Thank you for the delicious meal♪ Located in the southwest of Hokkaido, Esashi Town is known as the birthplace of Hokkaido culture. It is also known as the birthplace of the Esashi Oiwake song. I stayed at Hotel Terakoya for work and had breakfast here as well. The breakfast was plentiful and colorful. It was delicious.

I stayed at this hotel in Esashi town for a business trip. The hotel is located near the ferry terminal to Okushiri Island, at the end of the ancient highway. It is a two-story building with not many rooms, but the staff's hospitality was very welcoming and made me feel at home. For breakfast, I had a Japanese-style set meal in the breakfast room which tasted like a homemade breakfast and was delicious. The room rate was reasonable and the location is convenient for sightseeing, so I think it is a good choice for staying in Esashi.

Located near the ferry terminal to Oshidomari Island, this new two-story hotel is nestled in the old streets of the ancient highway. It offers a variety of single rooms, making it convenient for travelers. The rooms are slightly more spacious than those of a business hotel, providing a comfortable stay. While dinner is not included, guests receive a free beer ticket to use at one of the five affiliated restaurants or izakayas, making it a great deal. The owner recommended dining at the Esaikai-Kan, located up a slight hill, where we enjoyed a satisfying meal. For breakfast, a generous Japanese set meal including simmered fish, salad, and natto is provided, along with milk, juice, and coffee for guests to enjoy. In the midst of many old inns in Esashi, this hotel offers a comfortable place to stay.
