The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, and the kalbi, tongue, and sagari were incredibly delicious! However, the hormone had a bit of a strong smell. Dogs were allowed inside, and there were even some dogs sitting in the tatami area. People with dog allergies or concerns about hygiene should be cautious!

On the third night of my 3-day trip to Hokkaido, we went to a deep, atmospheric restaurant where two young girls insisted on having yakiniku for dinner. The place was bustling due to Golden Week, with the owner running around serving and cleaning up. We weren't in a rush, so it was fine. We carefully looked over the menu and chose beef tongue for 800 yen, raw lamb for 800 yen, beef skirt for 800 yen, pork belly for 600 yen, miso offal for 500 yen, sausage for 800 yen, chicken thigh for 600 yen, and cold noodles for 850 yen. The charcoal smoke made the interior greasy and old-fashioned, typical of a traditional yakiniku restaurant. The raw lamb was a bit pricey at 800 yen for 3 slices, but it was delicious. The chicken thigh was also good. Looking around, it seemed like many people related to the drama "From the North Country" such as Kunie Tanaka and Hideaki Ito had visited the restaurant. Furano town had a lot of tourist facilities and souvenirs related to the drama, showing the significant impact it had on the town. Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Heiwaen" in Furano City. It is a long-established yakiniku restaurant in Furano City. I made a reservation by phone in advance. The restaurant has a yellow roof with green letters that say "Yakiniku Restaurant Heiwaen." The atmosphere is nice. I was led to a tatami room. There was a charcoal grill set up with a shichirin. The menu includes beef, pork, Genghis Khan (lamb), seafood, and all the typical dishes you would expect at a yakiniku restaurant. Since I was hungry, I decided to order a variety of items. The Furano Wagyu beef (2500 yen) was tender and full of flavor. The raw lamb Genghis Khan (800 yen) was fresh and delicious without any gaminess. The pork skirt (600 yen) was a Furano specialty and had a nice meaty texture with just the right amount of salt. Among the side dishes, the kimchi (500 yen) was really tasty. The balance of acidity and crunchiness was excellent. The stone bibimbap (850 yen) and cold noodles (850 yen) were also well-seasoned and very enjoyable. The reserved seats were almost full, so it's a popular local spot. The service was friendly, and watching the energetic owner in action was entertaining. Payment is cash only, so I paid in cash. The prices were reasonable and I left satisfied. It was delicious. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy the famous Furano specialty, pork sagari, with delicious seasoning! The owner is very kind and explains the best way to enjoy each dish, showing their dedication to flavor. You can enjoy high-quality meat at a reasonable price, making it a recommended spot in Furano! Personally, I love the pork sagari, raw lamb, liver, and garlic ajillo - all delicious choices!

Long time no see! Yakiniku cooked over charcoal is delicious. I fell in love with liver, sagari, and beer last time. I should have specified "pork sagari" when I ordered, instead of just saying "sagari." I also added pork hormones this time. It was a thick type with a lot of fat, and I asked for it to be seasoned with salt. They told me to eat it without dipping it in sauce, but I personally thought it tasted better with sauce. Thank you for the meal today.

We stayed overnight in Furano with my partner. We didn't have a specific plan for dinner, so we wandered around the town looking for a restaurant. The BBQ place we had visited before seemed to be closed, but there was another BBQ restaurant next to it, so we decided to go there! It was around 5 o'clock, still a bit early for dinner, but as soon as we entered the restaurant, they asked, "Are you the ○○ who made a reservation?" It must be a popular place. Even though we didn't make a reservation, we were guided to a raised seating area. There were transparent vinyl curtains hanging between the tables, from the ceiling to the floor, as part of their infection prevention measures, which was nice to see. Honestly, it's best to eat quietly. It's fine to drink alcohol quietly without making a fuss. If everyone did that, it would be great. The restaurant used charcoal grills (Oga charcoal). We had beef skirt, salted hormone, pork liver, wine lamb, and stone bibimbap. The ingredients were already seasoned, and the sauce provided by the restaurant was more of a complement. We didn't try many types of meat, but the salted hormone stood out. It's hard to describe, but the salt they used really brought out the flavor of the hormone. Even my partner, who doesn't usually eat hormone willingly, was saying how delicious it was. The head chef explained that they use different salts for different ingredients. It's rare to find a restaurant that uses salt so skillfully. The sauce on the sharp-cut liver was also very good. The sauce on the skirt was also quite nice. We added stone bibimbap at the end. Head Chef: "For the stone bibimbap, please mix it well!"...We mixed it well. My partner said they want to go back to this restaurant again. To keep up the appearance of a harmonious family, we must revisit. Thank you for the meal.

I was planning to go somewhere but couldn't make it, so I called and they accepted me at the last minute. They asked where I came from and recommended some sightseeing spots on the map. It made me happy. The salty flavor of the sagari and horumon goes well with rice. Genghis Khan is delicious when grilled quickly with sauce.

This is said to be the oldest yakiniku restaurant in Furano City. Initially, it was a sukiyaki restaurant, but at that time Hokkaido was more focused on pork culture so they switched to a yakiniku restaurant after about 3 years. The current owner is the second generation, with the first being the mother. They explain the unique way of grilling each type of meat while sharing stories. This time, I tried the Wine Jingisukan and Stone Bibimbap that I was curious about. The Wine Jingisukan, beef kalbi, stone bibimbap, pork sagari, liver, and Coca-Cola cost ¥3700. The tender lamb meat soaked in Furano wine was delicious without any gamey taste. The liver was also marinated in a special sauce for a day, resulting in a moist and tasty texture without any unpleasant smell. Everything was delicious, but the stone bibimbap was particularly memorable. When I tried to mix it casually, the owner shouted from behind the counter to mix it more. Following his advice, when I mixed and ate it, all the ingredients blended together smoothly, creating a delicious bibimbap with a smooth texture. Thank you for the meal.

This is a yakiniku restaurant near Furano Station, about a 5-minute walk from the station. The restaurant is marked by a yellow sign. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant that can fit about 2 cars in a row. The exterior of the restaurant looks quite old, and the interior has a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere with smoke filling the air. I ordered pork sagari (with green onion, salt, and garlic) and raw lamb (with special salt), along with two medium-sized beers and rice. The owner kindly gave me tips on how to cook the meat over the charcoal grill. The pork sagari was average in size with good texture and taste. The raw lamb was tender and delicious without any unpleasant smell. The meat slices were standard thickness, making it easy to enjoy. They also have a variety of side dishes that I would like to try next time. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.
