はぴ☆ぱら なおりん
August 30, 2015, Sunday. Even though it's a Sunday, I had to work today... I finished around 4 pm, feeling quite tired myself, and my wife was also not feeling well. So, I decided to buy some ready-made food on the way home for dinner. I stopped by here to get some sushi from "Takarazushi." It's been a while since I had their sushi. I ordered 3 servings of take-out sushi for 1,300 yen each (excluding tax). They made it right away, so I did some other shopping (just buying some sweet potato shochu) and when I came back, the sushi was already ready! I was surprised to see that they included chawanmushi with the take-out sushi. And as a bonus, they gave us some homemade shiokara too!
When I got home, I immediately started eating. The price is cheap, so the ingredients are not high-end, but the sushi was surprisingly delicious! The sushi rice was really good. I was amazed at how tasty it was. My wife probably had this sushi for the first time, and she was also impressed by the deliciousness. The ingredients were fresh, and considering the price, it was a great sushi meal. The chawanmushi was unexpectedly hot, maybe just steamed? I'm not sure, but it was warm and the taste was really good. The ingredients were basic, but the flavor was excellent. And the shiokara was also delicious! It was a bit salty, but being homemade without any preservatives, the richness of the flavor stood out. Homemade shiokara is the best... I wonder if they sell this shiokara separately...
It was a bit of a luxurious weekend dinner, but it was very delicious. I'll definitely buy sushi from here again. It's great to have such delicious and affordable sushi nearby. Thank you for the meal!
[Original review of "Takarazushi" - A take-out and take-away sushi restaurant in Kurayama]
February 17, 2013. Today, I will introduce a new shop in Kurayama town! It's a take-out and take-away sushi restaurant that I have been neglecting since Sushi Tabana opened. Its name is "Takarazushi"! Takarazushi has been in business for about 20 years. When the shop first opened, they had 500 yen sushi, which was quite shocking. So, I used to go there quite often. At that time, the misconception was that it was a cheap sushi restaurant. But in reality, they offer delicious sushi at an affordable price. I realized that as I grew older (laughs). They have quite a variety of sushi, ranging from around 700 yen to 2,000 yen with about 5-6 different options.
Today, my wife is not home for dinner, so I reserved just one serving for take-out! The sushi I got today cost 1,600 yen. I asked for it to be packed in a plastic container for take-out. Normally, for delivery, they use a sushi tub. When I opened it, I was surprised! The ingredients were really good. At 1,600 yen, it would be considered the cheapest class in a regular sushi restaurant. However, the sushi at Takarazushi has top-quality ingredients that rival even the best sushi places!! Oh, I requested to change the kazunoko to maguro. Eating it, I was convinced. The ingredients, the way it's made, and the sushi rice were all excellent. It's a well-balanced sushi! With my appetite, one serving of this sushi won't be enough to fill me up, but... I have other food prepared, so it's okay (laughs). I had a very delicious sushi meal!! Thank you for the meal!
