This was my second visit. Despite arriving a little before opening time, I was allowed to enter the restaurant. Within less than an hour, it was bustling with local regular customers and almost full. I started with red meat and octopus sashimi with beer. It was a bit disappointing that the red meat was not bluefin tuna. Next, I ordered the fried flounder that I had also tried the other day. It went perfectly with hot sake. It was delicious. I then ordered a few more dishes, and finished with crab rice porridge. Among the many restaurants in Niseko with inflated prices, the reasonable prices here continue to be supported by local customers. Niseko still retains some of its quiet charm from the past.

Visited on a weekday night in July 2017. Despite being a weekday, the small restaurant was packed. There were also foreigners present, probably because the menu is written in both Japanese and English. Truly Niseko! Prices range from reasonable to over 1,000 yen. Here are some thoughts on the dishes:
- Sesame Chicken Wings (500 yen): Crispy fried chicken wings with sesame seeds. Juicy on the inside.
- Tsubu Skewers (450 yen): Skewers of tsubu clams with a nice sea flavor.
- Octopus Sashimi (700 yen): Today's recommendation. White fish with a good amount of fat.
- Crab Ankake Tofu (450 yen): Warm tofu with a Japanese-style broth sauce.
- Buttered Shiitake Mushrooms (400 yen): Simple yet delicious. The restaurant is run by the owner and his wife. Be prepared to wait patiently for the food.

I visited here two years ago, after skiing at Grand Hirafu in Niseko for a while and staying at a hotel right next to the ski resort. I took a microbus taxi to get here as I had made a reservation in advance. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to arrive. This place is an izakaya run by a fish market, so the seafood was delicious. I particularly remember the sashimi of octopus (takobire) being sweet and tasty. I had a good time drinking and eating, and the prices were not too high. I would love to come back when I go skiing in Niseko. Thank you for the meal.

We stayed at an inn without dinner, so the owner recommended this seafood izakaya and provided us with a shuttle. The restaurant has about 5 counter seats on the first floor and 4 table seats (maybe 6). The second floor has tatami seating, and when we visited, there was a group of 10 and a couple's seat. The husband and wife run the place, so they warned us that orders may take longer with a large group. We made a reservation for 6:00 before the group arrived. Since it's in Hokkaido, it's best to order Hokkaido seafood. The shishamo was excellent, but the tuna sashimi was not so great. We should have ordered the hokke instead of tuna. The mini ikura bowl had tough skin and wasn't as good as expected (I didn't try it myself). The owner of the inn said it was "cheap and delicious," but I thought it was decent for the price. I would definitely come back again!
