Day drinking is the best. I had a drinking party with my mom friends from 12pm to 5pm. The salt and ginger fried chicken is delicious. They have a variety of skewers like asparagus, corn, nagaimo, and pickled ginger, and you pour sauce over them instead of dipping. The seating is cramped and there are no sunken kotatsu seats, so you have to be careful when going to the restroom. The place is crowded even during the day. Seems like everyone loves day drinking after all.

I was drawn in by the 88 yen eyebrow beauty offer, but it's a bit tricky to visit at 3 pm with plenty of other customers around. And as usual, there was only one cook and one server. Despite their large size, the staff moved swiftly through the narrow aisles, taking orders and serving customers. Suddenly, the server hurriedly left the shop... with a beer keg. Ah, they must have gone to buy more. While watching this scene, the customers continued to order more drinks... I was looking forward to eating kushikatsu at a certain restaurant in Kotoni, but it turned out to be closed temporarily. Luckily, I found a nearby restaurant called "Tecchan" which was really good. They offered a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option for 550 yen. We ordered the all-you-can-drink option along with some appetizers like salted cabbage and kushikatsu skewers (quail, squid, shrimp, corn, pickled ginger, pork-wrapped pickled ginger, asparagus, onion, beef, pork, chicken, ham cutlet, salmon) which were all priced at 100 yen each. The kushikatsu at Tecchan is made with low-calorie ingredients like nagaimo and milk, and they use a blend of sesame oil and canola oil for frying, so it's easy on the stomach. We also enjoyed drinks like beer, highball, gin soda, lemon sour, and akatombare. Even though only 80 minutes had passed, we decided to leave early to make it to the next restaurant we wanted to visit. Our total bill for two people was only 3997 yen, which was quite affordable.
