I went to Yoshimatsu, located in a hard-to-find place on the outskirts of town. I parked my car in front of the store and entered. The interior of the store was dimly lit, with wooden carvings scattered everywhere. I sat at the counter and ordered the "Soy Sauce Chashu Ramen" (800 yen). While waiting, I went to the restroom. The place was cluttered with ornaments, manga books, goldfish, and more. When the ramen arrived, it looked like Kushiro Ramen. The soup was thin, with a weak flavor of both dashi and soy sauce. The noodles were overcooked and lacked texture. The toppings included bamboo shoots, fish cake, small seaweed, green onions, and chashu, all of which had a bland taste. Overall, the ramen lacked effort and flavor. The restaurant also allowed smoking indoors, which was disappointing.
