After a mysterious experience, I stumbled upon a shop near Exit 5 of Shinmichitohoku Station. The sign outside advertised "Sakura Daifuku" and "Setouchi Lemon Daifuku," but inside, all I could see were breads. It looked interesting, so I decided to stop by and try something as a little treat. I peeked inside and decided on the "Setouchi Lemon Daifuku for 150 yen" since it was a limited-time offer. I also couldn't resist the summer-exclusive "Ume Daifuku for 150 yen." It seemed pretty popular. As I paid at the register, I wondered if they would put it in a bag for me, but then I noticed they had food packs like the ones you find in supermarkets with a sign saying "Feel free to use." I'm not brave enough to ask if I can eat here, though. I'll just take it home and enjoy it. The Ume Daifuku had a nice balance of sweet stewed green plums and sweet bean paste, with a hint of acidity that was delicious. The Setouchi Lemon Daifuku had lemon bean paste and lemon slices, offering a gentle and delightful flavor. Both were really tasty. If I come back here again, I'll definitely try the most popular Yomogi Daifuku. Thanks for the meal.

I visited "Daifukuya Hikari" on June 19th for the first time. This establishment is operated by the social welfare corporation Sapporo Hikari Welfare Association and has three locations nearby. Each location specializes in bread, daifuku, and chiffon cakes. While the bread looked good, I was drawn to the charm of their daifuku and decided to visit this store. I purchased: - Strawberry Daifuku (with smooth red bean paste) for 200 yen - Strawberry Daifuku (with chunky red bean paste) for 200 yen - Bacon Natural Egg for 180 yen The eggs used in the bacon natural egg dish are fertilized eggs, giving insight into the conditions of the chicken egg facility. In Sapporo and its vicinity, there are relatively few egg producers that offer fertilized eggs, probably less than a handful that I know of. Maybe I should visit their direct store sometime? While the main focus is on bread items at another location, this store also offers a small selection. The mochi used in the strawberry daifuku is made from Hakuchou rice from Furen. Furen town is now part of Nayoro city due to a municipal merger, so I wonder if this is why it is referred to by the region's name? Indeed, this area is famous for Hakuchou rice production, with the largest cultivation area in Japan, I believe. Even at the Michi no Eki in Nayoro area, they sell frozen daifuku (soft daifuku). The daifuku contains a small strawberry, and while the shape may not be outstanding, I think it is well put together in terms of cost. The mochi is made traditionally without any additives. This is how mochi without additives looks like. It tends to harden as time passes. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

Located near Higashidori Station on the new subway line in October 2022, this small bakery offers a variety of baked goods such as pastries, bread, and chiffon cakes. They seem to specialize in savory breads. I decided to try the ham and cheese bread this time. The ingredients are clearly listed, and they even provide calorie information, which is helpful. I lightly grilled the bread, and found that the dough was on the sweeter side. The bread was generously filled with ingredients, making it quite satisfying to eat.

I'm in Sapporo. It's my grandson's birthday. On the second day, I'm going to play with my second daughter's eldest son. It's tough in many ways. It's hard because my income is decreasing gradually. It's sad. I only get invited three times a year, but it will be four times next year. I have no choice but to wait for the day when I won't be invited anymore. Finally, when I said "I'll buy you something," he said he wanted to stop by Aeon. So, I'm in the passenger seat, not looking around, but I see a big noren curtain and the words "Daifuku." We walk from Aeon and try it out. My daughter also reacts and goes with me. She says, "It's a welfare store." "Mame Daifuku," "Kusa Daifuku," and "Mame Pan." So, it's Mame Pan. It's full of beans. "It should be black beans," I say. It's real mochi. It gets hard the next day. Mochi is great. It's delicious. The red bean paste is coarse. It's reasonably sweet. The texture of the beans is nice. It's delicious red bean paste.

This shop is located on the way from Subway Shinmichi Higashi Station to Aeon Motomachi. It is a shop that provides work support at a Type A employment support continuation facility. On this day, I stopped by on my way to Aeon Motomachi for shopping. I bought an Ichigo (strawberry) sandwich, a ham & onion bread, and a W cream daifuku. Later, I ate them in the hotel room where I stayed that day. They were delicious♪ I have a special attachment to Hikari no Pan because a friend's daughter used to work there. I would like to support them. If I happen to pass by again, I will actively make purchases. Thank you for the meal☆

I have purchased from this place several times. My favorites are the Yomogi Daifuku for 130 yen and the Strawberry Daifuku for 180 yen. They are delicious and have a good value. The daifuku is chewy and the sweet bean paste is not too sweet, making it easy to eat. Thank you for the meal.

I also received Sakura Mochi. The red bean paste inside had a strong cherry blossom flavor and wasn't too sweet, which was just right. The pickled cherry blossom on top was cute. I don't usually buy mochi for myself, so it was a treat. Thank you for the meal!

Here at Hikari-san, there are different types of sales formats, with both bread and daifuku options available. Today, I visited the daifuku store and tried the Bean Daifuku for ¥120. The daifuku had two choices of fillings: chunky or smooth bean paste. I chose the smooth one. The outer layer was chewy, while the inside bean paste had a perfect level of sweetness. The simplicity of the flavors, along with the addition of beans, made it delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The store has a good selection of items. There are various types of bread and daifuku, making the store exciting to explore. The store is spacious and easy to navigate. I tried a unique long yam roll bread, which was delicious even though I couldn't really taste the yam. It was a good deal with 5 pieces for 200 yen. I also bought daifuku with sweet bean paste, which was packed with filling and had beans inside, and was also reasonably priced. The daifuku can be frozen and will become soft again after about an hour and a half of natural thawing. I definitely want to visit this store again. Thank you for the meal! (⌒∇⌒)

Located on the way from my first visit to AEON Sapporo Motomachi store in April 2021 to the Subway Shin-Michikado Station, there is a shop. I initially thought that the first store was the one on the north side of Shin-Michikado, but it seems that a new one has been opened here as well. The first store also seems to be in operation. "Daifukuya Hikari" is run by the social welfare corporation Sapporo Hikari Welfare Association. I have never been to the bakery Hikari, but I have visited "Hikari Factory" in Motomachi. They offer daifuku using Hokkaido-grown "hakuchou mochi". The prices are as follows: "Strawberry Daifuku" 180 yen, "Yomogi Daifuku" 130 yen, "White Daifuku" 100 yen. You can choose between chunky or smooth red bean paste. They also have "White An" for the white daifuku. The mochi is soft and delicious. I personally prefer the yomogi with chunky red bean paste, so I enjoyed it with a cup of tea. I should visit "Bakery Hikari" soon as well.

On a certain weekday, I stopped by this shop that I had never visited before as I was passing by to have lunch. It is a shop that sells daifuku and bread located at 15-cho, Higashi 33-jo, Higashi-ku. The shop is clean and the daifuku and bread are displayed and sold in two different places due to a relocation from a nearby shop. On this day, I chose something that caught my eye from the menu. The "Strawberry Daifuku (180 yen)" was recommended by the shop and I couldn't resist buying it. When I took a bite, the mochi was relatively firm and chewy, with plenty of sweet red bean paste inside and a fresh strawberry on top. It would be irresistible for strawberry daifuku lovers. The "Tokachi Black Bean Bread (160 yen)" had a large number of black beans visible, so I bought it. When I took a bite, the big black beans burst with flavor! Personally, I prefer sweet potatoes over black beans, so the strong black bean flavor was a bit different for me, but it satisfied my bean cravings. The "Apple Pie (190 yen)" was so crumbly that I was afraid it would make a mess in the car, so I kept it in the bag for the photo. The crispy pie crust had a light buttery flavor, and the sweetness came more from the apple filling than sugar. The lack of parking in the area made it a bit difficult for me as a car user to visit. Thank you for the meal.

We opened at 9:30 on September 1st♪ I stopped by the dumpling shop in Miyanomori at 9:00, but I managed to make it in time for the opening♪ As soon as we opened, customers started coming one after another ( ; ゚Д゚) It's so popular♪ I bought chestnut daifuku, sesame daifuku, red bean paste daifuku, chocolate daifuku, smooth red bean paste daifuku, and soybean smooth red bean paste daifuku. I also got a strawberry red bean paste daifuku 15 minutes later. There seems to be various other flavors like mugwort too (sweat). Chocolate daifuku is rare, so I decided to eat it in the car on the way back♪ I was wondering if chocolate would go well with daifuku as I took a bite. It's not too sweet and surprisingly delicious! But still, it's a taste I'm not used to (laugh). However, all the daifuku here have a restrained sweetness and are very delicious♪ But it's just too popular!! (^-^; There's no social distance at all!

I often pass by this road on my way to work. One day, I noticed that there was construction going on inside a shop and they were selling bread. Eventually, I saw a sign announcing their grand opening, and before I knew it, the shop was completed. I happened to visit on the opening day. I bought some daifuku as a souvenir for my husband. The daifuku were selling quickly. I purchased a mugwort (sweet bean paste) and a white daifuku (sweet bean paste) which were quite large. Despite their size, they were priced at only 230 yen for two. The daifuku were dense and heavy, just as they appeared, and they had a satisfying taste. They were not too sweet, just delicious. They are reasonably priced and individually wrapped, making them a great option for souvenirs.
