Shrimp and keema curry. It's not like I'm about to catch a flight or pick someone up, but rather spending my day off at the airport for food. I came here again today haha. I won't forget that they kept the restaurant open throughout the pandemic. It looks like the snow is finally melting. It's getting crowded during the weekday lunch hours. I hope it gets even busier. As I think about these things, I take a spoonful. This is a high-quality curry with a great taste. It's really delicious here.

Around 12:30 on Saturday, I visited before takeoff. I felt like eating curry, so I came to this place in the food court. There was no line, and they had a sign saying it would take about 15 minutes for the order to be ready. It's convenient to be able to estimate the time before departure. I chose the second most popular dish, Chicken and Bean Curry for 1430 yen including tax. You can pay with electronic money or card. After paying, I was given a buzzer and waited at my seat. You can drink free water in the food court, and it was really cold and delicious. That's Hokkaido for you. I was called in less than 15 minutes, and went to pick up my order. The presentation was quite nice. The bean curry had no spiciness, with the sweetness of the beans and cabbage being the main flavors. The chicken curry had two large pieces of chicken, giving it a satisfying texture. It had a little spiciness, but it was a type of curry that anyone could eat, with a moderate amount of spices. The rice was white rice with two types of achaar, which was a nice palate cleanser. There was a small dish of yogurt in the back, which I thought was perfect as a dessert. The prices in the food court may be a bit high, but for an airport, it's reasonable. I think I would have been even more satisfied if there was a bit more rice. Hokkaido is known for soup curry, so it was unexpectedly nice to have such a spicy curry in the food court. It's a type of curry that anyone can enjoy, and for those who have tried ramen, seafood, Genghis Khan, etc. while sightseeing, I think it would be nice to have this curry to cleanse your body before heading home. Thank you for the meal.

At the end of the trip, I had dinner at the airport. Instead of soup curry, I had a hearty spiced curry. I ordered a combination of keema and shrimp curry. The shrimp curry was based on green curry and was quite spicy, which paired well with beer. The keema curry was also delicious and easy to eat with a rich flavor.

When returning to Tokyo from Asahikawa Airport, I had dinner at the airport food court. Unlike New Chitose Airport, it's convenient for larger groups because you can choose different types of cuisine and eat together. I ordered the shrimp and keema curry combo, which is the spiciest item on the menu. It cost over 1,500 yen, which is a bit pricey for this food court, but the shrimp curry was made with two large head-on shrimp in a green curry sauce. It wasn't extremely spicy, but had a nice level of heat. The dish was colorful and delicious.

This place is different from other food court stores, as they sell unique souvenirs along with food items. I was intrigued by the yellow sign, which seemed to indicate Sri Lankan curry. I ordered a curry dish with yellow turmeric-infused curry and stew-like vegetable curry. There were three levels of spiciness available, and I chose medium, but it was actually quite mild. The colors were vibrant, and the portion of rice was small, which I ordered because I was also interested in the fried food set and ramen. The fried food set included sweet potatoes, potatoes, and French fries, along with chicken nuggets sold at the baseball stadium, plus two alcoholic drinks, which was a great deal. The sweet potatoes were the most popular and indeed delicious. I ended up feeling full and a bit tipsy, and slept soundly on the flight back.

I feel like I visit Asahikawa Airport almost every time because they have a great selection of delicious sake. Finally, after the pandemic, all the shops in the food court have reopened. It's been a while. We purchased various items from different places for our final feast. Here are some of the items we had: - A tasting set of 3 types of Asahikawa sake - Sake from local farmers - "Kaitaku Damashii" sake - Fried saury - Hokkaido potato fries - Hokkaido black soybeans You may not be familiar with Hokkaido's fried saury, but it's a popular dish in the region. You can even find fresh saury at supermarkets. The saury and the potato fries were deliciously prepared with no shortcuts, worth the wait. Even though it's a curry shop, I think I've only had curry once. Of course, the curry was delicious, and my niece also loves it at the main branch. I apologize for forgetting to take many photos, as I was busy taking care of the children.

I used it during my trip to Asahikawa. I visited the restaurant while waiting for the private bus from Asahikawa Airport to the central area of Asahikawa Station. I ordered the Ma Po Keema Curry with Ebi Curry (most popular)→ The restaurant was located in the airport food court, so I didn't have high expectations until I tried the food. Both types of curry were spicy. I had to drink water several times due to the different levels of spiciness. The Ebi Curry was especially delicious. It had a milder flavor compared to the Ma Po Keema Curry. The shrimp broth added a unique touch, making it different from regular spicy curry. Because of the variety, I was able to enjoy it without getting tired of the flavors. I highly recommend it to those who use Asahikawa Airport as a starting or ending point for their trip!

Having dinner at Asahikawa Airport. I thought it would be healthier than ramen, so I chose Mapo Tofu Keema, but I didn't really like it. I should have gone with Chicken Curry instead. I like Mapo Tofu when it's smooth, but the spice made it have a crunchy texture which I don't prefer, but the taste is still delicious.

I had some time before my departure at Asahikawa Airport, so I headed to the food court. I wish there was an izakaya or something similar since I had quite a bit of time to spare. I spent half of my excess time at a massage parlor that was available, and then I tried the curry here. They had a menu item called Mapo Dry Curry, which piqued my interest. I ordered it as a side dish with chicken curry. Hmm, maybe the mapo part wasn't necessary. Or perhaps it would be better if it were spicier, so I could enjoy the combination of the curry's spiciness and the numbing sensation of mapo. Thank you for the meal.

Inside the airport food court, there is a curry shop that seems to be putting more focus on appetizers. The most prominent item on the menu was the "Great Value Set," which includes 2 alcoholic drinks and Hokkaido fried potatoes and other appetizers. Priced at 1570 yen, it offers a good deal even for an airport. The alcoholic drinks available include beer, highball, and sour. The freshly fried potatoes paired well with the cold beer.

As the final flight to Haneda from Asahikawa Airport was delayed by 30 minutes, I decided to have dinner at the airport since I arrived early. There are many good restaurants to choose from, and this time I went to No-ca-ya for the first time. - What I ordered: Mixed Curry with Mapo Keema x Shrimp Curry Although Chicken Curry and Bean Vegetable Curry were also tempting, I decided to go with the most popular combination. Even through my mask, I could smell the wonderful aroma of the spices. With each bite, the flavors deepened and the spices layered on top of each other, making it more and more delicious. The Shrimp Curry was actually a Green Curry, and I really liked it. It was spicy, so the yogurt on the side was much appreciated! I think I will choose No-ca-ya again next time I visit Asahikawa Airport. Thank you for the delicious meal.

While visiting Asahikawa Airport, I had lunch at "Noka-ya Asahikawa Airport Store" located inside the 2nd floor food court "Soraichi". I ordered the popular mixed curry dish "Keema x Ebi Curry for 1,570 yen". The Keema curry had plenty of minced meat with a well-balanced and flavorful spice. The Ebi curry had two large shrimp and a mild green curry flavor with herbs adding a nice touch. Being able to enjoy two different curry flavors at the same time is the highlight of mixed curry dishes. I was very satisfied with the high-quality curries.

This is a review of the popular curry restaurant "Nokaoya Honten" located in Higashi-Asahikawa, Asahikawa City. I visited the Asahikawa Airport branch after enjoying curry at the main store. It had been a while since I visited Asahikawa Airport, but the food court "Soraichi" is very clean and has popular shops. The "Mixed Curry" which combines two types of curry is popular here. I ordered the "Keema x Shrimp Curry" (1,570 yen) and an "Iced Latte" (450 yen). The Keema x Shrimp Curry is the number one popular curry at this restaurant. The Keema curry is full of minced meat and has a good level of spiciness. The sautéed onions are plentiful, adding a hint of sweetness to the spiciness. The Shrimp Curry is a coconut-flavored green curry. It comes with two plump shrimp, bamboo shoots, and enoki mushrooms. The aroma is delightful and the curry is delicious. This restaurant is run by farmers, and the rice is delicious. The accompanying achar is also tasty. The level of the curry here is very high. The Iced Latte is an original coffee produced by the popular "THE old CAFE." It has a rich coffee aroma with plenty of milk. It's perfect after having curry. Apart from curry, the "Pho" is also popular here. I would like to try it next time!

A restaurant located in Asahikawa Airport in Hokkaido. It is one of the stores in the food court. I used it because my flight was delayed. It is a curry and coffee shop. This time, I had the chicken curry and pho set. I was surprised to see pho in addition to coffee. The curry was spicy and delicious. The pho was also good, something you don't often find around here.

Visited "Noukaya Asahikawa Airport Store" in Asahikawa City. It is a curry and coffee specialty shop located in the food court of Asahikawa Airport. The signboard in yellow gives a sense of style, offering "Spice Curry made by farmers." The concept is to have a combination of two curries with rice in the middle. The curry seems to be spice-based and looks intricately prepared. Ordered "Chicken x Keema Curry" (1430 yen tax included) and paid with a credit card. After a short wait, a buzzer sounded to indicate the completion of the order. Received the curry and sat down to eat. The rice was topped with plenty of carrots and green vegetables like coriander, making it visually vibrant. Started with the chicken curry, which had a good balance of spiciness and umami from the well-cooked onions. Then tried the keema curry, which was rich in minced meat and also had a spicy kick. The pickles on the side were delicious too. Overall, it was a high-quality curry with thoughtful details. Finished the meal quickly as it was so tasty. Hokkaido, known for its curry, has many great restaurants, and this one is highly recommended. The food court at Asahikawa Airport seems to offer a variety of delicious options. Will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

It's only a 15-minute bus ride from Asahikawa to Biei, but unfortunately, I missed the connection with my flight and only had 5 minutes between my arrival time and the bus departure time. If I miss it, I'll have to wait for over an hour. Since my flight was delayed, I ended up waiting at the airport. I decided to have dinner at the usual curry shop. I ordered the vegetable curry for 850 yen. The seasoning was very mild but still had a hint of spices. It was loaded with homegrown soybeans. Considering it was at the airport, the price seemed fair. Since it was a food court style, I brought my own highball from the convenience store.

- Orange-scented Eggplant Keema Curry (1,000 yen) Visited Asahikawa during Silver Week on 3/19 (1/7). Lunch on the first day. Had a late lunch at the food court in Asahikawa Airport. There weren't many seats, so it was very crowded on the way back with 3 departing flights overlapping. There were various options like Asahikawa Ramen and Teppanyaki. I was torn between ramen but ended up choosing curry. The Nokoya Farm is a rice farming family with two locations in Asahikawa city and Asahikawa Airport. It seemed to be more on the whole spice side, so I chose the keema curry. The curry arrived at 13:34. It had a clean presentation that you might expect in Shimokitazawa. - The keema was slightly wet and moist. - It contained cardamom, mustard seeds, and other spices. It was not too intense, making it easy to eat. - The finishing touch of fenugreek was also fragrant. Vegetables like eggplant and burdock were plentiful. The texture of the burdock paired well with the whole spices. The rice portion seemed fine, but with the generous amount of gravy in the keema, I ended up running out of rice. For 1,000 yen at the airport, this curry was a delightful surprise. A good start to the trip. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

At the food court in Asahikawa Airport, I chose the Dashi-scented Eggplant Keema Curry for 1000 yen and a side of Potato Fries for 380 yen. I was torn between this and the Red Curry with Shrimp, and now I wish I had chosen the latter. The minced meat in the curry is quite oily, making it too heavy for my stomach before my flight. The egg salad and pickled purple cabbage served with it didn't help either.

I tried a restaurant in the food court on the second floor departure lobby of Asahikawa Airport for the first time. I ordered the "Potato and Tomato Butter Chicken Curry" for 950 yen, which was advertised as a spicy curry. The curry didn't have much spice flavor. Perhaps it was because the temperature was not hot enough. It was a hot day, so it was okay, but it would have been better if it was a bit hotter. The rich taste of butter chicken was also not very strong. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived at 12:30 on a weekday. Located inside the food court "Soraichi" on the 2nd floor of Asahikawa Airport. It was crowded during lunchtime. Without any prior information, I chose the Spice Curry here. Later I found out that the main store is in Kamishinai Village. There was one staff member in the hall, and the kitchen was not visible. This time, I ordered the "Mikan-scented Eggplant Keema Curry" (1000 yen). I was given a stylish call receiver in the shape of a disc and sat at an available seat. I received the call in about 3 minutes, very fast. The dish came with a salad and carrot and turnip achar. It was full of minced meat, spicy, and delicious!! It had just the right level of spiciness for those who like it medium. As for the mikan (mandarin orange), I couldn't really taste it (laughs). There were plenty of eggplants! The turnip achar had a good texture and was tasty! The salad had an orange-colored dressing. It was satisfyingly delicious. However, the rice was a bit lacking... It might be enough for women, but for me, it felt like I was only 70% full. I ended up snacking at a highway rest area later (laughs). It might be better to get the large rice portion (+100 yen). If I have the chance, I would like to try the "Butter Chicken Curry with Potatoes and Tomatoes" next time.

"I sometimes go to Solamachi at Asahikawa Airport just for a meal. This time, I was in curry mode, so I went to Nokoya. Although there were other restaurants that I haven't tried, I was drawn to the Butter Chicken Curry. So, I ordered the 'Potato and Tomato Butter Chicken Curry' along with the 'Eggplant Keema Curry with Orange Flavor'. The dishes didn't have as many vegetables as shown in the photos, but the Butter Curry had large pieces of chicken with a rich flavor, which was delicious. The Keema Curry with eggplant was also tasty with plenty of eggplant in it. If there was one thing I would suggest, it would be the option to adjust the spiciness level, as I prefer it to be spicier."
