No one was there, no customers, no staff. It was a serious private reservation... Do I have to make it myself? Well, for now, I looked at the menu, and an old man slowly appeared from the back. Pork Cutlet Curry for 850 yen. I had it in the past. But I had absolutely no memory of it. Last time I visited, I had the pork cutlet bowl. So, this time, I tried the pork cutlet curry for the first time. I ordered it, but I couldn't believe that I had actually eaten it before. The sound of frying cutlets came from the kitchen after I ordered it. Ah, they're frying the cutlets... It was freshly fried cutlets. The cutlets were cut and served like this. The curry had a nostalgic taste. I recently had Showa-era rice curry in Jimbocho, Tokyo, and it had a similar atmosphere. This taste is unique to dining places. It's not too thick or too thin. The cutlet was a solid type. I tried the cutlet. Ah, yes, this is how the cutlets at diners are. Not too thin, not too thick, it's like the cutlets you make at home. Since each piece is slightly thin, eating two pieces at once gives a good punch. However, the curry is gentle, so it balances out. This is what a pork cutlet curry should be. Cutlet, curry, rice. Put them on a spoon and bring them to your mouth in one bite. This is the true essence of pork cutlet curry. However, since the curry is gentle, I added some sauce. Ah, it matches perfectly. This curry is reminiscent of the curry you would eat at a school cafeteria. It's a curry that perfectly complements the taste of the sauce. It was a nostalgic curry for those born in the Showa era.
