Welcome.---------- November 2018 ----------A long-established hot spring inn located along the R230 route|o| °д°)ノHelloThe big cars are guided to the parking lot and passenger cars are left behind, but you can put them in the designated parking spot. Now head to the reception. There is a souvenir corner behind, and the manju (sweet bun) seems to be the popular choice. There are both Japanese and Western style rooms, but since there are four of us, we reserved a Japanese room for a cozy sleep. A welcome manju is placed in the room, signaling the start of the feast. For breakfast and dinner, we head to the underground restaurant with a free-flow drink option that we reserved, so we can drink for a full 90 minutes. It's self-service, but if you don't know how to pour, the staff will help you (= ´∀´)ノ凵゛We were guided to an early time slot, and later found out that later on, there were Chinese tourists who were a bit rude, but the staff prioritized Japanese guests. Sashimi → amberjack, lake smelt, sweet shrimpTempura → shrimp, maitake mushrooms, casbesuThe smoked herring was a nice snack with a good portion of the fillet. There was also cheese fondue which was great with bread. The spicy grilled Sapporo yellow and Four Elements pork had a sweet fat belly and a good mix of flavors. The Sapporo yellow was sweet and the spices were just right. I had about 6 pieces of aged beef cooked rare, and it was seasoned well enough that I didn't need any sauce. The smoked cheese was a perfect match for wine. The fried potatoes and zangi were like snacks from a children's stall, but they were not lacking in quality. The carpaccio of stone bream, the stir-fried four treasures beef, and oysters were all delicious from the seasoning to the ingredients. The spicy stir-fried eggs and wood ear mushrooms were also tasty. The occasional Chinese dishes were irresistible. There were various types of dishes, probably around 90 in total. The place was spacious and scattered, with the crowded spots being the sashimi and steak corners. We ate a lot, drank a lot, and there was even ramen for dessert, but the noodles and soup didn't quite match, leaving a somewhat awkward aftertaste. The staff were mostly young, with many Koreans and Chinese. The level of both the food and service was high ===========
