We had high expectations as Snaffles is a favorite, being a sister store. 1) Coffee beans are prominently displayed in the center. 2) Roast chicken is being cooked. 3) There are a ton of rusks. 4) The parfaits... 5) There are choices, but it's hard to tell what's recommended. The ordering process feels more like being forced to choose from limited information rather than having options. Despite the delicious taste, it's a shame not knowing what the recommended items are. The croissants are of high quality and the fillings are tasty, so even just highlighting the best combinations would be greatly appreciated.

The Croissant Japonais had just the right amount of red bean paste without compromising the crispy croissant texture, and the combination of butter and red bean paste was delightful. The Sandwich Drink Set for ¥1,020 allows you to choose the bread, filling, and sauce for your sandwich. Unfortunately, they didn't have baguettes yet, so I had a roast beef sandwich with mustard sauce on rye bread. The sandwich was generously filled with moist roast beef that was easy to bite into, and the mustard sauce added a nice flavor. Despite its size, I finished it in no time and was very satisfied. The coffee that came with the set was also delicious. The bakery offers a wide variety of bread and garnishes, and there are also miscellaneous goods for sale inside. The interior of the shop is stylish, and there is a terrace seating area as well. I couldn't try the baguette and there are many other breads I want to try, so I definitely want to visit again when I go to Hakodate.

I went to "Gourmet Cantar" on this day. I arrived before 12 o'clock, and there were 3 groups of customers before me and 4 groups after me. I went to the counter and checked the menu. This shop allows you to customize your own sandwich, and there are many options to choose from. Since I wasn't sure how long it would take to customize it myself, I asked the staff for a recommendation. I chose "prosciutto and Gruyere cheese" with "basil sauce" on a "baguette" for the bread. I also chose French dressing for the set salad. The staff prepared the sandwich for me, and I took it to the terrace seat because the weather was nice. The baguette had a good bite to it and went well with the basil sauce! The quiche in the set was delicious, but it was a bit difficult to eat with just a fork. In addition to sandwiches, they offer a variety of items like freshly baked bread and desserts. I heard they also serve rich soft-serve ice cream made from Yumikawa Ranch milk every Thursday. I would love to visit again when I'm in Hakodate.
