When it comes to fresh seafood in Hidaka, this is the place ♥️ They have a wide variety of dried delicacies and plenty of dried fish at affordable prices. I bought Karasuhamo and Akisake Harasu. The Harasu here is delicious ♥️♥️ The fish is dried well because it is fresh. This shop is perfect! I will definitely go back this weekend ♥️

I visited this place while on a business trip nearby. It has been about 2 and a half years since my last visit. There are so many things I want to eat here, so I had a hard time deciding. In the end, I bought "Squid Salted Roe," "Salmon Fin," and "Salmon Belly (from Shizunai, salted)." I bought the salted roe before and it was delicious, so I bought it again! Salted roe is perfect with rice or as a snack with drinks. The salmon fin is also good as a snack. The salmon belly is affordable and has a generous portion. I grilled it and it was very tasty. These are items I want to eat again. If I come near here again, I would like to visit. Thank you for the meal! 🍴

Memorandum 2017-O-0161-1109: This is a seafood shop located along Route 235 in Shinhidaka Town, Hokkaido. I came across this shop on my way back from a drive and I just can't resist stopping at places like this. I initially passed by but my curiosity got the best of me, so I quickly made a U-turn. The shop sells dried goods and souvenirs, as well as dried seafood. Although I had planned to skip buying fresh seafood since I had other stops planned, I couldn't help but notice the nostalgic salted salmon on display, which I haven't seen in years. When I asked the staff if they could provide insulated packaging, they mentioned they had styrofoam, so I ended up purchasing the salted salmon along with dried flounder and fish cake. The flounder and fish cake were meant for a snack later that night. The flounder was perfectly dried and had a rich flavor. The salted salmon, a nostalgic treat, was enjoyed the next morning as part of my breakfast rice ball. It had a strong salty taste and a firm texture, reminding me of my childhood. I remember back then, one slice of this salted salmon could be paired with multiple bowls of rice. I would finish off by pouring hot water over the skin and bones for a tea rice porridge. Despite the current trend of reducing salt intake, sometimes it's nice to indulge in flavors like this. I recall that salted salmon used to be a budget-friendly ingredient compared to salted salmon, but it seems to have become quite a luxury item nowadays. By the way, it seems that I wasn't charged for the insulated styrofoam, so I plan to bring it along next time to stock up on salted salmon.

I came to this place again for a business trip. They sell various seafood products. This time, I decided to buy "mushirikomai" and "sliced tba." I bought the sliced tba because it doesn't have skin and seems easy to eat. It's not often sold in this shape! Mushirikomai is a classic, right? I would definitely want to stop by this place again to buy some when I come for another business trip.

Visited a shop to buy snacks for drinking. On the way back from work, I found an interesting store!! It seems to be a specialty store for seafood. They sell a variety of snacks. This time, I purchased "mefun," "squid salted guts," and "hokke sticks." Mefun is not easy to find! It's the best for drinking snacks or rice accompaniments. Squid salted guts are a classic. They are also good for drinking snacks. Hokke sticks were a first for me! I bought them out of curiosity, and I'm looking forward to eating them at home. I would like to visit this place again when I'm nearby.

Leaving behind the spring breeze, I stopped by after a long time to buy some squid salted guts. The price has gone up to ¥650, probably due to poor fishing. I bought 10 packs for souvenirs with my partner. Since there are no fresh fish due to bad weather, I also added some dried squid and octopus to my shopping basket. Tonight, I'm sure the alcohol will go down smoothly! (^^)

Visited on the way back from a business trip. It's been about 1 year and 6 months since I last came here. It's a place I can't visit often. There are so many things I want to eat here. This time, I bought "7 dried mandarin oranges," "350g of spicy squid jerky," and "400g of squid-rich mentaiko." It may have been a while since I had mandarin oranges! It's a bit difficult to peel, but it's the best as a snack with alcohol. The spicy squid jerky and squid mentaiko are also great as snacks with alcohol, but they are also delicious when served on warm rice. I would like to stop by to buy them again when I come on another business trip. Thank you for the meal! 🍻
