Located in the Dotonbori area of Osaka, this restaurant is known for being difficult to get a reservation for lunch. Luckily, I was invited for dinner and visited for the first time. It was fully booked on a Thursday night at 8 pm, showing how popular it is. We were seated at the counter, where we could watch the open kitchen as we enjoyed our meal. We had sparkling wine, appetizers, soup, fish dish, meat dish, and finished with dessert. When we received the bill, we were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was for two people. It's no wonder why it's hard to get a reservation. I definitely want to visit for lunch next time.

Hello everyone in September 2023! It's a tradition for me to have dinner at Cattle La Pan and I can't function properly without seeing Chef Aoki's face. Due to COVID, I haven't been able to come several times but finally I made it! The French cuisine at Aoki French Dining is excellent. Aoki Chef's DNA is passed down to the young chefs who run the restaurant. The French deli run by Aoki Chef's spirit of popular French cuisine is wonderful. Thank you for the delicious meal! ❤️

Today, I had dinner with my close friends. Since I had the day off from work, I went to a new restaurant from my home. It was a bit of a walk from the station, so even after arriving, I couldn't stop sweating for a while haha. The chef did a great job! It's so hot, isn't it? Hundred famous restaurants. Lunch reservations are full for 1-2 months in advance. It seems that the ones that appear on Instagram are different (branch?) restaurants, so be careful as the information can get mixed up and confusing. I thought that reservations were not available when I saw Instagram, so I went to line up before opening, but it turns out that lunch at this restaurant is by reservation only, so I was confused. However, I was able to make a reservation for a later date, so it turned out okay. The steak lunch evokes a nostalgic feeling reminiscent of the 90s. I heard that it has been around for over 20 years, and I understand why. The taste is loved by a wide range of people. In Hiroshima, (I am a reviewer from Hiroshima) there used to be a teishokuya called "Issunboshi" near Hiroshima University of Economics, and I loved the steak teishoku there like crazy, but it was the nostalgia that reminded me of that Issunboshi steak teishoku. (Sorry for the explanation that only those who know will understand) I ordered 200g of meat and a little rice. It was just right for me.

I made a reservation for lunch at 12:50 on a regular day. I had previously been to Cattolapan in Sannomiya for dinner, but this was my first time here. For lunch, I chose the steak lunch, which came in three sizes: 250g for 850 yen, 300g for 1100 yen, and 400g for 1350 yen. I selected two out of the four sauce options: salt and pepper, wasabi soy sauce, ponzu, and miso. I ordered the 300g steak with wasabi soy sauce and miso. The meat was cut into easy-to-eat pieces. I was a bit worried about finishing the 300g portion, but I polished it off without any problems. The meat was tender, and both the wasabi sauce and miso were delicious. Considering the price, taste, and great service, I was very impressed. I would like to visit again for dinner next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The steak lunch options were 250g for 850 yen, 300g for 1100 yen, and 400g for 1350 yen. I chose the 400g option, which came with soup, salad, and rice, all for a very reasonable price. You can choose from four different sauces: salt and pepper, ponzu, sansho soy sauce, and miso. I went with miso and salt and pepper. The salt and pepper sauce was light and simple, while the miso sauce was rich and flavorful. I finished the 400g steak in no time. It was a delicious meal.

Today, I went to lunch with my female coworkers. One of them was feeling a bit frustrated and wanted to eat a lot of meat to let off steam. I didn't have much frustration to let out, but I thought eating plenty of meat would help me survive this heat. We made a reservation for 13:20 and visited a restaurant located a 5-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station, on the 2nd floor of a building. The place was fully booked even on this day, and we were seated at a table. The lunch menu consisted of steak lunches only, with the option to choose the amount of meat: 200g (850 yen), 300g (1,100 yen), or 400g (1,350 yen). I opted for the usual 300g portion. The cooked meat was served pre-sliced. You could choose two seasonings from salt and pepper, wasabi soy sauce, ponzu sauce, and miso. I decided to try the miso sauce this time, which my coworkers had praised before. I ordered the Steak Lunch 300g (1,100 yen tax included), which came with soup and rice. I started with the simple salt and pepper seasoning, which was delicious. It was light and I felt like I could eat endless amounts. Then, I tried the miso sauce for the first time. The rich red miso sauce went really well with the meat and made the rice disappear quickly. The combination of meat and miso was interesting, but I personally preferred the usual salt and pepper or ponzu sauce as the miso was a bit too strong for me. After a satisfying meat charge, I felt ready to face the scorching heat of summer.

We went with 4 people and everyone, including a first-time visitor, praised the food as delicious from start to finish. The appetizers were adjusted for someone who is not a fan of raw food. Even though we were quite full by the time we had fish dishes, we still enjoyed the dessert, especially the first fig of the year. We definitely want to visit this restaurant again. Catorlapan is famous for its lunch, but their dinner course is also very delicious and reasonably priced. The set course menu includes: - Appetizer: The scone sandwich in the appetizer was surprisingly delicious, with tasty pate inside. - Soup: The cold onion soup was amazing, I wished there was more to drink. - Fish: The white fish poêlé was delicious, and you can enjoy various flavors with the sauce. - Meat: The low-temperature cooked roast pork was incredibly tender and juicy, paired perfectly with mushroom sauce. - Dessert: The dessert consisted of a vanilla bean ice cream with figs, passion fruit, watermelon, pineapple, and kiwi, topped with panna cotta. My friend made a reservation for me, and I went for lunch. It was my first time, so I ordered 200g of meat. I could choose from 4 sauces, and I chose salt and pepper and ponzu. The soup came quickly... a gentle soup with seaweed and egg. The salad had a refreshing French dressing. The meat was cut into bite-sized pieces, making it easy to eat. It was tender and even more delicious than I imagined. I might have been able to handle 300g! I was surprised by the price of the lunch, but the chef and staff greeted me and saw me off properly... It was wonderful. I will definitely come back for dinner. Thank you for the meal. ❤️

It's been a while since I visited Cattleya Pan! This was actually my second or third time here. The first time I came was because a friend recommended it to me, and I'm glad I found out about this place. I went with my friends for dinner. The portions here are really big. I got so full just from the appetizers, haha. But I really love the appetizer platter here! It has a variety of options that girls would definitely enjoy. It's different every time, which makes it fun. The meal includes appetizers, soup, fish dish, meat dish, and dessert. The portions are so big that even men would get full. It was delicious! ♫

We visited for the first time to celebrate a birthday, and we were extremely satisfied. The quality of the food was so high and the prices were so low that it seemed like a mistake. We were charmed by delicious dishes from start to finish. Please note that they only start serving at 6:30 pm on Saturdays, so be careful not to arrive too early or too late if you are visiting for the first time.

Visited the restaurant with 5 people including clients. Reserved a 5500 yen course (drinks not included) from the website about a month ago. Started with beer and had about 3 bottles of wine. Every dish was excellent in presentation and taste. The flavors were a bit rich. Forgot to take a photo of the meat, but the portion size and cost performance were amazing. Definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

I went to this restaurant with two friends who work in the same Nakanoshima area. We chose the Basic Course which included fish and meat as the main dishes, 7 appetizers, dessert, and a total of 5 dishes. We were quite full by the end, as all the dishes were really delicious! I regret not knowing in advance that the chef, Aoki, is well-known - he was very friendly and kind. My friend made the reservation this time, but I would like to try their famous lunch menu sometime. Today, I went to the office for the first time in a while. I had some work to do, but more importantly, I had lunch with the girls from work at Cattle & Prawn (*≧∀≦*). We arrived at the restaurant at our reserved time of 11:45. The restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk from Kitashinchi Station, on the 2nd floor of the Diveil building next to ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel. The interior of the restaurant has a counter with about 15 seats surrounding the kitchen, as well as three tables for four people each. We were seated at the counter. The lunch menu only offers a steak lunch. You can choose the amount of meat from 200g (¥850), 300g (¥1100), or 400g (¥1350). Even though almost all the customers that day were women, almost everyone chose the 300g option. We also all chose the 300g option (*≧∀≦*). Once the steak was cooked, sliced, and plated, we could choose two seasonings from the following: salt and pepper, wasabi soy sauce, ponzu sauce, or miso. I asked for a combination of wasabi ponzu sauce and salt and pepper (*´∀`)♪. The 300g steak lunch (¥1,100 including tax) had lean meat with almost no fat, so I finished it in no time. As I ate, I thought I should have ordered the 400g portion each time (*≧艸≦). Personally, I really enjoyed the combination of seasonings I chose (*≧∀≦*). I would have preferred a bit more rice to balance out the meal and fill me up just right (*´Д`*). I have never tried the miso seasoning, but the girls at work seemed to really like it. I'm curious to try it, but I can't give up the ponzu sauce. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Wednesday evening, suddenly received a LINE message! "My reservation at Cattolapan was canceled last minute~!" A distress call from a close friend (≧◇≦) Isn't the probability of last-minute cancellations high these days... (laughs) I'm not heartless enough to abandon a friend in need. After sending a message to my family saying "I'll eat out," I headed to Kitashinchi. Sitting alone at the counter in the back, the melancholic middle-aged man seemed lonely. Or rather, I was itching to hear about his day's events (≧◇≦) Let's start with a toast with beer♪ Since it's my friend's treat for the day, we couldn't stop laughing♪ "Champagne, please bring a bottle♪" I ordered from Chef Aoki. ALBERT ET FILS BRUT For the first drink, the chef poured it himself. Come to think of it, it's been a while since I've been to this restaurant. It's as popular as ever, with it being full by 6:30 PM. ■ Assorted Appetizers - Red Shrimp - New Onion Mousse - Scone and Meat Sandwich - Amberjack Marinade - Shallot Mussels - Cheese Mousse - Mushroom and Escargot Now, who was the last-minute cancellation companion? And why were they canceled on? I asked questions that I couldn't help but ask, and my friend explained the documentary of the day honestly, "Really! That's it!" (≧◇≦) I couldn't stop laughing as I listened. To protect my friend's honor, I decided to take the content to my grave. The soup was Lobster Bisque, a favorite of my friend. It certainly had a rich flavor packed with the mildness of the shrimp, truly delicious. The fish dish was Mackerel, a seasonal dish from spring to early summer. Indeed, the sauce is essential in French cuisine, and this dish made it clear how important it is, delicious! The meat dish was Beef and Foie Gras Rossini, which I hadn't eaten in a while. It was rich, and the red wine went well with it. In terms of portion size, this was enough to send down my stomach somehow. Now, the grand finale was the usual dessert, a plate full of vanilla ice cream and seasonal fruits, unquestionably delicious. The vanilla ice cream contained a considerable amount of vanilla beans, which made me, as the chief of the Japan Vanilla Bean Party, very happy♪ I think I consumed over 1,500 kcal this day. This is how we end up getting lifestyle diseases (≧▽≦) Beer - Champagne (bottle) - Red Wine We enjoyed Aoki Shokudo as usual this day. (My friend and I affectionately call it that) Now, I wonder how much my friend paid this day. Well, let's find out at the second place♪ Thanks for the meal.
