辛口トトロン
The opening day for the visit on February 16, 2024, was supposed to be in February, but I still don't know when it will actually open (sweat). Recently, I found out through a YouTuber's post that it was already open! Originally, they were running a gimbap shop in North Maruyama, but now it's a crepe shop, haha. Anyway, the seating is on the second floor, and the place can accommodate over 50 people.
First, I ordered a drink: a strong lemon sour for 400 yen. It was really strong (sweat), and I struggled to finish it even after requesting three cups of water, haha. Quite a good deal!
Now for the food. First up, three types of namul for 450 yen. The flavor was a bit weak, so of course, I asked for a separate plate to mix it up while eating (^^). I really like eating it this way!
Next is the main dish: Hokkaido thick-cut samgyeopsal for one, priced at 3,500 yen. The pork was thick and good, but it felt overpriced for a set meal (^^;). It would be fine for inbound tourists, I guess, haha. Eating the meat made me want some rice, so I ordered a bulgogi bibimbap for 950 yen. Oops! I accidentally broke the yolk and didn’t take a picture (^^;).
Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, the bibimbap has a bit of namul, some bulgogi, and a fried egg on it (^^). The rice is a generous portion! The accompanying miso sauce was great; without it, it would have just been a healthy dish! I ended up pretty full (^^). Overall, the cost-performance wasn’t that good (^^;). Not having all-you-can-eat or all-you-can-drink options, plus spending over 5,000 yen on individual items, felt a bit much (^^;).
