The other day, I went on a drive to Shakotan!! Last year, I passed by without knowing, but this year I made sure to stop by (^_^)v They sell a limited edition sake called "Kamiizuru" only in the Shakotan area!! It's definitely more cost-effective to get the one-liter bottle, but since it's a matter of taste, you won't know if you like it until you try it... Well, even if it's not to my liking, I'll drink it all anyway (laughs). So, I bought the smaller 720ml bottle (excluding tax 1139 yen) and went home to have a drink \(^-^)/ It's quite light, with a pale yellow color and a sake meter value of +5, so it should be "dry," but it felt slightly sweet to me because it had some thickness. The alcohol content is 14%. I thought it would become even sweeter if I warmed it up, so I put ice in it and had it on the rocks, which made it easy to drink and I could keep going (*´∀`)♪ In the end, I drank it all in one night (;・∀・) I think I'll buy the one-liter bottle next time. Thank you, "Bikuni-ten" shop♪

After arriving at the U.S. Tourism House in July 2019, I took a stroll around the neighborhood, visiting places like Yamashime Banya and the Bikuni Fishing Port before heading to Seicomart Bikuni store. Here, you can purchase the limited edition sake "Kamikazuru" from Shakarimura, Yobetsu Town in Shakotan, which was first created by Shirakata Shuzo in 1891. It is now being produced by Tanaka Shuzo in Otaru. I also bought some Otaru-produced Bafun Uni when I visited Shin-Minato Market in Otaru later on, and enjoyed it together with the "Kamikazuru" sake. The rich and sweet flavor of the Otaru Bafun Uni paired perfectly with the "Kamikazuru" sake. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

This time, the final review in Hokkaido is for my beloved Seicomart. Whenever I visit Hokkaido, I always make sure to stop by Seicomart, the main store in Sapporo, to buy drinks in PET bottles or some snacks. This time, I visited two stores including the Biei store in Hokkaido.
- Hokkaido Melon Soft Serve for 185 yen: This is a must-have during this season. It is made from red-fleshed melons that are not suitable for sale due to their odd shapes, but they are transformed into delicious soft serve ice cream.
- Japan 100 Famous Water "Kyogoku no Meisui" for 98 yen: I always buy this from Seicomart's original brand.
- "Ebenshina no Junsei Shitate" Green Tea & Brown Rice Tea for 98 yen each.
- Hokkaido Butter Cookies for 99 yen.
And this time, they surprised me once again. From July, plastic bags are charged for at other stores, but Seicomart continues to provide them for free. This is because they have switched to using bags made from 30% biomass materials from July 1st. Other major convenience stores should follow suit from an environmental perspective.
I admire Seicomart for their efforts. They have 1,078 stores in Hokkaido, covering 179 cities and towns, with a population coverage rate of 99.8%. They are truly the lifeline of Hokkaido. I can only visit Hokkaido 1-2 times a year, so I can never conquer all their stores, but I will do my best to visit as many as I can. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to American Seikoma, the "Kami no Itadzuru" 300ml for 500 yen is a must-try. It has a sweet taste, perfect for everyday drinking. I enjoyed it with chilled tofu topped with sansho pepper.
