The convenient izakaya in front of Hotel Mashu was quite delicious. I was surprised by the volume of the grilled fish. The yakitori was unexpectedly tasty too.

I visited this restaurant because it was located near the hotel I stayed at in Teshikaga. The interior was clean and the chairs at the counter were very comfortable. The menu was extensive and the food was delicious. I was satisfied.

I visited a beautiful izakaya for dinner when staying at a hot spring in Teshikaga. They served dishes like fried chicken, tempura, grilled skewers, and grilled fish, as well as creative dishes. The fried dishes were crispy and delicious, and there was a dish called "treasure box" or something similar, where seafood and eggplant were stir-fried in a Chinese style and served in a large eggplant container. It was fancy and tasty. I think it's better to enjoy eating and drinking at a local izakaya while staying at a hot spring inn with natural hot spring water, rather than eating the usual dishes at the inn. That's just my personal opinion.
