I went to Hakkuma town with my friend to see my nephew's face. We visited a delicious okonomiyaki restaurant that we had tried before. This time, I ordered the Mt. Unzen Bay Tamago with Sea Chicken and Cheese toppings (two toppings for free). This restaurant allows customers to either cook the okonomiyaki themselves or have the staff cook it for them, which is great. Last time, I cooked it myself, so this time I had the staff cook it for me. My friend decided to cook his own. Since this restaurant is a regular spot for my relatives, we were served complimentary oolong tea. I couldn't help but laugh when comparing the skilled staff member's cooking technique with my friend's clumsy one, and my friend caught me laughing and got a little upset. Eventually, the okonomiyaki was ready. It was delicious. It was even better than the six okonomiyaki restaurants we tried during our 2-night, 3-day stay in Osaka. The perfect balance of sauce, the delicious aroma of bonito flakes, and the exquisite combination of pork and cheese. I couldn't really taste the sea chicken, but it was still amazing. It goes well with beer. I will definitely come back again. Tomorrow, we will visit Harvester Hakkuma.
