It's rare for me to finish work at lunchtime, and everywhere I go to have lunch is crowded... It's lunchtime, so I guess that's normal, but I start to lose hope. Even a certain popular curry shop known for its watery curry has a line of salarymen. Another shop with two kanji characters also has salarymen... Feeling discouraged, I finally spot a place that seems like I can get in! So I decided to visit Tenma-san. I was planning to order the roux curry, but as I looked at the menu, I felt like having soup, so I ordered the Bone-in Chicken and Plenty of Vegetable Soup Curry for 1300 yen, spiciness level 5. You can choose between 230g and 300g of rice for free, so I chose 230g. In the past, I would have chosen 300g without hesitation, but as I've gotten older, I can't eat as much... When the dish arrived, I was surprised to see the soup bubbling in the plate! The chicken was bone-in and tender. The vegetables didn't feel like they were deep-fried in oil, but they were easy to eat. The vegetables included carrots, lotus root, eggplant, potatoes, okra, asparagus, paprika, pumpkin, and broccoli. The soup itself had a mild spice flavor, but it was not bland, and I enjoyed drinking it all up. Next time, I want to try the pork cutlet curry, or maybe the roux curry or keema curry. Thank you for the meal! It was delicious!
