I made a reservation online for lunch, but there weren't many options available probably due to its popularity. However, I was able to make a reservation and headed to Yotsugi Station on the day of. It was my first time at Yotsugi Station, and it seemed to have connections to Captain Tsubasa, with posters, wall photos, and character statues around. The only photo I took was of a Family Mart directly connected to the station, possibly depicting an overhead shoot (no explanation). If you exit the station from the right side of the Family Mart (ball), and walk a few minutes along the tracks to the left, you will find the restaurant without getting lost. I arrived a little before the opening time and waited at the smoking area in front of the restaurant. As the opening time approached, several people lined up in front of the restaurant. When it opened, a staff member came out, and I gave my reservation name to enter. I had already ordered the premium eel rice bowl online, so I only needed to choose a drink from the menu. Although I'm not very knowledgeable, they had a good selection of sake, so I ordered cold sake. When I asked if there were any side dishes available, they brought me a menu (it never hurts to ask), and I ordered the grilled eel skewers. As expected, it took 40 minutes from entering the restaurant to the eel rice bowl, but it didn't feel long. I ordered a drink, ate the bones and liver while drinking, and also had the grilled skewers I added. The restaurant was quiet with no music playing, allowing time to pass peacefully. I forgot to take a picture, but the liver sashimi (for an additional fee) was served before the eel rice bowl, and finally, I faced the premium eel rice bowl! This eel is called "soft and melty," and I immediately felt it upon taking a bite! I was impressed by how the potential of the fish was brought out to this extent rather than just the eel itself! The sauce was on the lighter side, perhaps to enjoy the ingredients. From the anticipation upon entering, the high quality of each dish along the way, to the satisfaction and lingering aftertaste after finishing the course, it was a fulfilling experience. I would definitely want to come back on another occasion.
