On the way to Kutchan for work, I took the highway up to Yoichi and found that taking the Fruit Highway would be quicker. It was my first time passing through! I saw a stylish shop surrounded by fields. I quickly looked it up and found out they had beer! Let's go check it out! The farm also produces craft beer, which they sell for 600 yen per bottle. I'll try it when I get home! It's a craft beer that is easy to drink, not in a bad way. I thought it might be more fruity because it's from a farm. The shop also offers apple pie, soft serve ice cream, and other items.

I found an unfamiliar building along a fairly familiar running route - Kurashima Dairy Soft Serve 330. It has a Kurashima milk flavor, with blueberries on top. The amount of soft serve is a bit small though. The cone is one of the newer ones. The Fruit Tomato 300 is quite sweet. My daughter loves mini tomatoes, so for her, it's like having a dessert.

I wonder what's here. I stopped by and found some cherries, Satonishiki variety. They are almost finished for the season. I tried a sample, but I receive some from Yamagata every year, so I opted for the soft serve ice cream instead. It's from Kurashima Dairy. It's been a while since I had it. I got excited watching it being prepared! It came with a cute cherry on top. Is this the same one I tried earlier? Such a luxurious treat. The soft serve was delicious too! They also had vegetables, pies, and other items, making the whole experience enjoyable. I heard they offer craft beer too. I'd love to try it sometime. Thank you for the meal!

It's always more reliable to ask locals about local recommendations. When I asked for a recommendation at a tourist farm, they suggested this place. It's located along the Fruit Highway. I usually use Route 5 as my main route, so this place was completely unfamiliar to me. It's the entrance to Cherry Mountain, with a log house-style building. It seems to stand out from nearby tourist farms. It seems to appeal more to younger people. When you enter, there isn't a wide variety of items displayed. Older people might find it a bit lacking. They were selling Pure White for 100 yen each. The prunes and the ready-to-eat Ureure packs were a bargain at 150 yen each. I ordered the soft serve ice cream for 330 yen. It was slightly on the smaller side, but the rich-tasting soft serve was delicious. When I got home and tried the Pure White and prunes, they exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. It was a satisfying meal. They also brew craft beer. I wish I had bought some... I give it a 4.0 rating with high hopes for the future.
