I heard there is a take-out specialty store near Tokiwa Park, so I visited. The menu includes bento boxes, yakitori, crepes, curry, onigiri, and more. Isn't 130 yen for yakisoba super cheap? I found the menu item "Crab Fried Rice Flavor" amusing (lol). I ordered the large yakisoba, curry, and onigiri (pickled vegetables and salmon). The large yakisoba was a decent size. Maybe if they made the large size a bit smaller and offered a half size, it would be perfect. Although it didn't have meat, the yakisoba was quite tasty. The curry was very rich and surprisingly delicious. Also, the onigiri had a homemade feel and was delicious. The pickled vegetable one was the best. I would like to try other items for take-out next time.

Twitter and Instagram may be popular, but this place is still a hidden gem because they don't advertise in free papers or print media. They offer handmade, affordable bento boxes. The curry had a rich texture with less liquid in the roux, but the flavor itself was not too salty and had a refreshing, light taste. The fried potatoes were made with sweet yellow potatoes, so they were naturally sweet even without salt. It's definitely worth calling ahead to make a reservation before buying anything.

I saw this place on my way back from walking along the riverbank. I recently started following them on Instagram and was curious to visit. It's a takeout-only shop called "Soramame." It's located in a residential area quite far from the main road, so it's easy to miss without a sign. Inside, there's a kind lady running the place. The menu includes daily bento boxes, inari sushi, yakisoba, curry, and a variety of crepes. I decided to try their onigiri before work. I ordered the "salmon and bonito flakes" for 250 yen. They make it fresh on the spot and bring it to your car. It was a big, fluffy onigiri with plenty of filling, and the rice was delicious. It was a nice change from convenience store onigiri. I'll definitely be going back again.

I followed Soramame on Instagram and found out about this place, but I don't know who registered it. I can only think of one person who might have, but I can't go there myself, especially at night. I don't want to go to Kitami at night, even though I don't drink. So, it's not my turn to go. "Why don't you go?" "Oh, sure, Jolly Pasta just opened, so..." What a coincidence. Can you write about Jolly Pasta too? "But it's crowded." "..." Well, I thought Soramame would be fine. I didn't mean to be rude. It's in the middle of a residential area. Only the person themselves would understand what "in the middle" means. They got lost even with navigation. They ordered "Crab Fried Rice for 250 yen" and "Yakisoba for 130 yen." Isn't that surprisingly cheap? It seems like a lie. Yome-san looked at the menu again and laughed. "The taste of Crab Fried Rice for 250 yen is okay. It's a bit dry, I wish it was a bit moister. The flavor is a bit light. There's no crab in it, of course. It's the taste of Crab Fried Rice. Whether it tastes like crab is a secret." Either way, it's 250 yen, right? As for the Yakisoba, well, it's small because of the price. But it's only 130 yen, which is amazing. It's a bit thicker. The flavor is slightly stronger. Vegetables are also included, and since it's Kitami, onions are in it too. It's nice that they sell it for 130 yen. I think it's amazing.
