When making a reservation, I ordered the domestic brand eel unaju (deluxe) and paired it with grilled eel. I also added a bottle of beer (Heartland) and some pickled radish with grilled eel. - Eel Unaju: Perfect ideal eel unaju. Always served hot with tender, melt-in-your-mouth eel. The smoky flavor from charcoal grilling was also excellent! The rice was perfectly cooked. The sauce was also perfect. Each element was perfect, and the balance and harmony of flavors were also perfect. - Grilled Eel: Also served hot. It had a crispy texture that melts in your mouth, but the skin was a bit difficult to eat as it separated. I might skip ordering this next time. - Eel Liver and Bone Senbei: I was surprised when it came for two portions, but I guess it was because I also ordered the grilled eel. The liver had a unique taste, which was interesting (as expected). The bones had a relatively light crunch today (sometimes they can be very hard). It had been about 4 months since my last visit due to a previous bad experience and avoiding the hot weather. This time, the staff were all new faces. The two middle-aged ladies were a bit indifferent, but the young staff members who looked like high school girls were working hard and made me feel warm and fuzzy.

Eel liver, eel bone senbei, pickles, liver sashimi, top-quality eel rice bowl, eel liver with wasabi soy sauce. The eel bone senbei has a subtle fat taste and is quite delicious. The eel rice bowl from the brand-raised eels of Bando Taro is fluffy and tasty.

Located in Yotsugi, this eel restaurant operates on a strict reservation-only basis. Reservations can only be made online. The menu offers a variety of options, but I chose the domestic brand eel. It was rich in flavor and the flesh was tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The eel bone senbei that came out first was delicious. ---Order Details--- - Domestic Brand Eel (Special) ¥7,700 - Eel Liver Sashimi ¥300

Visited "Unagi Gyomasa" in Yotsugi. This popular eel restaurant in Yotsugi. I had been wanting to visit this place since I found out about it, but whenever I checked online in the summer, it was usually fully booked. Finally, I managed to make a reservation for this time of the year in autumn, so I decided to visit. The restaurant is located in a residential area near the station. The restaurant is on the first floor of an apartment building. When you enter through the white noren curtain, the cozy interior gives a comforting feeling, like a small traditional Japanese restaurant. I was seated at a table. The system is to order in advance when making a web reservation. First, I had the crispy eel bone senbei and liver. The crispy texture and juiciness of the eel bone senbei were captivating. If there was a ranking of eel bone senbei I've eaten in my life, this would definitely be number one. The liver was fresh and I enjoyed it with wasabi soy sauce. After waiting for about 40 minutes, the main dish of eel rice box was served. □ Eel Rice Box (7700 yen including tax) This is the Bando Taro eel rice box. It's a high-quality eel from a well-known brand. I took a bite right away. The first impression was the amazing fluffy texture and the savory aroma of the grilling that spread in my mouth. It's like a double impression. Along with the fluffy texture, the fragrant aroma follows afterwards. It was a truly delicious eel rice box. I understand why it's so popular. □ Liver Sucking (300 yen including tax) Liver sucking with a large piece of liver. It was easy to drink and a perfect accompaniment to the eel. The eel was really delicious. From the eel bone senbei to the eel rice box, I was completely captivated. Although there may be issues like difficulty in getting a reservation or long waiting times depending on the season, as everyone has praised, I think it's worth visiting this restaurant. Payment is cash only. Receipts are invoice-compatible. It was very delicious. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

Let's get excited! Today, we visited Unagi Uozushi for a meal! Unagi Uozushi is a popular eel restaurant, and the area around this station is filled with Captain Tsubasa promotions! Everywhere you look, it's all about Tsubasa. It turns out that the author, Mr. Takahashi, was born here. We were invited by Yotsugi, a big Captain Tsubasa fan, to try the eel here. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is relaxed, with chill music playing in the background. We ordered the eel rice bowl in advance and waited patiently. While waiting, we enjoyed some crispy eel bones. They were delicious! Finally, our eel rice bowl arrived. The aroma was amazing, and the eel was tender and fluffy. The eel here is truly the best in Japan, as they claim. The perfect softness and thickness of the eel, paired with the sweet sauce and slightly firm rice, created a wonderful combination. It felt like a well-thought-out strategy, just like in soccer! We left the restaurant full and satisfied. It's no wonder this place is so popular. The food was incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal!

A friend took me out to celebrate my birthday at Uogashi, a restaurant with a rating of 4.18 on Tabelog. It was located near Yotsugi Station, which was decorated in a Captain Tsubasa theme. The restaurant is only a minute's walk from the station and requires reservations. We were seated at a table surrounded by autographs of famous people. My friend had reserved the top-quality domestic eel dish for 7700 yen, which was surprisingly the cheapest item on the menu. The service was slow because the eel is prepared after the order is placed, ensuring freshness. We started with bone crackers and liver on myoga as an appetizer, followed by a generous portion of eel over rice. The eel was crispy, fatty, and sweet, and tasted great with sansho pepper. The pickles were also delicious. I savored every bite in silence. I learned that they also offer a 30,000 yen eel dish, which I would love to try someday. It was a special dining experience. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Unagi Uomasa in Higashi-Yotsugi. It is a renowned eel restaurant that has been selected as one of the top 100 eel restaurants on Tabelog and has won the Bronze Award since 2017. It is located just a short walk from Yotsugi Station on the Keisei Oshiage Line. The restaurant is now reservation-only, with reservations only accepted online through TableCheck. You can choose to dine in or take out. The menu offers various sizes of eel dishes, with prices varying accordingly. The restaurant also offers a special dish called "Special Order Live Eel," which is prepared using fresh eel and takes time to cook. While waiting for your order, you can enjoy eel liver and bone crackers. The eel dish is served with steamed rice and miso soup, and the eel is perfectly grilled and flavorful. Overall, the food is delicious and worth trying.

I visited because I wanted to try natural eel. It's about a 3-minute walk from Keisei-Yotsugi Station. They were selling frozen grilled and boiled eel at the vending machine in front of the store. While waiting, they served bone crackers. After about 50 minutes of waiting, the grilled eel dish was served. It was so beautifully arranged that it could be considered artistic. The taste was so delicious that it felt like a waste to eat it. Although it is a bit far from the city center, it is very close from Oshiage, so I plan to visit again.

Since our family's long-time favorite eel restaurant, Tsujido Unadaira, closed down, we have been struggling to find a new place for eel dishes for our family gatherings. Despite our efforts to search for a new restaurant, it seems that eel restaurants are extremely busy in July and August due to the season. After calling multiple places only to be turned down, we decided to postpone our search to a later time. Surprisingly, we found a restaurant that accepts online reservations for eel dishes, and we made a reservation as soon as it opened a month in advance. The meal started with crispy eel bone crackers and flavorful eel liver. The eel dish that arrived later was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Although the taste was exceptional, the restaurant is a bit far for us to become regulars, so our eel restaurant journey continues. Next time, I hope to try their wild-caught eel. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The restaurant is located near Yotsugi Station, known as the "hometown of Captain Tsubasa" due to being the birthplace of the manga's author, Yoichi Takahashi. The restaurant, Unagi Gyoshou, founded in April 1980, offers high-quality eel dishes, including the famous Bando Taro brand eel. We made a reservation a month in advance and ordered the Bando Taro eel along with eel liver sashimi. The eel had a unique texture, similar to marbled meat, with a delicate and melt-in-your-mouth flavor. It was a delightful dining experience in the hometown of Captain Tsubasa.

Recently, I have become obsessed with natural charcoal-grilled eel from the Hekizan River system, so I visited a restaurant that specializes in serving this dish. I asked to see the eel before it was prepared, and the staff kindly showed it to me. Thank you so much. I won't make any more special requests next time (lol). The grilled eel had a slight firmness to it, and as I got towards the bottom, it had a soft texture. It wasn't very fatty, so I enjoyed it with just liver and salt, without wasabi. When I opened the lid of the eel bowl, a delicious aroma of sauce and charcoal grilling wafted out. My appetite immediately kicked into high gear. This eel had a good amount of fat between the skin and the flesh. When I took a bite, the rich sauce and the flavor of the eel combined perfectly. Wow! It was delicious! I ordered a natural eel for the eel bowl at 20,000 yen and a natural eel for the grilled eel at 15,000 yen when I made the reservation. At the time of payment, it seemed like the 20,000 yen eel was larger, so the total came out to around 25,000 yen.

It's difficult to get in without a reservation and reservations need to be made well in advance, which makes it hard to plan. The last time I went was probably last year around the end of the year. I've been wanting to go since then but couldn't find the right timing. Finally, on this day, I was grateful to have a friend who could accompany me. In the past, I always ordered the course menu, but this time there was no course option available, so I reluctantly made a reservation for an eel rice bowl. We sat down, got the a la carte menu for the day, and ordered about 6 items to share one by one. There were some dishes that we couldn't have with the course menu, so it was a good experience to try them individually. We started with beer to wet our throats and then moved on to sake. The selection of sake and shochu was extensive, and they had good quality alcohol. The prices were quite high but it was considered a premium price. After about 40-50 minutes, just as we finished all the a la carte dishes, the main dish of eel rice bowl finally arrived. I was already excited before opening the lid. When we opened it, a wonderful aroma filled the air. The fragrance that had been floating around like background music suddenly became the main attraction, urging us to dig in. The eel was as soft and fluffy as a tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), and it melted in the mouth. The sauce here is what I like the most. It's a bit sweet and really stimulates the appetite. Just a few minutes ago, my friend and I were saying, "We're pretty full from the a la carte dishes," but we forgot about that and just kept eating until we finished everything. It was delicious once again. Thank you for the meal!

I learned about the existence of Yotsugi Station thanks to Uomasa-san. I ordered shirayaki, liver sashimi, and unagi don online and visited the restaurant! It was the highest-priced domestic eel. The reservation was made 1-2 weeks ago, but surprisingly it was easy to get a reservation. Perhaps because it was a weekday lunchtime, the restaurant seemed full. We sat at a table in the back, overlooking the panda eels swimming in the tank. We refrained from drinking too much beer and sake since we were planning to have dinner later. The shirayaki went really well with the sake... We started with bone crackers and liver. They were not freshly fried, but still delicious. The shirayaki was an optional item, so we had to order it separately. It was seriously delicious... The flesh was thick, and even a small bite was satisfying! It had a fluffy texture, with a crispy outer layer, creating a great contrast. The unagi don was amazing... but there was so much of it... When we opened the container, we were surprised by how full it was. The rice was hidden underneath, which was something we had never experienced before! The texture was luxurious, with the eel melting in your mouth. It was my first time trying such a fluffy and melty eel! The crispy outer layer was fragrant, and the contrast with the soft interior was irresistible... The liver sashimi was also delicious. This is a restaurant to visit when you want to indulge in eel! However, getting a reservation, especially for dinner, might be challenging... Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I made a reservation online for lunch, but there weren't many options available probably due to its popularity. However, I was able to make a reservation and headed to Yotsugi Station on the day of. It was my first time at Yotsugi Station, and it seemed to have connections to Captain Tsubasa, with posters, wall photos, and character statues around. The only photo I took was of a Family Mart directly connected to the station, possibly depicting an overhead shoot (no explanation). If you exit the station from the right side of the Family Mart (ball), and walk a few minutes along the tracks to the left, you will find the restaurant without getting lost. I arrived a little before the opening time and waited at the smoking area in front of the restaurant. As the opening time approached, several people lined up in front of the restaurant. When it opened, a staff member came out, and I gave my reservation name to enter. I had already ordered the premium eel rice bowl online, so I only needed to choose a drink from the menu. Although I'm not very knowledgeable, they had a good selection of sake, so I ordered cold sake. When I asked if there were any side dishes available, they brought me a menu (it never hurts to ask), and I ordered the grilled eel skewers. As expected, it took 40 minutes from entering the restaurant to the eel rice bowl, but it didn't feel long. I ordered a drink, ate the bones and liver while drinking, and also had the grilled skewers I added. The restaurant was quiet with no music playing, allowing time to pass peacefully. I forgot to take a picture, but the liver sashimi (for an additional fee) was served before the eel rice bowl, and finally, I faced the premium eel rice bowl! This eel is called "soft and melty," and I immediately felt it upon taking a bite! I was impressed by how the potential of the fish was brought out to this extent rather than just the eel itself! The sauce was on the lighter side, perhaps to enjoy the ingredients. From the anticipation upon entering, the high quality of each dish along the way, to the satisfaction and lingering aftertaste after finishing the course, it was a fulfilling experience. I would definitely want to come back on another occasion.

It's a shame that you can't order on the day based on how you feel, as it's a completely reservation-only system. However, both the natural ingredients and branded items are of top quality. The luxurious wait time with liver wasabi and bone crackers is a treat. The eel rice bowl has a deliciously charred surface from the long charcoal grill, a fluffy texture, a deep sauce, and sweet rice - a top-notch combination. The wasabi soy sauce from Shirayaki is also exquisite. Highly recommended restaurant.

I had natural eel for the first time in a while and it was delicious. Eel restaurants are like regular meal places where you wait for over 30 minutes and finish eating in 10 minutes, but the taste is satisfying. They only serve eel in a box, so I will only go when I really crave it. The taste of natural eel can vary, but today's was very delicious.

"Unagi Uomasa" is a popular restaurant that has secured the 5th place in the nationwide "eel" category on Tabelog. You can make reservations through Eater Net and even have the option of having your order delivered to your home using cool delivery service. Reservations can be made through their website, and deliveries can be arranged through their "order page". The restaurant is located near Shiyotsugi Station on the Keisei Oshiage Line in Tokyo. They offer three types of eel: natural eel, domestic brand eel, and domestic eel. The natural eel is only available during the season when eel is delicious, while the domestic brand eel uses high-quality eels like "Bando Taro". The domestic eel varies in taste and quality depending on the region it comes from. The restaurant has received high praise for their natural eel, but the domestic brand eel is also highly recommended. "Unagi Uomasa" is a renowned eel restaurant and has been featured in the Michelin Guide. They are popular among foreign visitors, especially those from mainland China. The restaurant is conveniently located near Shiyotsugi Station, making it a great stop after visiting Asakusa or Skytree. "Unagi Uomasa" has consistently received high ratings on Tabelog and has been recognized as a top eel restaurant. My initial visit to "Unagi Uomasa" was based on the positive reviews on Tabelog, and I have been a regular customer ever since. Tabelog has been a useful source of information, and I am grateful for it.

On a regular Monday at 6:00 PM, I made a reservation and waited for about 20 minutes after arriving. I was served bone crackers and eel liver, followed by the eel rice bowl about 10 minutes later. The waiting time was a bit long. The taste was delicious as expected, but for around 20,000 yen for natural eel, 3 glasses of sake, and beer, it came to about 38,000 yen. It was tasty, but at this price point, I felt there are other options available.

We made a reservation for 4 people at 12:30 through online booking. We arrived early as we were worried about parking. Even before entering the restaurant, the delicious smell of eel made our stomachs growl. Additional orders cannot be made after the arrival of the reserved item, so be careful. After a short wait, eel bone crackers and liver were served. The bones were fried to a crispy texture and the liver was served with wasabi soy sauce, offering a firm and juicy texture. Next, the grilled eel arrived with liver salt on the side, which was simple yet delicious. After a 30-minute wait, the highly anticipated domestic top-grade eel and liver were served, impressing us with the thickness of the eel meat and the perfect amount of fat. The eel was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender texture. The taste was exquisite, making it worth the wait. Overall, the experience at "Unagi Uomasa" in Yotsugi was truly delightful.

I wanted to eat delicious eel, so I made an early reservation for the Saturday after the Day of the Ox. This time, it was my first time trying wild eel. First, I had eel liver with grated daikon and eel bone senbei. Today's eel is said to be from Lake Hamana, and the large liver and bones made me look forward to the eel itself. While more and more eel dishes were being prepared for other customers, I waited for a full hour from entering the restaurant until the eel dish arrived. The eel dish had a slightly burnt flavor. It is said that wild eels have a firm texture and less greasy because they catch their own food, and indeed, the eel was delicious with just the right amount of bounce and not too fatty, which is different from farmed eels! Honestly, I was worried if I could tell the difference, but whether it's because of the price or my imagination, it was incredibly delicious. The fluffy tail-like part of the eel is nice, but this eel is so good that it might become addictive. The balance of the sauce, firm rice, and eel liver were all to my liking. Following the tail part, I give Fish Masayuki a perfect score! Since it's wild eel, the taste can vary greatly depending on where and when it's caught, making it a truly unique tasting experience. This is a restaurant I want to visit every year for this special treat. Thank you for the meal.
