When I went to Yunni no Yu, I was turned down by Maabo-chan who said "It starts at 10 o'clock," so I declared "I'm going to Yunni no Yu" to change to a bath in Kitahiroshima, but when I stopped by Aichuland, the timing became awkward. "Isn't there always a chance to go to the Kitahiroshima bath?" When I thought I should go to Yunni no Yu after all, the conversation turned to "Won't the time be wasted if we stop by the Michi no Eki?" Come to think of it, there was also a vegetable direct sales store. It was quite crowded even though it was only 9:30. "Naganuma Town Fruit Tree Promotion Association." All the vegetables were really cheap, but it seems that Yome-san's heart was touched by this store. She bought quite a lot of vegetables. She was most pleased that she could buy garlic for 300 yen. Certainly, it's impossible to buy this amount of domestic garlic for 300 yen. What I bought was red onion. I like it because it looks beautiful when used in a salad. Paprika? Green pepper? They are cut quite large and served in a salad. The other day, it was also included in the green pepper pork. I haven't eaten the beans yet. I like boiled beans, but I don't like Yome-san's boiled beans because they are not sweet (I'm sure you're reading this, haha). I don't sing songs, but I love garlic. This one wasn't particularly sweet, but I couldn't help but reach for it. I don't like overly sweet things, but I like them sautéed. Garlic... makes me ecstatic. My grandfather, who used to say "I will climb Mount Fuji at 100 years old" and ate homemade garlic every day, saying it was for his health. He was so strong that he often upset his stomach and had pimples on his face, and I often wondered, "Is it really good for your health?". In the end, he died at the age of 70, my beloved grandfather, but most of what he said was wrong. This place has very cheap vegetables, so if you're nearby, you'll definitely stop by.

I received some stamps at the Maoi no Oka Koen Michi no Eki. There is a row of old-fashioned shops across from the Michi no Eki building. The atmosphere used to be uncomfortable for me, as I am not good at being approached by shopkeepers, but it has recently been renovated and now has a bright and friendly atmosphere, making it much easier to shop. I love browsing through the vegetables and on this day, I purchased daikon radish, okra, and sweet peppers, all of which were incredibly fresh. The sweet peppers, in particular, were a great deal at 150 yen for a bag full. I need to enjoy Hokkaido's produce while I still can, so I will definitely be going back for more shopping. Thank you to the Fruit Promotion Association.
