Located next to FLOCK Ito Shokudo on Ishiyama Street, you'll find Torinos. This space features various food trucks that change daily, with Torinos being a popular almost permanent fixture. I ordered a dessert crepe, which was filled with gelato. I chose the black sesame walnut and shiratama flavors. The chewy crepe was delicious, and the combination of gelato and shiratama was perfect. It seems that different food trucks appear in this space, with more on weekends. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more!

It's a gelato and crepe shop. The concept seems to be moving like a bird. The gelato comes in a variety of flavors and tastes gentle. The crepe itself is delicious too. The combinations of fillings in the crepe are very unique and satisfying. I hope they come to other districts too!

I went to Garden Festa Hokkaido 2022! It was bustling with customers every day, and it's proud that a large-scale event was held in Eniwa! The flowers were beautiful... At this event, various shops from different places were set up, and one that caught my eye was "Trinos." They operate as a kitchen car and have a fixed address, so they meet the registration criteria. This time, I ordered the "Triple (¥550)" with Kiwi & Banana, Almond Praline, and Melon (¥100) for a total of (¥650). Before eating, I took a photo at the photo spot! The lovebirds and cockatiels were adorable... The Kiwi & Banana had a perfect blend of acidity and gentle sweetness! The refreshing kiwi and ripe banana are surprisingly delicious together! The Almond Praline combines a nutty flavor with a light sweetness and bitterness, enhancing the caramel-like bitterness. It balances the bitterness with sweetness, making it a flavor that even children can enjoy. The melon was not the tasteless kind sold cheaply but had a flavor close to a ripe melon, which was surprising! It had a fresh aroma and juicy sweetness, suggesting the use of high-quality melon. Even with the additional ¥100, the deliciousness was worth more! After trying a 2-flavor gelato for ¥750 in Sapporo, the 3 flavors for ¥550 felt inexpensive. Is it just my imagination? (laughs) I rarely visit Minami Ward, so I'm happy to explore it through events like this! Thank you for the meal.

Located in Minami Ward, Ishiyama is the base for this review. On this day, I purchased Gelato Double (Milk/Strawberry) for 450 yen and Churros for 300 yen from a chicken car at a supermarket in Sapporo. Suzume-chan was registered as the owner, showing their excellence. The establishment is run by a family, with the wife handling the service on Sundays. The husband prepares the food, while their child helps with customer service, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. The husband even mentioned, "There's a photo spot available." The strawberry gelato had a beautiful color similar to mentaiko, with a perfect balance of the strawberry's acidity and the milk's sweetness, creating a deliciously chewy texture. The churros were warm and crispy. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

On the way back from Jozankei Onsen, I saw a sparkling silver trailer on Ishiyama Street. It turned out to be a gelato shop with 11 flavors available that day, including 2 premium options. The normal gelato is 400 yen for a single scoop and 450 yen for a double, while the premium gelato is 500 yen for a single scoop and 550 yen for a double (premium + normal). I chose "Milk" and "Kiwi & Banana" for my double scoop and enjoyed it in their on-site seating area decorated with bird paintings. The Milk flavor was rich and tasted like sweet hot milk in gelato form, very comforting. The Kiwi & Banana flavor had a perfect balance of kiwi's tanginess and banana's sweetness, really delicious. I love it! The gelato shop, Torinos, seems to do a lot of pop-up events, so be sure to check their social media for updates and go try their gelato. Thank you, Torinos, for the treat!
