This bakery has a charming atmosphere. Seeing the chef working in the back makes me happy. The appearance of the products is great - all the breads look beautiful! I was looking forward to getting a croissant but it was sold out. However, when I asked, they quickly brought out a freshly baked one. I came here for breakfast shopping, but the tempting sweets also caught my eye. The variety of bread, both hard and soft, is impressive. I will definitely come back to this wonderful shop.

I visited after a long time. I bought cream bread, French bread, and croissants. The cream bread has a rich flavor. The French bread has a good texture, not too hard. The croissant has a buttery aroma, crispy and delicious. I think this bakery is a pride of Hokkaido.

I purchased croissants and other recommended items from a local bakery in Tomakomai, based on suggestions from Instagram followers. The croissant had a crispy crust, a delightful wheat flavor, and a perfect balance of fermented butter and saltiness. It was indeed delicious and I can see why it's popular. The other breads had a sophisticated harmony of fermentation and a fragrant aroma. Many of them seemed to pair well with wine. Oh my, they are clearly of a high quality. I highly recommend this bakery.

On the second day of my Hokkaido trip in spring 2023, I had lunch at a curry restaurant and then took the East-West Line back to the bus center. After that, I visited a recommended bakery called A・Ton・Cote, where I bought Camembert Noix (a delicious cheese and walnut bread) and Pan Choux Cream (a pastry with cream filling). The bakery had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I would definitely visit this bakery again. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the store at 4:30 on a regular day, but there were only 5 types of items left. Although the item I was thinking of buying was not available, I decided to buy 2 items from the remaining options.
- Pain de Levain (350 yen): A hard bread made with the shop's own yeast. It has a crispy crust and a fluffy interior. Delicious!
- Raisin Cocoa (320 yen): It has a mochi-like texture and can be enjoyed as a dessert. However, it is a bit pricey. I am interested in trying out other bread options as well. (May 2023)

I purchased a croissant, French toast made with French bread, a raisin cocoa pastry, and a yellow balloon pastry. They were all delicious (﹡ˆ﹀ˆ﹡)♡ The croissant was crispy and the staff at the shop were very polite and kind, which warmed my heart. I would love to visit again~.

This was my first visit to a bakery in the Sojo River East area. The interior of the shop is small, but they have a fairly wide variety of bread, including some refrigerated items. Since I hadn't had breakfast, I tried a cream-filled bun, a sausage-filled bun, and French toast.

There is a bakery near the Bus Center station with a very cute building! I love the combination of wood and red color. The smell of bread inside the shop is so inviting. The staff are friendly, and I bought the classic croissant, as well as an anpan, cream pan, and another bread whose name I forgot (lol). I couldn't resist, so I ate the croissant as soon as I got home. The outside was crispy with a slightly burnt taste, which was nice! But the inside was a bit greasy. A little disappointing. The red bean paste in the anpan also had a raw smell to it. That was also disappointing.

I have visited the shop several times since my last review. Here are some photos of the pastries. I chose a croissant that was baked just the way I like it, and it was delicious. I prefer the hard breads like baguettes at this shop. It would be nice to walk around with a long baguette like the French do, but since the parking lot is far away, I always have them cut it for me to take with me. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

On a certain holiday, I finally visited a bakery in Chuo-ku Odori Higashi 3-chome that I had bookmarked for a long time and had high ratings from other reviews. There seems to be no parking lot, but there is a coin parking lot next door. The bakery is located on the first floor of a building a little off the main street, and it was constantly crowded with customers coming in from the morning, quickly filling up the not-so-large store. From the menu on that day, I chose some items from the display shelf, including hard bread, croissants, soft bread, and of course, sandwich bread. The bread looked appealing and the store quickly became packed with customers. I bought a "Salt Bread (160 yen)" which had a deeper brown color compared to average salt bread, and the surface was matte. When I took a bite, I noticed that the bread dough itself was different from the usual, perhaps due to a different type of wheat flour. It was moist inside with a moderate amount of salt, but lacked the expected butter content, which might disappoint those who were hoping for more butter. I also tried an "Olive Bread (360 yen)" which had a rich flavor with plenty of salted black olives inside, suitable for a meal. Lastly, I tasted a "Rum Raisin Bread (400 yen)" which had a strong rum flavor and a sugary coating on the surface. The croissant dough was moist inside with plenty of rum-soaked raisins, making it a delightful treat. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety and high quality of bread available, and I decided to buy some before heading home next time. Thank you for the delicious treats.

[Visited in early August 2022] My wife really likes it, so I decided to try it too.
- Croissant (240 yen): The appearance may not be the best, but the dough is crispy and fine-grained, with a good balance of buttery aroma and saltiness. It's a delicious croissant that you would expect from a high-end bakery.
- Levain Fig (370 yen): A fine-textured hard bread with a good amount of figs and a noticeable orange peel flavor. The combination of figs and orange peel is excellent. I enjoyed it very much.
Overall, it's a great bakery where I would like to try more bread as a staple, not just for tasting. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a charming bakery that I had been curious about for a while. They had a great selection of hard bread. I bought an olive bread, a bread with orange peel, a popular sandwich bread, and a butter something. I tried the butter something in the car on the way home. It was delicious but nothing particularly special. When I got home, I tried the two hard breads. They were very fragrant. I personally prefer bread with a bit more acidity and chewiness, but my husband really liked them. We will try the square loaf later. The staff were very polite and friendly. It seems like the sweet bread is popular there. Since my husband liked it, we will definitely visit again.

"I went to Atone Kote for breakfast! When I go alone around Sapporo Station, I like to explore about 3 takeout shops and then avoid eating out the next day to finish up what I bought. This time, I visited 3 bakeries, so tomorrow will be a bread festival from morning till night! Even on a rainy day, there were customers in the shop. Croissants and hard bread are popular, so I will buy one of each!
- Ordered bread:
・Croissant with Ezo Venison Salami (¥300)
・Yuzu and Pepper (¥360)
・Croissant with Ezo Venison Salami: A bread with Ezo venison salami wrapped in croissant dough. When you bite into the dough, the buttery taste and crispy texture spread out! The overflowing crust is the charm of being crispy because it's freshly baked! The cheese and nuts on top add flavor and texture to the croissant. The spiciness and saltiness of the Ezo venison meat, along with its savory taste, expand as you chew. It has a good balance of flavors and is a meal-like croissant. I like sweet croissants, but a savory croissant like this is also delicious!
・Yuzu and Pepper Baguette: A baguette with yuzu and pepper in the dough. It feels dense compared to other hard bread I've had before. Even when toasted in a toaster oven, the outer chewy texture remains, and the inner part is so firm that it requires some jaw power. The crispy texture on the outside is there, but the bread has elasticity throughout. The sour and bitter yuzu flavor is well blended, and the addition of pepper adds a spicy twist! I was worried that the sourness would disappear when baked, but the yuzu aroma spread nicely when baked! The aroma stimulates the appetite, but the bread is heavy and tiring to eat due to its solid texture. However, once you start eating, it becomes addictive, so it's a mature bread. It would be great as a snack with alcohol! After conquering the croissants and hard bread, I will challenge the Danish pastries next time! I received a stamp card as a shop card substitute. Thank you for the meal."

It is a small shop that gets crowded with about 3 people. The service was very polite. The pear Danish had crispy layers, the mushroom tartine had a strong mushroom flavor, and the chocolate chip melon bread had a subtle amount of chocolate chips with a sweet cookie dough on top. The walnut brioche and pistachio Danish were also delicious, although a bit pricey. Personally, I would consider this a bakery for special treats. I would like to go back for the pear and cream bread and brioche.

3-1-1 Odori East, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. A bakery located in Sapporo's Chuo-ku, near the Sosei River East. It has a chic French cafe, bakery vibe with a dark brown exterior and a red emblem. I stumbled upon it around 6 pm on a Saturday. There is a nearby tower apartment building. The place was almost sold out by 7 pm, a popular spot indeed. I bought two Pain au Chocolat for 270 yen each. The croissant made with French chocolate was crispy and had a nice aroma. There were two rows of chocolate inside, not a lot but had a strong presence. I planned to save one for breakfast the next day but ended up eating both because they were so delicious. The staff mentioned that they usually open at 9 am, but on weekends and holidays, they open at 8 am. It's important to go early to popular bakeries like this one, or they might run out of items quickly.

I wanted to have a rich breakfast, so I went to buy some pastries.
- Levain Fig (370 yen): A hard bread with orange peel and figs mixed in. The more you chew, the more you can taste the aroma of wheat flour and the sweetness of orange peel and figs. It was very delicious.
- Ezoshika Salami (300 yen): Croissant dough with Ezoshika salami inside and cheese on top. There was also a little bit of tomato inside, which was very tasty.
- Dark Cherry Danish (330 yen): A crispy Danish pastry with sweet dark cherries and just the right amount of custard. This was my favorite.
All of them were delicious, no disappointments! I definitely want to buy Danish pastries again next time.

When I entered the store, there were many types of bread lined up, all looking delicious! I was torn because they all looked so good! This time, I bought a baguette and some other bread that caught my eye. The texture of this bread was very light and easy to eat, so I ended up eating several pieces haha. The staff were also very kind, and the atmosphere of the store was really nice.

The walnut and blue cheese galette had a crunchy texture with a light feel, and the walnuts were fragrant and delicious. The Camembert cheese was gooey and hot, matching well with the crispy crust. The croissant had a buttery and crispy texture, and the custard cream in the Danish pastry was rich and delicious with visible vanilla beans. The pastry cream pie had a generous amount of custard cream, which was not too sweet and easy to eat a lot of.

Bright and cheerful staff welcomed me. I arrived close to 2 pm, so about half of the items were sold out, but they had small and affordable options like melon bread. The fruit Danish with toppings looked really delicious, but since it wasn't my favorite fruit, I chose something else. The chocolate chip melon bread had a crispy cookie crust that made me worry about cutting the corner of my mouth when I took a bite. The inside was soft and fluffy, very tasty. I'm sure the croissants are delicious too. The cheese cupcake was still soft even when cold, with plenty of cheese on top (and maybe a little inside too). The freshly baked ones must be even more delicious. The black sugar bread was a half steamed bun, half croissant-like pastry covered generously with sweet red beans and black sugar. I wanted something sweet with a chewy texture, and that bread hit the spot. I also received a loyalty card where I can earn points for every 500 yen spent, with no expiration date mentioned.

I decided to go to A Ton Coté for lunch and try their baguette sandwich. I was craving some delicious ham, so I added some pumpkin and melted cheese on top before toasting it. It's tricky to get the right level of heat without ruining the freshly baked baguette. I also bought a chocolate croissant and a chocolate-filled croissant, which I don't usually choose. I couldn't resist the temptation of diving into the chocolate croissant first, even though I had the baguette sandwich and croque-madame waiting. Hail to chocolate! I managed to resist licking the pointed parts, but the creamy chocolate filling and soft pastry were a luxurious treat. The buttery and flaky layers of the croissant paired perfectly with the chocolate. It may seem a bit pricey compared to other places, but the quality is definitely worth it. Trying something different once in a while is important.
