After returning from Jozankei, I chose tarako for a snack. I wandered into a small alley and found a shop with local ladies chatting inside. The fridge was filled with plenty of tarako. The lady serving us seemed very friendly and skilled at customer service. The tarako with yuzu was delicious and perfect for pasta. Each pack cost around 500 yen, which seemed like a good deal. The options included mentaiko, tarako soy sauce, spicy mentaiko, yuzu spicy mentaiko, and octopus mentaiko, all easy to eat and great for cooking. The shop didn't disappoint and offered tasty options at affordable prices. The octopus was sliced like sashimi, so it would be better served as sashimi. They also had dried fish from Yoichi, which was delicious as well. Everything was tasty, thank you to the lady serving us.

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to those who have been affected by the recent Hokkaido Eastern Iburi earthquake. Today, I would like to introduce the first review of Kaneto Suisan, located in the fishing port of Urappira, as featured in Jyun no Mise. At Kaneto Suisan, I purchased nearshore cod roe (350g for 800 yen each x 2) for home use, and salmon roe (710 yen) as a gift for a friend. After returning home, I used the nearshore cod roe for onigiri and cod roe spaghetti, and it was delicious, as expected from locally sourced roe. Despite the odd shape of the cod roe, the taste was just as good as regular cod roe, making it a great purchase. Kaneto Suisan, introduced by Jyun no Mise, made its debut on Tabelog. As expected, recommendations from professionals rarely disappoint, making it a reliable place to shop. "Thank you for the meal."

I ordered spicy mentaiko. It's different from regular mentaiko and more like tarako with chili pepper. If you haven't tried it before, it's delicious! The sweetness of the tarako pairs well with the spiciness. You can even get it through hometown tax donations. Thank you for the meal!
