"Uncle Pepper" I'm alone in Asahikawa on a weekday. Today is the day when my wife comes home late, so I will go home slowly. I was worried if I could get takeout curry from the restaurant, but when I saw the photos on Tabelog, it said "Takeout available," so I decided to call. A man answered the phone. "Can I get takeout?" I asked. "Yes, you can," he replied. "I'd like one serving of pork curry roux only, please." "Understood. Please come before 3 o'clock, as we close then." Do I have to hurry to make it in time? I was planning to stop by another place first, but that won't make it in time. I barely made it before the deadline. There was a sign on the door saying "Haircut 3,000 yen," is this a barbershop or a beauty salon? I looked around from above the store. Is it a separate place? But I could smell the curry, so it must be the right place. Even though it was closed, there was a customer eating alone inside. He stood up when I said, "I'm Keipon!" But this guy didn't even respond. It seemed like he was just a regular customer getting up to get a tissue to blow his nose. I got frustrated for no reason. I've been blaming others to survive. An old man came out of the kitchen, so I said again, "I'm Keipon!" I got a paper bag for 550 yen. The old man had the same face as the sign outside. It was in a Cup Noodles container. Wait, isn't that different? I recently decided to eat three meals a day and reduced my alcohol intake slightly. Eating breakfast and lunch made me eat less at night, and I ended up losing weight. I've been drinking more water, not necessarily for health reasons, but to avoid gaining weight. So tonight, since I haven't eaten much and have to write about it, I'll finish with the curry I bought yesterday. Rice is just a side dish. I don't eat much rice even though I love curry. When it was in the cup, it seemed watery, but when I poured it onto a plate, it held its shape. It's not watery. The smell is medicinal. I don't like the smell of medicine, but it's not as strong as the smell suggests. It must be because of the spices. It's delicious. The old man didn't seem like a spice user, but he's quite skilled. Despite the spiciness, it's not hot, so you can add more spice to your liking. I don't want to ruin the flavor, so I'll eat it as is. It was a delicious curry. My wife also liked it."
