All of the meats were extremely fresh, with no unpleasant smell, and were tender, leaving me impressed by the deliciousness of raw sheep meat! It was my first time trying sheep meat yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), and I think it's a dish that can only be eaten in Hokkaido, and even within Hokkaido, it can only be eaten here. The owner carefully explained the different cuts of meat and seemed to take great pride in their product, so I ordered everything recommended. I arrived at a later, quieter time after the other customers had finished their meals, so the owner explained the cooking method at the beginning while cooking. As I listened to the explanation and ate, I could taste the freshness and deliciousness that made me understand their dedication. You can taste the sweetness and flavor of the meat with just salt, giving a mysterious sensation more like high-end yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) than Genghis Khan (grilled mutton). I would love to visit again when I travel to Hokkaido! Although there are sheep meat yakiniku or Genghis Khan restaurants in Tokyo, eating Hokkaido-produced meat that is bought from a single sheep enhances the satisfaction of the trip. When I posted about it on social media, friends from other prefectures asked me for information because they wanted to visit when they travel. We arrived around 9:30 PM, had a toast with alcohol, and the meal for two cost around 15,000 yen (including additional meat we ordered, I think). Just for reference.

Located on the second floor of a building across from STV on Kitaichijo Street, this Genghis Khan (Mongolian barbecue) restaurant is known for its delicious Suffolk lamb. My wife and I decided to have dinner here after hearing good things from a friend. The restaurant has many table seats and we were seated promptly even without a reservation, but it was quite busy so I recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit. The meat is cooked in a Genghis Khan pot style, and although there is an exhaust duct, the smell did stick to our clothes. Orders are placed using a tablet. You can enjoy Suffolk lamb, Australian Merino lamb, and French Raccoon lamb here. We opted for the "Suffolk Assorted Set for 2 (7,500 yen)" and also ordered "Mineral Water Bean Sprouts (300 yen)," "Pumpkin (300 yen)," and "Sapporo Yellow Onion (300 yen)." While waiting, we enjoyed the complimentary "Lamb Stew (500 yen)." The meat arrived after about 5 minutes, with the set including Sirloin, Kalbi, Rump, Chuck Rib, and Shoulder cuts. The staff cooked the first batch for us and explained various details about the meat sourcing and cooking methods. The meat had no gamey taste and was incredibly delicious, with the Sirloin being a personal favorite. While the prices are high due to the rarity of the meat, it's definitely worth it for a delicious Genghis Khan experience.

I made a reservation based on the comments on Tabelog and visited the restaurant. I arrived around 17:00 even though my reservation was for 18:30. The restaurant was busy since lunchtime and they seated me as soon as they could. I ordered the sheep meat from Shibetsu, France, or Australia using a tablet device. I chose the Shibetsu sheep meat and it was delicious, tender, and had no strong taste. I would like to order the Shibetsu Suffolk meat next time as well.

I entered the restaurant and had a meeting with the staff at the table. They asked if I had a reservation, and I confirmed that I did. I was then shown to my seat and informed that I could order using a touch screen. I had pre-booked a course, and they seemed to understand as they began preparing. While seated, I ordered a drink and the meeting continued with staff going in and out of the kitchen. It was unbelievable! The rough handling made me realize that this was not a good restaurant. The meat was fresh and delicious, but the lunch course was lacking in volume. Later, a customer who had just arrived commented that lamb was expensive and that Japanese people don't eat it because it costs more than twice as much as wagyu beef. The staff explained various ways to cook the meat, showing a strong dedication to their craft, but lacking in hospitality. The meat was cut thick and in large chunks, making it difficult to eat. The appetizer had wilted leaves and was served as is. If they have such dedication, they should at least cook it. The sauce was also not great. I left the restaurant early. It was a disappointing experience at this restaurant. It made sense why you could walk in without a reservation!

I was recommended by a local to visit around 16:00 and as expected, the restaurant was empty. The food presentation was like a high-end yakiniku restaurant, which was surprising as I had always thought of Genghis Khan as just meat and vegetables stir-fried together. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the meat was, especially the locally sourced Suffolk lamb from Shibetsu. The kalbi was chewy and the lamp was tender, and eating them with salt really brought out the flavor of the meat. It was a delightful experience.

I came all the way to Hokkaido, so I couldn't miss out on trying "Genghis Khan" (grilled lamb). After searching for various restaurants, I decided on this one despite the slightly higher price, due to the freshness of the meat and the delicious fatty and smoky flavor when grilled. My expectations were exceeded as the high-quality lamb was incredibly tender. It completely changed my perception of lamb meat. The restaurant had a powerful duct about 30cm above the Genghis Khan grill, so there was no smoky smell of fat filling the air inside. This made it a place where even women could visit without worrying about their clothes. I deeply felt that I would like to visit this restaurant many times. Thank you for the wonderful meal tonight. Thank you very much!

I ordered Genghis Khan cuisine for the first time without knowing anything about it, just wanting to eat, but I was very satisfied. I ordered the recommended dishes from the staff. 2-person 3-country lamb assortment @7,600 Seasonal grilled vegetable assortment @1,280 Chinese cabbage kimchi @480 Draft beer @680 x2 ¥1,360 Corn tea highball @380 x4 ¥1,520 Appetizer @300 x2 ¥600 Even when the ingredients were brought out, I didn't know how to cook them, but the staff kindly cooked most of them and said, "It's ready to eat." The complimentary "lamb pate" was also very delicious. The corn tea highball was inexpensive but delicious. On the way out, I received a gift of one cup of raw rice per person. All the staff were kind and friendly. Overall, I was very satisfied! I highly recommend this restaurant to many people.

Chateaubriand is exquisite! Made from Suffolk breed in Shibetsu City, this rare cut can only be taken from one sheep, serving two people. It's a high-end option for lamb, but a must-try here! The downside is the operation. The loud instructions can be annoying and make some people uncomfortable.

You can enjoy Hokkaido-produced Genghis Khan at this restaurant. Unlike the standard Genghis Khan, the meat is grilled over charcoal without any sauce. It has a light salt flavor that allows you to savor the taste of the meat. The hot pot contains Genghis Khan, and the vegetables are cooked in the meat oil and seasoned with sauce. The course does not include dessert, making it suitable for those who want to eat and drink affordably!

I arrived at around 5:00 pm. They said they were fully booked from 6:00 pm, but they were able to seat us without a reservation if we were okay with dining for about an hour. I was surprised when they served us the rice they use at the restaurant. It was nice to receive such service. It was my first time trying Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), and the staff kindly explained how to eat it from scratch. They also provided recommendations on how to cook the meat, which was very helpful. The meat was so good that you could even eat it raw. However, the sirloin had a slight lamb odor.

I reserved a seat for the Bon holiday and was surprised to receive complimentary rice soup as soon as I sat down! The staff were lively and kind. It was my first time trying Jingisukan, so I went with the Hokkaido Jingisukan recommended by the staff. It had no gamey taste and my children (college student and middle school student) seemed satisfied. If I have the chance, I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

It's really delicious, but domestic Suffolk lamb can be quite expensive. The cost performance may not be the best. It's a grilled lamb dish without marinating in sauce, similar to yakiniku. The Suffolk sampler comes with descriptions of the cuts and recommended doneness, which is helpful. The crimi, lamp, and red meat cuts are all so tasty. However, the Australian shoulder loin, which costs about a third of the price, is also delicious. It's not recommended by the restaurant, but it's still really good. I might just keep ordering this despite the judgmental looks I might get.

It's lunchtime so today I'm having Australian lamb. The charcoal-grilled restaurant serves Australian lamb that is delicious without any strong taste. It seems all the Genghis Khan restaurants are busy with families during the summer vacation. I want to come back in the evening to enjoy Suffolk lamb. It's been a while, and I was surprised to see the wide variety of wines available. It might be tough to have wine alone during the day, so I'll make a reservation for the evening next time to enjoy wine leisurely. Looking forward to visiting again!

Ishida, famous for its high-quality Jingisukan, is a must-try in Susukino, Sapporo! The meat is so delicious with no gamey taste, best enjoyed with salt. The Yukke is a must-try dish for each person. I wish they had all-you-can-drink options, that would make it even better!

After a 3-day break from alcohol, I had a meeting followed by a social gathering. We left our business partner and arrived at the restaurant just a minute away on foot. We started with a cheers with draft beer. Today, we ordered a la carte instead of a course meal. As we waited with our chopsticks in hand, the ordered meat arrived and was quickly grilled by a young person. Although I usually handle the cooking, today I decided to just enjoy the meal. The meats included Shihoro Sa-Hawk, Australian Merino, and French Racoon. Unfortunately, the lamb stew mentioned on the menu was not available, which was disappointing. Among the meats, the French one was surprisingly delicious. The Rockford cheese made from sheep was also easy to identify and I really liked it. I believe that cooking your own meat and eating it at the right moment is the best way to enjoy it.

In June, three friends and I went on a day trip to Sapporo from Narita on a weekday for a food tour. We had decided on having Genghis Khan (grilled mutton) for lunch, so we made a reservation and enjoyed a lunch course. However, since some people in our group didn't like offal, I thought next time we could order a la carte and choose our favorite dishes.

Recently, there is a Mongolian barbecue restaurant that has been receiving a high number of visitors. Unlike during the pandemic, Hokkaido is bustling with tourists from Japan and around the world, and Ishida, the charcoal-grilled Mongolian barbecue restaurant, is lively with many tourist customers. They pride themselves on the quality of their ingredients and are a high-end Mongolian barbecue restaurant, but the casual atmosphere of the interior and staff adds an interesting touch. This time, we visited with the usual Sapporo gathering members and first-time participants at Ishida, and the first-time companion was impressed by the lamb meat they tried at first. Of course, the classic sirloin was so delicious that it seemed addictive, and the repeat visit was requested by the first-time companion, who couldn't resist the rareness of the lamb meat. It looks like we might end up coming back again in November for our next visit.

The owner who came to Sapporo from Niigata seemed to have had a restaurant in Gunma before Niigata. What sets this place apart from the Niigata store is the opportunity to eat high-quality Genghis Khan lamb from France and other rare options. It may be slightly pricey, but the taste is definitely worth the price. The drink selection is also top-notch. Highly recommended.

I ordered a set from France and asked for a small change to lamb chops. It had been a while since I had lamb chops, and although the surface was well cooked, it was a bit rare and soft inside when I took a bite. The taste of the fat was also delicious.

I tried Genghis Khan for the first time, and the staff cooked it for me. I chose domestic Shibe Suffolk meat, and they told me I could eat it raw, which surprised me. They cooked it a little bit, and when I sprinkled Himalayan rock salt on it, it was delicious. They also cooked the vegetables with lamb fat, bringing out the vegetable flavors. Especially the asparagus!! I ordered another one! They also gave me rice as a souvenir.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on my day off. I was happy that I could make a reservation for one person. They offer Shiribeshi Suffolk, French, and Australian meats, with a choice of different cuts. You can also choose marinated or raw meat to compare and enjoy. I started with the French lamb, which had a distinct sheep-like smell and flavor. The meat had a rich taste that I enjoyed. Next, I tried the Shiribeshi Suffolk shoulder, which had no unpleasant smell and was very elegant. Lastly, I wanted to experience a bold flavor, so I tried the French lamb marinated in sauce. Each meat had its own unique characteristics and was delicious. It was a great place where I could find my favorite type of meat.

Arrived 10 minutes late. Grateful for the friendly service from the staff who said they were waiting for me. The Shirono from Shibetsu Suffolk can only be eaten here in Sapporo! Ordered the assorted plate - so delicious. And the heart was exquisite. According to the staff, it's best enjoyed rare after quickly searing it. The beer was also incredibly tasty!!
