In Hokkaido, there is a large-scale power outage due to the impact of the earthquake. I hope for a quick recovery and for everyone to return to their normal lives as soon as possible. I used to live in Yubari for about half a year, where I often visited this old store. It used to be located in Shimizusawa, but now it's in the backstreets of Minamishimizusawa along Route 1008. The store is run by the Shimizusawa Academy for the Disabled. I used to order their curry over the phone from work, and it was always delicious and affordable at 500 yen, with a side salad. The new store is beautiful, with a glass-walled dining area. The beef curry is my go-to order, although the flavor of the curry has changed slightly since they moved. The staff is always friendly and energetic, which makes me want to support this place. Thank you for the meal.

Welcome! ┌¬o* * * 2013.10 ↓ As one of the challenges of the Aniki of the Yubaribari, Yoichibari, and Minamikiyosuwa districts, I came to support people who are working hard but only on weekdays. It took me an hour to find the place that had been completely renovated and relocated (currently in the process of applying for management, the exterior photos show the previous and current locations, but now it is combined with a bakery |o| °д°)ガラララー I was welcomed by a group of people with disabilities and a lady. ┌¬o I sat at the counter to eat curry and even though I could only speak broken Japanese, the person who served me was polite and served the food with a smile. There are all kinds of people, but it is clear that we all share the same heart as human beings. "Currently, if you order the weekly special menu for the Halloween event, you will receive a pumpkin." I automatically assumed that the recommended "mushrooms" included shiitake mushrooms because of the child's brain. I even came up with a cool idea for the toppings. Although only locals come here, for some reason, about 90% of the customers are elderly men. Do women not prefer this kind of place? Maybe there are just fewer women in this area. "Oh, sorry to keep you waiting!" Here comes the mushroom curry on a heavy plate. The pickled radish and the subtly colored fukujinzuke are delightful. The curry sauce is thick and sticky, making it easy to mix with the rice. The strong umami flavor of the beef adds depth and makes the meal more enjoyable. The sweetness of the mushrooms cooked later is delicious. The pumpkin, which seemed to be fried, has a nice sautéed texture and a sweet flavor. The spiciness of the mushrooms is mild, so it was a gentle and delicious taste for me. There was also a "spicy spice" on the table for adjusting the spiciness. I was happy with the portion size, but I regret not ordering extra rice as the amount of curry was substantial. The salad with ponzu dressing is refreshing and complements the spicy curry well. The restaurant is always crowded during lunchtime, possibly because there are no other dining options nearby. Many people come here just to buy bread, so the convenience of the area is good. It was a great experience to come back here and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Instead of coming here because there is nothing else, people come here seeking this taste and environment. I thought that if we can activate even a little, it would be great. Thank you for the meal!
