I'll definitely check it out. It's located on the premises of Ice's House, etc. It seems like it was still a bit early in the season, as there were mainly potatoes and a few varieties of vegetables, with more vegetables from mainland Japan. I made some boiled garlic shoots. It was a delicious vegetable with a strong aroma. It seems like local vegetables will be available from around June. I went in April and it was still a draft... Maybe now is the best time to visit!?

I peeked into Ice's house and the nearby market, and bought broccoli for 100 yen and apples for 100 yen because they were cheap. Bags are charged separately, so it's better to bring your own.

Next to the Ice's House and Etsetra, there was a building that caught my attention. I peeked inside and found various vegetables and fruits for sale. Some items were reasonably priced. Oh, they have pickles too. 3 for 1,000 yen. Not incredibly cheap, but the prices are easy to reach. I bought a set to take home. Cucumber pickles are a classic, right? You can either bite into it boldly or chop it up for versatile use. The amazingly delicious Yuzu Daikon. The name "amazingly delicious" is great. It has a slightly sweet seasoning with a nice yuzu flavor. You can keep eating it endlessly. What's interesting is the asparagus soy sauce pickles. I never thought about pickling asparagus before. It's soft yet crunchy, and it's addictive. There were other options too, so I'd like to try something different next time I'm in the area.

It's a place in Nagasuma-cho, located at Nishi 11-South 6 on Route 274, next to "Aisu no Ie" along Route 27. For the exact location, as always, please check the map on Tabelog. Based on reviews from followers, I found something interesting and decided to visit the store after finishing my udon. Upon arrival at the store, I parked my car in the parking lot of "Aisu no Ie and Et cetera" and entered the store. I first went to the corner with the "Nanban Sanshozuke" that caught my eye, where three sizes of jars were lined up. Since I wanted to try it out, I purchased the smallest jar and left the store. Back at home, I tried the Nanban Sanshozuke with a spoon. It was quite spicy, but the influence of soy sauce and koji made it seem suitable for cooking. Next time, I want to try it with chilled tofu, squid sashimi, squid salted guts, and even in an omelette or boiled eggs. I'm curious to see how it will taste with these dishes.

After shopping at Ice's house, I visited this market. During the winter, vegetable harvesting is impossible! The vegetables and fruits were from mainland Japan, but in the summer, there will be plenty of locally grown produce from Nagano. I was tempted by the Sansho pickles, but what caught my attention the most that day was the rice! I bought the new rice from Nagano, "Oborozuki," from the Reiwa 4 era, 5kg for 1800 yen. I thought I had reduced the amount of water, but it was a bit too much. However, it was plump, glossy, delicious, and had a good taste! Next time, I'll try "Nanatsuboshi" too! Thank you, Nagano, for the delicious rice!

On a certain holiday, I stopped by a vegetable store located on the premises of an ice cream shop in Naganuma Nishi during a drive. The parking lot is shared, which is convenient. The store is a new soft serve ice cream shop, located in a small prefab building at the back. The shelves inside have fewer vegetables this season, with more fruits from mainland Japan. On this day, I chose to purchase the "Yumepirika 5kg (2100 yen)" from the display shelf, as I had enjoyed Yumepirika rice in Fukagawa recently. It was fluffy, soft, sticky, and sweet when freshly cooked, and I was glad I bought it. I also bought the "Nanban Sansho Pickles (480 yen)" to accompany rice, but it turned out to be unexpectedly spicy. It was very hot, but I appreciate the umami of soy sauce and koji, and I plan to eat it little by little with rice. Since cabbage was expensive, I chose the "Large Cucumber (380 yen)" instead. The bag contained 8 thick and long cucumbers, with one being quite long and thick, and the skin was thick as well. Perhaps the freshness has slightly declined as the season is coming to an end. I had initially planned to visit Maoi Hill before coming here, but the crowded parking lot made me give up. I was able to park here and shop normally, which was good. Thank you for the meal.
