This stylish yakiniku restaurant features a smokeless roaster with a charcoal grill. They serve the rare brand "Sachiku Mugiou" pork, as well as fresh marbled hormone. Their main beef is Abashiri Wagyu, offering rare cuts like Kaonomi. They also recommend Shime Saba (mackerel) and have a variety of sashimi options. They offer a ladies' deal with free drink refills for groups of two or more, making it a female-friendly spot. The beef tongue is served in thick slices. While not a place for hearty meals, it's great for a light dinner. They have a good selection of side dishes, but they tend to run out of items often (I've been a few times and there are usually limited options besides the recommended dishes).

I am aiming to conquer all the yakiniku restaurants in Abashiri. I decided to do this recently, and out of the 17 restaurants, I have already visited 9. The remaining ones are likely to be tough to visit. Today, I went to a restaurant that I had visited a long time ago and didn't have a good impression of. I thought I would never come back, but I am doing it now for the sake of conquering all the restaurants. When I arrived at 7 o'clock, there was no one there. Is it okay that no one is here at this time? And surprisingly, no one came until I left, even though it was a Friday. The restaurant had a counter at the entrance, and further inside, there were four tables in a raised tatami area. There was only one old man there. We started with a toast with beer and ordered menu items like marbled hormone, prime skirt steak, small meat, and beef hanging tender. I was worried about the marbled hormone as I couldn't trust it completely. It smelled fine, tasted okay, but I still felt uneasy about it. The small meat was delicious, but the prime skirt steak was tough and not that tasty for its high price. The beef hanging tender was average. I asked for a strong sake, and they recommended Kubota's original sake, which turned out to be heavy and delicious. My companion ordered red wine, which seemed fine. The total bill came out to 6800 yen, which I found acceptable. Despite my initial low expectations, the meal turned out to be surprisingly delicious. I will visit again, hoping they will have non-marbled hormone options available.

The restaurant is clean with a counter and raised seating area. They grill on a large shichirin (charcoal grill) with a ventilation hood above to suck up the smoke. The beef kalbi, kimchi, and trendy marbled hormone are delicious. The beef tataki and sushi were also tasty. They serve liver sashimi too. They offer a variety of delicious shochu and sake brands. They have Sapporo Black Label on tap. It would be even better if they had a menu listing the types and prices of shochu. They also have bottles of Ebisu Hop (green label), which is a rare find. If you want to enjoy grilled meat over charcoal with delicious drinks, this is the best place in Abashiri.
