I often have Fridays off, so even though I always plan to go, I often can't make it due to other commitments. Today, I managed to go around 1:30 pm and bought some walnut bread, orange pekoe tea, chocolate scones, and plain scones. I wanted to get milk bread too, but I had to leave soon so I had to pass on it. The bakery is located in a residential area and is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays unless there is a special event. There is a park nearby, so it should be easy to find on a map. You can also check out more information on Instagram. I love the bread here, so I'll try to go earlier next time.

I visited a bakery that I love, which uses homemade natural yeast for their bread. They put a lot of effort into making their bread without using commercial yeast. I saw their lineup on Instagram and couldn't resist going there. The "Lemon Weekend" bread looked so delicious with its icing and lemon peel topping. It's a fluffy and buttery bread with lots of lemon peel inside, perfect for lemon lovers like me. I wish I had bought more. I'll definitely go back to get it again. Lemon club members, you have to try this! ❤️

I had a hearty breakfast at a hotel in Shiraoi, bought some snacks for celebrating my safe arrival at Bitters in Chitose Mall, and then searched for natural yeast bread. I ended up at Orange Peko in a residential area, where I managed to park my car in the snow and went inside the shop. I asked if it was okay to take photos of the products, and they asked what I would use them for. I said Instagram, and they agreed, so I only took pictures of the exterior and the products. The next day, I tried the bread I bought, including a multigrain bread with oats, sunflower seeds, and sesame, a red bean bun made with sake lees yeast, and an egg sandwich made with free-range eggs. The multigrain bread was chewy and had a subtle flavor, the red bean bun had a delicate taste of sake lees, and the egg sandwich was described as filling with half an egg in it. Overall, I was impressed by the variety of cute breads at the shop, and I also noted the unusually heavy snowfall in the area this year.

On a certain holiday, while returning from having lunch, I visited a bakery in Chitose City, Jiyugaoka, which I had bookmarked. There seems to be parking space for about 2 cars in front of the store. The bakery is located in a detached house-like building, and as soon as you enter the store, you are greeted by visually appealing and stylish bread. From the menu on that day, I chose a few items based on intuition from the displayed shelves. According to the information, they use homemade natural yeast, locally produced wheat flour, and local ingredients in their home studio. The "An Butter (310 yen)" was larger than the average an butter, and when I took a bite, I noticed something different. The white bread dough had an interesting flavor... I suddenly felt like it was made with soy milk? The gentle sweetness of the red bean paste and the butter, which seemed to have reduced saltiness and oiliness despite the size, resulted in an overall mild finish. The "Orange Peco (290 yen)" caught my attention because the name of the store was on the product, and when I held it, it was slightly heavier. When I took a bite, I thought, "Hmm? This is different too!" Inside was a light cheese filling, not custard, and maybe white chocolate? The orange peel on top combined with the dough was something I had never tasted before. The "Basil, Walnut, Cheese Epi (300 yen)" caught my eye because of the cheese on the edge, and when I took a bite, I realized it was a bouncy epi-like flavor with the addition of the texture of walnuts in the good-flavored dough. The right amount of oiliness came from the cheese, and as for the basil... I wonder if it's there? I enjoyed various bread with attention to detail that seemed to be quietly operating in a corner of a residential area. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about this place for a while, but the limited opening days made it difficult for me to visit. This was my first time going there. It was located in a residential area, so it took me a bit of time to find it, but I eventually arrived. There is parking space for about two cars in front of the store. The interior of the store is not very spacious, so there was a limit on the number of customers allowed inside due to COVID-19 precautions. Luckily, there were no customers ahead of me, so I was able to enter without waiting. I purchased three items and enjoyed them at home. The red bean butter had a moderate sweetness with thick slices of butter, which paired well with the soft bread. The almond praline had a chewy texture with coffee flavor and whole almonds, allowing me to enjoy the different textures. The pita bread with plenty of chili con carne beans had a perfect level of spiciness and was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

"I want to eat bread!" Sometimes I get that craving. But since I have already eaten at "Pen**n Be** Curry" multiple times, I decided to change my plans and drive from my home to Chitose to visit "Orange Peko" instead. Last time, I talked about a bakery at "Café L**", and this review is about the bakery I visited this time! It seems like they sell bread made with homemade natural yeast. This is my first time trying this type of bread, so I'm excited with high expectations! There were two cars parked outside the store, and two more customers arrived after me, so it seems like it is well-loved by the local people. They are open only three days a week, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, which might make it easier for people with different work schedules to visit compared to stores that are only open on weekdays! I didn't do any research on the bread beforehand, so after contemplating for about a minute, I purchased the "Orange Peko (¥290)" and the "Campagne (¥480)". I sliced the Campagne into four pieces to enjoy the next day! In the morning before work, I warmed up the Campagne in a toaster oven, spread some butter on it, and enjoyed it. The crispy texture on the outside is best enjoyed when heated in an oven. If you want to taste the crispy texture only on the outside, it's best to warm it up before slicing it, but this time, I wanted to taste the crispy texture... The outside was perfectly crispy! The inside was not as crispy as I expected, it had a chewy texture. The taste of wheat was prominent throughout, giving a rustic impression. The savory aroma of freshly baked bread enhances the flavor even more. Even with butter spread on it, I could still taste the original flavor of the bread. The Orange Peko seems to be a specialty product, with a chewy texture and white chocolate inside. The tangy and sweet flavors of the sliced oranges blend nicely, and it might taste even better when chilled. The owner's service was good, and I would definitely like to visit this bakery again. Next time, I would like to try a different type of bread. Thank you for the meal."

Near the business supermarket in Chitose, there is a bakery. I visited around noon, but unfortunately, they didn't have the bread I was interested in from Instagram. I bought a Cheese Kuppe for 290 yen, An Cream Cheese for 300 yen, and an Egg Sandwich for 310 yen, totaling 900 yen. The bread was soft but heavy, and I really liked the Egg Sandwich bread. I'll have to try going there right when they open next time.

I had been interested in a bakery in Chitose City, which is located in a residential area. This bakery is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. When I had some business in the Chitose area the other day, I decided to stop by (*^^*). The exterior looks like a regular house, but the interior of the bakery has a high-class and chic atmosphere. The owner himself is in charge of sales, and he kindly allowed me to take photos. Thank you very much (*´∀`)ノ The bread baked with homemade natural yeast all looked delicious, so I had a hard time choosing and ended up buying three items. The Bacon Epi (300 yen including tax) was delicious, with plenty of cheese on top of a crispy Bacon Epi. The Focaccia (300 yen including tax) had paprika and asparagus on top, and the texture, possibly due to whole wheat flour, was pleasantly chewy. The balance of cheese was also good and tasty. The An Butter (310 yen including tax) was a fluffy white bread sandwiched with plenty of red bean paste and butter. The sweetness was almost non-existent, and the flavor of the red bean paste was strong, which might be a matter of personal preference, but it was quite good. I am curious about the other bread as well, so I would like to visit again! Thank you, "Peko"!

My daughter Hiro-chan's favorite bakery is also my wife's favorite! Yesterday, we were recommended this place and decided to go. Wife: "Wow, I want to try everything!" Me: "Then, why don't we buy everything?" Owner: "It depends on the day, but everything is popular." The lighting fixtures and interior are lovely. Despite saying we wanted everything, we ended up only buying four items. It seems they are quite pricey... The bread was deliciously soft. Raisin bread: 410 yen, Mascarpone: 340 yen, Orange pekoe: 290 yen, Apple bread: 300 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

A weekend-only bakery in a residential street that uses natural yeast, which I was curious about. The interior is woody and has a touch of luxury, which is lovely. There are so many types of bread that it's hard to choose. I ended up buying similar ones, like the nut roll and cinnamon roll. Both have a dense texture with a heavy dough similar to a bagel. They match well with cinnamon and sweetness. The crust of the bread is like a baguette! It gave me the impression of a solid meal bread. I personally like this kind of bread, but I wonder how seniors or children would feel about it, as it has a strong chewiness. I want to try something different next time. Thank you for the meal!

I found out that a new bakery had opened in the city and I couldn't wait to go there. It was said to be a bakery that focuses on natural yeast and locally sourced wheat, so my expectations were high! As a bread lover, I was eager to go as soon as possible. However, the bakery is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so I couldn't go right away. I tried to go the day after it opened, but there were so many cars that I had to give up. I searched on Tabelog and saw that some of my followers had already been there and mentioned that they also have hard bread. I like hard bread, but it's hard to find places that sell it in the city, so I was curious about this bakery that focuses on natural yeast and locally sourced wheat. Finally, the day came when I could go, and I entered the bakery where only two customers were coming out. The interior of the store seemed to be part of a home, but it was clean and cozy, with stylish displays. I went around lunchtime and everything looked delicious, so I had a hard time deciding what to buy. I talked to the staff, asked for recommendations, and ended up buying several types of bread. I also bought a new product, the strawberry anpan, and a black soybean and cheese epi, among others. Here are the items I purchased: - Strawberry Anpan (new product) - 280 yen - Salted Butter Roll - 160 yen - Epi (black soybean cream cheese) - 300 yen - Melange (hard bread dough) - 350 yen - Orange Peko - 290 yen I bought these five items. The prices seemed a bit high, but considering the use of natural yeast and locally sourced wheat, I thought it was justified. I had the epi for breakfast the next morning, and it had a firm crust, a soft interior with a perfect combination of soybean and cheese, and a chewy texture. I had the strawberry anpan in the evening, and it had mochi inside, which I enjoyed. The bread dough also had a strawberry flavor, and the combination of strawberry and sweet red bean paste was delightful. The mochi made with joshinko (rice flour) was a bit hard the next day, but it still tasted great. I wanted to try other items, but I had already bought dinner on my way back from work, so I'll save them for tomorrow. The bakery also has an Instagram and a website, but since I don't use Instagram, I checked out their website. The atmosphere in the store was bright, the staff were friendly, and since there were no other customers, I chatted with them a bit, and they allowed me to take photos of the products. The ingredients and expiration dates were clearly labeled on the back of each product, making it easy to understand. The bakery is a bit hard to find on the map, but it's located near Jiyugaoka Park in Chitose City. If you're coming from the Development Bureau intersection and heading towards Gyomu Super, turn left before Gyomu Super towards Ebetsu, then continue straight and you'll see the park on your right. Turn right after passing the park, and you'll see a sign outside on opening days. There is parking space for two cars. There were many delicious items to choose from, so I will definitely go back when I have a day off work that falls on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. They also have milk-free bread, and I don't remember seeing eggs listed in the ingredients of the other items. Bread lovers, be sure to check it out!

The other day, I found out about Orange Peko (270 yen + 8% tax), Angel's White Bread (150 yen + 8% tax), and Petit Fruits (180 yen + 8% tax) from a flyer at Cafe Yamadayasan. When I went right after they opened, there was a long line outside so I decided to come back later. When I visited on a Saturday afternoon, there was no line, and I was able to purchase without any items being sold out. The shelves were still well stocked, but I heard they were running low. The bakery is located in a residential area and is open three days a week on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. They have parking space for two cars in front of the store, which used to be a renovated home. The bread is made using homemade natural yeast and is on the harder side. The store is run by two women, who I assume are the owners. I bought the Orange Peko bread, which had delicious orange slices and white chocolate inside. The Angel's White Bread was cute and simple, with no filling inside. The Petit Fruits bread, with raisins, was a tasty snack. I usually don't like hard bread, but these had just the right amount of chewiness. Previously, they only did events and online sales without a physical store, but it seems like meeting customers face-to-face is challenging, as I read on Instagram. They had other delicious-looking bread, including sandwich bread, that caught my eye. Thank you for the meal.

This is a place review. It was difficult to explain the location in Chitose City, so as always, please check the detailed location on the map on Tabelog. I received information from a spy in Chitose City that a new bakery was opening, so I was curious and went to the store. I confirmed the location on the map and arrived at the store, which was located right in the middle of a residential area, with the store being a part of a renovated house. I parked my car in the front parking lot and entered the store. The interior was small. I saw a variety of soft and hard bread inside. This time, I purchased "Negi Miso" and "An Butter" from the soft bread selection and left the store. Back at home, I first tried the "Negi Miso". The bread was quite firm with a slightly sour taste, and the negi miso, which was miso-flavored chicken, didn't have much of a negi (green onion) taste. Next, I tried the "An Butter". The bread was quite moist, and the an (sweet red bean paste) had a mild sweetness and was easy to eat, with the salty butter enhancing the flavor of the an. Next time I visit the store, I definitely want to try the hard bread made with natural yeast that caught my interest.

I purchased the Live Red Fig Noah bread at Orange Pekoe, which opened today on December 6, 2020 at 1-13-8 Jiyugaoka, Chitose City. It cost 385 yen. I didn't know what kind of bread it was, but it contained walnuts and figs inside. It was a unique bread with a chewy texture due to the natural yeast, and the combination of figs and walnuts was something I had never tasted before. Orange Pekoe is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and it seems to be a home-based shop in a residential area of Jiyugaoka. When I visited, the bread was selling out fast, and they were following COVID-19 safety measures by limiting the number of customers inside. The Live Red Fig Noah bread I tried contained 10% rye. It might be worth trying out their natural yeast bread. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Orange Pekoe 1-13-8 Jiyugaoka, Chitose City 0123-42-5113 11:00-18:00 Open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
