I stopped by Patisserie Noire on my way to MUJI, which is located in the former Coop Sapporo store nearby, after hearing about it from a friend as a place for slightly fancy gift shopping. I picked up a few items that caught my eye, brought them home in a simple cooler bag, and enjoyed them the next day. The strawberry shortcake was a classic choice, with a fluffy sponge, gentle sweetness of the cream, and tangy summer strawberries - it was delicious. The Sakura Madeline was a limited edition item with a nice touch of salted cherry blossom flavor. The Frian Orange was a slice of orange on a financiers, and the Leaf Pie had a crispy texture with a sugary coating. The service by the lady at the shop was straightforward and pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience at this modern-style confectionery shop in Shizunai. Thank you for the treat!

I found a cake shop that I hadn't been to before and decided to try it out. It was located next to an animal hospital and had a small parking lot for 2-3 cars. The cakes were small and cute, with prices ranging from 300 to 500 yen. I tried the Pear Tart for 350 yen, but was disappointed as it had very little pear and was mostly tart and sponge, too sweet and lacked the pear flavor. I should have chosen a different cake. However, the Shortcake for 390 yen was delicious (I bought it as a gift for my husband). Thank you for the meal!

I bought a chouquette for myself... It's delicious. Mother's Day set for 1500 yen, baked goods set for 1500 yen, almond chouquette for 550 yen, coconut chouquette for 550 yen, and more.
