On my birthday, my husband treated me to lunch at "Gran Roche." The bread served with the fantastic course meal at Gran Roche was a baguette from Panduce, and it was delicious. It complemented the dishes well and had a great texture. I realized that I had never bought a baguette from Panduce before! So, on my way back home, I headed to their main store, only to find out that they were closed on Sundays! On the way back, I found an Ad Panduce where I could eat in, but they had limited bread options. Luckily, they still had baguettes available. Since I was already full, I bought a half of a baguette for a late-night snack. At home, we had baguettes from "Bread House Bamboo" in Kyoto City's Kita-ku (also used in several restaurants in Kyoto) and "Germe" in Kyoto City's Sakyo-ku in the freezer. I compared the baguettes by defrosting and toasting them with the same toppings. They were all incredibly delicious! Even when cooled, the crust did not become too hard, and the crumb retained the moisture from the toppings without becoming soggy. My husband ranked them as follows: 1) Germe, 2) Panduce, 3) Bamboo. We prefer the bread and baguettes from Panduce in our home. The large financiers and cinnamon rolls were also delicious, but I'm not sure if Ad Panduce has them available.

I used takeout service. I had a pain au chocolat and a melon pan with tea, but the pain au chocolat was delicious! The butter flavor was very rich, and the sweetness of the chocolate was exquisite! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I am traveling around the country in search of truly delicious food. I love everything from high-end cuisine to casual dishes. 【Area】Osaka, Osaka City 【Genre】Bread 【Award】Tabelog Bread WEST Top 100 Stores 2022 【Number of Visits】First visit 【Crowdedness】Not particularly crowded 【One-word comment】Exploring the top 100 bread and sweets shops in Osaka - Part 2! This was the 7th shop I visited. Thank you for the meal. 【Evaluation Criteria】- I primarily base my scores on the taste of the food. - I also consider factors like cost performance, customer service, and ambiance. - I express my evaluation of the restaurant through scores, with comments as a bonus. - I evaluate each type of cuisine relative to others, so a high-end dish may receive a low score if it's not tasty, and vice versa for street food or casual dishes. - I periodically adjust scores for consistency. - For hotels, inns, golf courses, etc., I evaluate the entire facility on a 0.5 scale. I got takeout from the bakery "Ad Pan deus" located on the 2nd floor of the office building odona in Yodoyabashi, Osaka. I didn't have time to eat at a cafe on my way to Hiroshima for a day trip the next day, so I enjoyed the pastries on the train. Although a bit pricey, the berry and blue cheese bread was uniquely delicious.

Yodoyabashi's popular bakery, Shin-Osaka branch, was also good, so there is a sense of security. I ordered two types of bread and a cafe au lait. If you order after 1:00, you can order bread and drinks. The bread with Hokkaido lily root and the sweet bread with orange peel were both delicious. The use of vegetables was excellent. I was surprised by the price of the cafe au lait, but that was my mistake. Taste: 3.8, Cost performance: 3.7

I stopped by a bakery near my office that I had been curious about. It was after 5 pm on a weekday, so the selection of bread was limited. I chose the following breads:
- Salt bread
- Cranberry bread
- Pandumi
- Danowars
The salt bread had a slight salty taste but was missing the buttery flavor I was hoping for. The cranberry and pandumi breads had a light bread texture and were simpler than I had imagined. Danowars was a slightly sweet dessert-like bread.

In July 2023, after enjoying a curry lunch in Matsuya-cho, I headed to Yodoyabashi and visited Odonadona "add:PAINDUCE" to look for some morning bread. The bread at Panduce is always delicious, so I knew I was in for a treat. I wish I could have eaten in, but I was already full, so I bought four different types of bread to take home: Chocolate Noisette for 370 yen, Panduce's salt bread for 310 yen, Prune and Blood Orange Peel French bread for 320 yen, and Galette Presanne for 350 yen. They may be a bit pricey, but they are all so delicious. Personally, I especially enjoyed the Chocolate Noisette and Galette Presanne. Oh, and the Prune and Blood Orange Peel too. Of course, the salt bread was great as well (basically, all of them). Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I heard from a friend that this lotus root bread is delicious, so I decided to buy it right away! It's a slightly luxurious bread for Saturday morning breakfast, priced at 450 yen per piece. The main ingredient is lotus root, with a layer of white sauce and bacon underneath, giving it a gratin-like taste. The lotus root is crunchy and incredibly delicious, with a addictive flavor. Although it may look a bit difficult to eat, the lotus root sticks well to the white sauce, making it easy to eat without worrying about it falling apart. I would like to buy it again for a little luxury on the weekend! ^ ^

I visited for lunch and had the pasta lunch set. It came with salad, bread, potato salad, and it felt like a well-balanced meal. Both the bread and pasta were delicious. The potato salad had a curry flavor which wasn't to my liking, but if you don't mind curry flavor, you might enjoy it. The restaurant had a moderate number of customers even during weekday lunch hours, making it a comfortable dining experience.

On Tuesday around 2 pm, I use this place for business meetings and they only bring bread from their main store nearby. If you want to buy bread, it's better to go to the main store. I like this shop because they have bread made with 100% whole wheat flour. They also have bread made with 100% pesticide-free domestic wheat. I don't usually eat wheat flour, but I will eat it if it's 100% Japanese wheat flour that the producers put their thoughts into. This is a shop that I like and want to recommend to my friends. I will only post 5 stars on Instagram for shops that I love and want to visit again and share with my friends.

C Lunch Smoke Cheeseburger ¥1100
Honestly, there was no smoky flavor, but the bread was soft and substantial, and the buns were meaty with minimal filler, making it delicious. They didn't use heavy sauces, instead opting to rely on the taste of the ingredients. Unlike at a certain hamburger chain, where I usually ask for no mustard and pickles, it wasn't a big deal here because the flavors weren't overpowering.

I couldn't make it in time for lunch, so I couldn't order from the lunch menu, but I had bread in the store. The sandwiches were warmed up when I ate them in the store. I could taste the sweetness of the vegetables and enjoy the different sauces! The croissant had a nice sweetness and I really loved it!

I revisited the restaurant where I had the tomato stew with pork last time, but they were sold out so I had the stuffed cabbage rolls instead. Bread was refillable, and it came with a salad. Similar to the tomato stew, the stuffed cabbage rolls were filled with lots of chunky vegetables. Just like last time, all the vegetables were cooked through but still had a nice crunch. It was a bit tough to cut through even with a knife, so I struggled a bit. Personally, I wish the vegetables were a bit softer, but the flavor was just right. There was plenty of food, so I felt satisfied. I could have gotten more bread, but I decided to pass this time. Thanks for the meal!

I used the restaurant for lunch on a regular day. The interior of the restaurant was filled with women, I was the only man. It felt like a popular spot among office ladies, not a lunch spot for middle-aged men. The lunch menu seemed to consist of standard items, with a variety of options making it hard to choose. Even if you come every day, it seems like you could rotate through the menu. I ordered a hamburger and stew. The hamburger was to my liking, with a firm patty but juicy and satisfying. The stew was just average. The stuffed cabbage that someone else ordered looked delicious. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I visited Ad Pandus in Yodoyabashi. The restaurant is popular for lunch, especially their hamburgers, but they also sell bread. The place gets crowded during lunchtime. Today, I bought a chocolate cream bread and a bread with potatoes and lotus root mixed in. The chocolate cream bread had a light texture and a slightly bitter chocolate cream, which was not too sweet. The bread with lotus root added a nice texture and flavor. Overall, both were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Underground Midosuji Line "Yodoyabashi Station" 10th Exit directly connected to the Tabelog Top 100 ✨ I've been curious about it for a while and finally made it here. ○ Vegetable-packed soup lunch (¥900) A generous salad and a hefty BLT sandwich ✨ The soup is made of new onion, with a gentle sweetness. The potato salad has a curry flavor. The bread is a wheat-flavored, chewy bread with tomatoes, lettuce, thick bacon, and a lot of volume ♪ (The air conditioning was quite strong, so the soup would have been better warm...) However, being a top 100 restaurant, it was already full before noon. The pasta and gratin also looked delicious, so I want to come back on a day off and enjoy a leisurely lunch next time (╹◡╹)♡

Near Yodoyabashi Station in Osaka. A bakery with a variety of bread. It feels more like a bakery with a restaurant attached. Croissant for 300 yen, Pain au Chocolat for 340 yen, etc. The croissant is crispy and has a nice buttery aroma. The area doesn't seem to have a lot of foot traffic, so it seems like a nice place to enjoy a leisurely lunch. Good find!

Panduce, a bakery with a chain of stores including the main branch and branch stores, is known for winning the title of one of the top 100 bakeries. This was my first visit to the Ad Panduce store in Yodoyabashi. It's convenient that they sell bread until 7 pm, so I can stop by after work. The location at Yodoyabashi Odona, directly connected to Yodoyabashi Station, is excellent. I entered the store after 6 pm and was glad that there was still bread in stock.
- Baked Curry Bread: ¥310 including tax
This is a collaboration product with Navin, a famous Indian restaurant in Kyomachi-bori, who created an original curry for Panduce. The curry bread has a thick crust with a hint of sweetness, and the curry itself has a strong spicy flavor typical of Indian cuisine. It was a great deal to be able to taste the flavors of two famous restaurants in one bread, and it was delicious.
- Lotus Root and Anchovy Bread: ¥380 including tax
When you think of Panduce, you think of vegetable bread. The lotus root has a crunchy texture, and it becomes mellow with white sauce, while the anchovy adds a sophisticated flavor accent. It was delicious. The burgers and sandwiches for eat-in also looked tasty, so I would like to try them next time. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing work on Friday, I decided to go out for dinner at a restaurant called PAINDUCE on the 2nd floor of Yodoyabashi odona. It was surprisingly empty when I arrived around 6:30 pm. I was a bit disappointed to find out they only served wine at night, so I ordered a Chardonnay and some food. The carrot soup was delicious and not too sweet, and the Quattro Formaggi pizza was small but tasty. The wine recommended by the staff was rich and flavorful. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I would like to try their lunch or buy some bread next time. Yodoyabashi has so many great restaurants, it's always enjoyable to explore the area.

There was a shop on the second floor of a new building. It was getting dark, so there were only a few types of bread left, but they had the galette bread that I was curious about. Both square and mountain-shaped loaves of bread were still available. If you live nearby, it would be convenient to have bread left in the evening for breakfast the next day. The bread used domestically grown wheat, blending several varieties such as "Yumechikara" and "Harukirari", kneaded gently to create a flavorful and carefully crafted product. The shop owner was a friendly man with a bright atmosphere. The menu card was easy to understand, with details about the points of emphasis and even the names of the producers of the vegetables used, conveying their dedication to quality ingredients. There was just one customer before me, and another arrived after I made my purchase. I don't know how busy it gets during the day or on weekends, but my shopping experience was comfortable. I enjoyed some of the bread at the hotel and took the rest home. The Lily Root Galette was a dish topped with Hokkaido-grown Lily Root. It was made using Mr. Date's Shiragane Lily Root. The dough contained whole wheat flour, resulting in a flavorful, chewy texture with a good bite. The Lily Root was sweet and tender. Just as described in the menu card, the Lily Root ingredient was delicious! The Walnut Rustic was a small rustic bread with a good crunchy texture from the fragrant walnuts. The bread dough itself had a great flavor. The Raspberry had a dessert-like quality to it. It had a moist almond cream, a hint of Kirsch in the dough, and a crispy exterior. It would pair well with tea. There was also a cafe space, and being in a business district, it would likely be popular during lunchtime. If it were nearby, I would definitely stop by this stylish bakery!
