I've recently been really into exploring local Chinese restaurants. Last time I tried to visit, the owner was sick and the restaurant was closed for renovations, but I found out they reopened in December, so I decided to give it another try. I was really intrigued by the reviews of the Sharentanmen by senior reviewers, so I really wanted to try it out this time. Although the restaurant is supposed to open at 11:00 according to Tabelog, on this day they actually opened at 11:30. I arrived just a little after the opening time and managed to snag a seat at the counter next to the register. It was almost full by the time I got there, showing that it's a popular spot. Of course, I had to try the Sharentanmen, so my wife ordered the regular Sharentanmen and I went for the Sharentanmen with extra noodles in the Free Men Set. It took a bit of time to be served as there were many other customers waiting, but finally, the long-awaited Sharentanmen arrived. The sauce was piping hot, but the combination of vegetable umami and saltiness was exquisite, creating a gentle flavor. As you eat, the sweetness of the vegetables gradually comes through, which is really nice. The fried rice was moist and not dry, with the added bonus of shrimp in the Half Chahan. The Sharentanmen was just as delicious as I had imagined, and my wife was also very satisfied. As someone who sweats a lot, I look forward to coming back in the colder or cooler seasons. Sweet and savory simmered chicken. Wednesday. I wanted to try this. Everyone, there are a lot of hot noodles like ramen. It's so hot outside, amazing. I see, it's a sweet and savory sauce for fried chicken. Pepper-flavored fried chicken. Not very spicy. Delicious. But, it's a lot of food. The rice is still a lot. I ate it all and now I'm stuffed. Now I'm curious about the curry from the lunch next to me.

Town Chinese restaurant! I had some business at the medical school and had been curious about this place for a while, so I decided to visit. I was torn between the daily special and the free men set, but I ended up choosing the pork ramen. The noodles were topped with a sweet sauce that was delicious. The fried rice that came with it was more than I expected, so I'm pretty full now and can't move haha. I wanted a restaurant like this near my home~ Thank you for the meal.

The Sweet and Sour Pork was small and easy to eat, but it had more of a sour taste than depth or richness. The vegetables were cooked just right and delicious! Although there was dressing on the table, I wanted mayonnaise for the salad and when I asked for it hesitantly, the owner kindly provided it. Thank you very much! It was delicious. I would be happy if there was a Chinese restaurant nearby. I happened to stop by near the new office, and it was a great decision. It seems like the owner makes everything by themselves, so the service is a bit slow. I had the miso moyashi ramen. It was very carefully made, delicious, and beautifully presented. It had a lot of stir-fried bean sprouts in it. Next time, I want to try the Cantonese noodles that my friends were eating.

I visited my favorite Chitose-mae lunch spot in downtown Sapporo for the first time in years! I was saddened to find out that the sweet and sour simmered dish is only available on Wednesdays (but you can still have it for dinner). Also, the rule has changed so that you can only change the rice to fried rice at night. I recommend the Shanglen Tangmen + half fried rice set for 1000 yen! For my order, I chose the "Freemen Set" for 1,000 yen, which includes half a fried rice and a choice of one of four types of noodles: Gomoku, Cantonese, Roast, or Sha Ren. It took about 30 minutes for my order to arrive. Both the Cantonese noodles and the fried rice were lightly seasoned but delicious. Thursday is Liver and Garlic Chives Stir-Fry Set Meal day! It's a bit salty, but I always come here on Thursdays. The salad without dressing or mayonnaise helps alleviate any guilt. The pickles and green tea are also great. The Sharentan noodles are a staple and always delicious.

I visited "Sennichimae" for the first time on February 1st. I visited at 18:20 for dinner. I parked at a paid parking lot a little away because I had other errands to run. The entrance had the name "Sennichimae" in red. It is from Morizumi Seimen. When I think of Sennichimae, I think of Osaka, but is the owner from Osaka? Inside, there were 2 groups of customers, 4 people in total. In front was the kitchen, with counter seats on the right and table seats on the left. There were probably 2 staff members - the chef in the kitchen and maybe the wife on the floor. Since I was dining alone, I sat at the counter. The water was self-service. The menu had changed from green to yellow. The prices seemed unchanged, but there were more items on the menu. Perhaps they've introduced new menu items. I ordered the most popular item, the Char Siu Ramen for 750 yen. It's also written in kanji as "蝦仁湯麺," which I can't read. There were some new menu items listed, but also some items that seemed to be discontinued. The Crab Fried Rice for 850 yen and the General Tso's Chicken Fried Rice for 910 yen were disappointing to see. I had a revelation about Crab Fried Rice at a different restaurant, so it was disappointing. The dish was served on a black tray after about 17 minutes. If you have a time limit for lunch, you may need to be mindful of the time you visit. Personally, I'm not a fan of large-cut vegetables in ramen, but the vegetables in this ramen were small. The main ingredient was shrimp, which was quite large and had a nice crunchy texture when bitten into. There were quite a few shrimp in the toppings, even though they didn't stand out. The cabbage was cut small, which I liked. It also had carrots, wood ear mushrooms, seaweed, spinach, sliced leeks, and so on. The soup had a gentle salty flavor typical of ramen. It was quite hot, which was nice for the cold weather. The noodles were yellowish medium-thick straight noodles. They seemed to have a high water content and were quite delicious. I would like to try their set menu next time. Even while I was eating, there were 2 groups of customers who had reserved takeout, so they seemed quite busy. Thank you for the meal.
