I wanted to celebrate my colleague's birthday, so I visited this place where I could order a cake. The owner's wife is a pastry chef and runs a cake shop called "Patisserie Shushu", so if you make a reservation, they can prepare a whole cake for you. They were very kind and helped with the surprise. The food is delicious in general. It's an izakaya, but they also have some high-quality dishes. The seasonal menu is enjoyable as well. You can choose from four different appetizers. I chose kimchi tuna and my colleague chose grilled horse mackerel collar. The recommended dish from the regular menu is definitely the "rolled omelette" - the rich flavor when you bite into it is amazing! Lastly, we had a surprise with a whole cake brought out, creating a birthday event. We had it sliced and each had a quarter (with coffee), and my colleague took the remaining half home. It's a bit pricey, but the quality is good. I highly recommend this great restaurant.
