The restaurant posted their daily special on Instagram stories, but I couldn't check it in the morning due to moving. I took a chance and jumped in, and they made one for me! It was quite an irregular response, so it's better to check in advance. The Honey Glow Pine Pine was unexpectedly sweet with no acidity, not the sharp acidity I expected. It had just the right amount of sweetness without being cloying, and the cream was milky and paired well with the pineapple. The portion size was quite generous, and considering the high cost of living in the area, the price seemed reasonable. I was tempted by the Shine Muscat as well, but it was a bit pricey, so I passed on it. Looking back, I think I should have gone for the Shine as well.

[Takeout Available] Established in 1958, this local fruit shop mainly focuses on wholesaling to local restaurants and selling fruit assortments for ceremonies. They also offer retail sales at their store and have fruit smoothies available for takeout. The shop relocated and opened on October 31, 2020. It is located about 150m from the intersection in front of Yoichi Station, a few minutes' walk from JR Yoichi Station. I visited the shop on November 1, 2020, around 3:30 pm. The staff recognized me from when I used to visit their previous location by bicycle. They joked about me not coming by bike that day. It was a series of coincidences that led me to their new location. The shop had a variety of fruits, including local apples and persimmons. I purchased some apples, persimmons, prunes, and rare Okinawan bananas. The fruits were all very sweet and delicious. I especially enjoyed the unique flavor of the Okinawan bananas, which were hard to come by. I look forward to visiting again to try more of their fruits.

Just opened in November 2020, this fruit shop in Yoshibi is filled with beautiful floral arrangements. Although I'm not particularly interested in buying fruit myself, I couldn't help but fall in love with the island bananas here. They are very small, cute, and delicate. They are hung up, and when the color changes, they are ready to eat. It took me a while to remember the last time I ate a banana, but these are not very sweet, more like adult bananas. They go well with alcohol. This fruit shop seems to have a lot of fruits that are difficult to handle, but it is very charming. I would love to visit here when I'm in the area.

★Honey Glow Pine 600 yen - More than worth it ε=(ノ・∀・)ツ Located along National Route 5, diagonally across from Kakizaki Shoten, a long-standing fruit store established in 1958. They offer seasonal smoothies made with about three types of fresh fruits at all times. Reservations are required on weekends and holidays, starting from 3pm the day before and up to 30 minutes before your visit. If there are available slots, last-minute reservations are also accepted. Each order is freshly cut and extracted using a slow juicer, without using ice but frozen fruits instead. Due to fruit allergies, I opted for the relatively safe choice of "pineapple." The generous serving of juicy and tangy pineapple, combined with a mild acidity from fresh cream, made this 600 yen smoothie a great deal. In Sapporo, you would expect to pay over 1,000 yen for something similar. Thank you for the delicious treat! (^ω^)

The fancy shop turned out to be a fruit shop. They mentioned that it was the peak season for fruits in Yoichi. Even though they said the selection was limited due to the changing season, the cherries looked delicious so I might buy some. They even gave me a little extra as a bonus ♡ They had smoothie options at the register, and I wanted one because it was hot! I wanted watermelon, but it was the same price as the Yubari melon, so I went with the Yubari melon. The 100% smoothie with no sugar or added water took a bit of time to make. They topped it off with a melon ball, and it was delicious with a natural sweetness that wasn't overpowering. And all this for only 500 yen! Truly a great deal for a fruit specialty shop. The conversation was enjoyable, and I gained some useful information. I also want to stop by to buy some peaches next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal ♡
