On a certain Sunday, before watching a performance by the Takarazuka Revue, I had lunch. I made a reservation just in case. The restaurant was quite busy that day, so making a reservation was the right choice. I ordered rare salmon fry. It was moist and fluffy, delicious! It was different from the oily grilled salmon, soft and tasty. The tartar sauce was delicious. The salad bar was one serving only, but when I piled it up, I found out that the lunch plate also came with salad! There were trendy vegetables like purple daikon and purple sweet potatoes. There were four types of dressings like onion dressing and tomato dressing. When I asked the person I was with for their opinion, they said all the dressings were delicious! Next to the dressings, there were salt and cumin, among others. Sprinkling cumin gave it a curry-like spicy flavor, which was also delicious. The weekly dessert (I forgot to take a picture) was a small chocolate terrine and Basque cheesecake. The terrine had sweet red beans in it, giving it a Japanese twist. It was delicious. The Basque cheesecake was moist and smooth. Delicious. It was a satisfying lunch!

On my third visit, three women in their 40s visited the restaurant for a 4500 yen course, which was our first time trying. We started with carpaccio and the dishes were as delicious as ever. However, we prefer the a la carte menu, so we would like to have another girls' night out with that next time. The drink all-you-can option with sangria and Kitty is a nice touch.

The 300g steak took a while to be served, so I had to pass the time by eating salad. The salad bar had fewer options than before, and it seemed like everything had gone up in price. The vegetables were delicious though. After about 30 minutes, the main meat dish arrived! Oh, there was salad here too, so the salad bar has become an option now. I guess I understand. The meat itself was delicious. The side salad was tasty as well. I felt very satisfied having meat after a long time. However, the value for money was not as good as before, so I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. Also, one of the staff members' service bothered me, and because it was a one-plate meal, the dressing accumulated at the bottom, making the rice taste like dressing, so I couldn't finish it. I couldn't help but compare it to before and feel a bit let down. The food is delicious, and there are many other attractive menu items, making it a popular spot for lunch. With the salad bar included, it cost 2,156 yen. Whether you think this is expensive or cheap, and the fact that the prices for other menu items are higher on weekends and holidays make weekday lunches a better deal. However, if you add the salad bar even on weekdays, the price becomes the same as weekends and holidays, losing the value for money. The weekly changing menu items are definitely more cost-effective.

On weekdays, this option was available, but it seems a bit different on weekends. I enjoyed eating lots of vegetables at the salad bar and the hamburger was delicious, so I was satisfied.

The interior of the restaurant is quite spacious with a wooden decor, and the layout of tables and long benches gives off a family restaurant vibe. There were two groups of customers already inside, and I was seated at a table near the entrance. I ordered the red snapper carpaccio and a tapas platter with four types of local meats. Starting off with a beer, I enjoyed the meal. The appetizer, a purple sweet potato salad, was delicious. However, the red snapper carpaccio was a bit disappointing as the fish was warm, which is unusual for a carpaccio dish. Even the white wine I ordered was warm, which was a letdown. I thought one of the specialties of this restaurant was natural wine. The tapas platter with the four types of local meats was quite generous, meant to be shared as an appetizer for a group, but I had it as my main dish. The chicken liver paste was smooth and creamy, perfect to spread on the crispy bread. The pork pate had a slightly unusual taste, while the roast beef was standard, and the smoked duck was exceptionally flavorful. I ended up ordering another type of wine, which was also served warm. Oh well, I decided to call it a day and pay the bill. After settling the payment, I mentioned to the staff about the issue with the temperature of the wine, so hopefully, they will improve on that in the future. The best part of the lunch is the self-service salad buffet that comes with it, where you can only go once per person. There are fresh raw vegetables and a couple of salad deli items. There are also plenty of dressing options. I loaded up my plate as much as I could since it's only once per person. After enjoying a veggie-filled plate, the roast beef bowl arrived just in time. You can choose either regular rice or barley rice, which is also popular among women. The meat was tender and the sauce mixed with the egg yolk was smooth and delicious. All of this for just 1,000 yen including tax is unbeatable! Yum!

The Salad Buffet & Course meal is highly recommended as it offers unlimited salad, a choice of main dish, pasta, and dessert - a great deal! The salads are delicious, especially when sprinkled with Bolivian rock salt. Even if you don't eat much salad, you will enjoy it here. You can also use the "Hokkaido Support Coupon" at this restaurant. I almost don't want to share this gem to avoid more crowds, but I'll post it anyway. Don't miss out on this great offer!

It is a blue building south of a tower apartment, across the Sosei River from the TV Tower to the east. This restaurant is affiliated with the liquor store "Washizu" and has a lunch sign at the entrance. I visited on a Saturday around 1 pm and found it almost full. There were a few tables available after some groups finished eating, so I waited for my turn near the entrance. Inside, there is a bar area on the right and a spacious and bright seating area with large cozy sofas and regular tables. The lunch menu includes pasta, hamburg steak, roast beef bowl, curry, etc. There is also a salad buffet where you can choose from a variety of vegetables and dressings for an additional fee. I ordered the Chicken Cutlet Curry for 950 yen. The salad buffet had about 6-7 types of vegetables, and I chose my favorites with dressing. The Chicken Cutlet Curry arrived with a generous portion of chicken cutlet, rice, and curry sauce on an oval plate. You can choose between regular rice and barley rice, and I chose the barley rice. The curry had a standard taste with minced meat and onions, but it lacked a bit of depth in flavor. It would have been better with some pickles for color and taste. Overall, the meal was satisfying, and I would like to try the hamburger steak, roast beef, red wine stewed beef bowl, or pasta next time. The staff, especially the female staff, were friendly and welcoming.

I originally planned to visit a Western-style restaurant nearby, but couldn't get in on the first try before opening, so I decided to try this place instead. The interior is quite spacious and stylish. Overall, it seems like there are a lot of female customers. I ordered the mixed fry plate with rice substituted for barley from the lunch menu. My son ordered the roast beef lunch. Lunch comes with a salad bar. There are 4 types of dressings and a good variety of vegetables, all looking quite fresh. This would probably appeal to women. The mixed fry plate includes pork cutlet, shrimp, and white fish. The shrimp and pork are decently sized, while the white fish is quite large, but the taste feels like it's from a commercial kitchen. The tartar sauce was a bit scarce, so I asked for more and they brought me plenty. It's okay, considering the price. It might be a good deal for salad lovers. My son enjoyed his roast beef bowl. For several years, I have been visiting "Cafe and Restaurant Ogari" in BM, just a few minutes' walk from the Bus Center Mae Station. The entrance has a counter with 4-5 seats on the right and 6-7 tables on the left, with a large window facing north that makes the floor bright and clean. When I visited on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was about 90% full, with only one male customer among the other female customers. The lunch menu includes "6 types of original lunch @950, 2 types of volume lunch @950, 2 types of steak lunch, and 1 type of hot and spicy lunch @1,180", all served with a salad buffet. If you use a coupon from the dining log, you can get a free drink. There is also a coupon for "60 minutes all-you-can-drink @780 (excluding tax)" for lunch only, so I recommend taking advantage of it. I ordered the "MIX fry plate @950" and the weekly pasta B "Octopus and Okra Cold Genovese @950". For drinks, I had "grapefruit" and "rooibos tea (cold)". The square plates for the salad buffet are large and can hold a good amount of food. The selection includes potato with oregano sauce, bean sprouts with sesame salt flavor, cabbage and purple cabbage coleslaw, daikon & carrot, mizuna, red onion, sunny lettuce, salad kale, trevis, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. The "Octopus and Okra Cold Genovese" was served in a chilled bowl with a basil flavor and tender octopus, lightly seasoned to my liking. I also want to mention another highlight of this restaurant. There are postcards on the tables where you can write down your details and hand them to the staff. Before your birthday, you will receive a postcard, and if you make a reservation and visit within a month of your birthday, you will receive a free steak based on your age in grams (with a condition of spending over 5,000 yen per group). It's a great service, but the portion may be too much for one person, so it's perfect for a Birthday Party with friends or family. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and while it may not be the most luxurious dining experience, it definitely has the charm of a popular restaurant. The menu at the restaurant was the same as the lunch menu listed on Tabelog, but the actual prices were different. I ended up ordering the roast beef lunch for 950 yen. You can choose one salad and one deli dish to accompany your meal. However, the deli options were different from what was shown on the official website and Tabelog. The roast beef was average, and the rice was not great. I chose barley rice but was served regular white rice instead. I was looking forward to the great cost performance based on the official website and Tabelog photos, but the reality was tough. There may be various reasons such as COVID-19 and cost increases, but I hope they update their official website.

For an additional 500 yen, you could have a buffet-style meal with lots of vegetables, which is great for those who want to eat plenty of veggies. Another thing I liked was the brightness of the restaurant. The large windows let in lots of sunlight, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I imagine it would have a different vibe in the evening, so I'd like to visit at night next time. After 12 o'clock, the restaurant was almost full. There were young women with friends, families with small children, groups of friends chatting... a variety of people. It's a place where people of all ages and genders can feel comfortable. I will definitely come back.
