch, I went to this place. The interior is white and woody with 7 spaced-out tables. I couldn't decide between the terrace and inside, but I chose inside. The burger is on the menu from Wednesday to Saturday, and on Sunday they have a brunch menu. We shared the Roast Toulouse Sausage and Egg Benedict from the brunch menu. The English muffin in the Egg Benedict was delicious, and the Roast Toulouse Sausage on sourdough bread was also very tasty. I had an iced cappuccino and a limited edition shiso soda to drink, both were delicious and generous portions. The staff on the day I visited were all foreigners, as were half of the customers, so the atmosphere was quite unique. It was a luxurious holiday lunch. Thank you for the meal! (o^^o)

I happened to come across a restaurant by chance! The place used to be a cheese factory, but now it has been turned into a restaurant. The cute sign made me wonder if it could also be used as a cafe, so I decided to stop by. To my surprise, a very beautiful foreign woman welcomed me. I was asked to sanitize my hands and have my temperature checked. The view from the large windows was amazing! While admiring it, I looked at the menu and found it quite high-end. Since I wasn't very hungry, I asked if I could just order a drink. It was okay, so I ordered tea and espresso, each for 440 yen including tax. The tea came in a big pot, which was a pleasant surprise! The service was excellent! I was happy to drink plenty of my favorite Earl Grey tea. When I mentioned how lovely the view was during payment, I was shown the counter seats, the bar counter, and even the sofa seats in the back. They were very kind. I'm sure this wonderful restaurant will become more and more popular. I would love to dine here next time. Thank you, "Ichii" restaurant!
