It's a wonderful shop. Located next to a bookstore catering to young people, this shop is on the first floor of a hostel. Everything about it is just right - the food is great! It's perfect for relaxing alone with a beer after a long day, or for having a good time with your partner or friends. The grilled marinated chili peppers have a nice crunch and are perfect as a snack with drinks, while the fried spring rolls are a must-try with their impressive colors and texture. You can proudly introduce this shop to your wife as a great find! Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely come back!

I visited Haruya-san, which I had been curious about for a while. I thought it might be a little intimidating from the outside, but once I entered, it was very calming. I tried the octopus rice bowl for lunch and added spring rolls. The tomato, nagaimo (Chinese yam), and egg soup served at the beginning was delicious. The main dish of chicken in black vinegar and the octopus rice bowl were also delicious. The spring rolls I ordered were large, filled with plenty of vegetables, and piping hot. The portions were generous, but I managed to finish everything comfortably. I was able to enjoy my lunch leisurely. I felt the meticulousness in the dishes and was very satisfied. I would like to visit again!

When I went to Sapporo the other day, I went to "Haruya" for lunch. I had eaten there at an event before and it was delicious, so I was curious about their lunch menu. The newly opened restaurant was already more than half full, so I was glad I came early. I sat at the counter and ordered the daily lunch set with an additional octopus rice. The main dish was stir-fried lamb with sweet bean sauce, and the combination of onions, Chinese cabbage, and egg soup was absolutely delicious. The octopus rice was also delicious, with fresh octopus and a hint of sansho pepper. I also ordered an extra spring roll since it didn't come with the set, and it was crispy and tasty. When paying, I chatted a bit and also bought some homemade chili oil. I look forward to coming back with friends for dinner next time!

Before the state of emergency was declared, I had lunch at Gohan-ya Haruya for the first time in a while. They were only allowing entry for groups of two or more, so I was able to enjoy a quiet lunch. The spring rolls with seasonal vegetables and shrimp were delicious and satisfying! They were so filling that I had to take one home. The octopus rice dish was refreshing and tasty with fresh octopus and sansho pepper. Even though dining out may not be possible for a while, they offer takeout which I highly recommend. Colinkey and salted pickled wood ear mushrooms and snow peas stir-fry, sautéed chrysanthemum greens and oysters, chicken with black pepper, simmered pork belly with black vinegar, beer, and 4 cups of sake. The total was 9000 yen, divided by 2 equals 4500 yen. This day at the Japanese-style creative cuisine restaurant, the vegetable dishes were a bit less light than usual, but all were easy to eat and very delicious. Next time, I want to try the rolled omelet and spring rolls.

This shop located about a 1-minute walk from Kita 18-jo Station is on the first floor of a hotel and has a very nice atmosphere. We started with a toast with a Greybe, a beer mixed with grapefruit juice. - Broccoli with sansho pepper: The dish had a nice accent of sansho pepper and a pickled-like sour taste. - Pork simmered in black vinegar: The tender meat was finished with a sweet and sour sauce. - Dashimaki tamago: The fluffy texture of the egg was outstanding. - Anago tempura: The crispy batter and fluffy anago with a simple seasoning of salt and pepper were just right. - Shrimp and vegetable spring rolls: The crispy batter, juicy shrimp, and plenty of vegetables inside were delicious. All the dishes were tasty! The staff were also very attentive and friendly. Thank you for the meal.

When I traveled to Hokkaido, I tried spring rolls, which may seem odd to some people. But I really wanted to try them and it was definitely the right choice. I had a lunch of spring rolls and octopus rice. I sat at the counter and quickly ordered the spring rolls and octopus rice without hesitation. I could hear the sound of the spring rolls frying right in front of me. The colorful cross-section of the spring rolls was a refreshing change from the usual ingredients like glass noodles, bamboo shoots, and wood ear mushrooms. The crispy hot skin and crunchy fillings, seasoned with salt, were delicious. It was hard to take a big bite because it was so hot, but it was really tasty. I discovered a new kind of spring roll that can wrap such ingredients! Then there was the octopus rice, which was incredibly flavorful. It wasn't too strong or too light, perfectly complementing the star of the show, the spring rolls. I got to experience the wonderful relationship between the spring rolls and octopus rice. While I appreciate the local specialties, this is a restaurant I would definitely visit again when in Hokkaido. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I felt like I was in a lifestyle magazine at this cozy little restaurant. The food and atmosphere were heartwarming and very comfortable. The spring rolls I had were the most amazing I've ever tasted! They were packed with hot vegetables and plump shrimp, absolutely delicious. The octopus rice dish was also excellent, with firm rice, fragrant sansho pepper, and tender octopus. A delightful experience overall!

I visited Haruya, located near Kita 18 Jo Station in front of Hokkaido University. There is no parking lot, but there are two spaces available at the nearby Lipark. The entrance is shared with a hostel, and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a wood stove. There was a small sign that said "Takomeshi," so I decided to try it along with other dishes. I ordered a coffee, but it was a bit too acidic and lacked aroma, served in a cup without a handle. The food was prepared slowly by a single chef in the kitchen. The fluffy rolled omelette was beautifully cooked and delicious. The portion of deep-fried tofu was generous, and the pepper-flavored fried chicken was crispy and addictive. The takomeshi, with pepper as an accent and tender octopus, was very tasty. Although the location is a bit hard to find, I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere is lovely, and it's a great place for a woman to have a quick dinner and a light drink alone. The evening set meal is 1300 yen, and I believe the coffee was from Ishida Coffee, which I think is Brazilian? It was very delicious and bitter, so I would like to go back again.

The interior is designed in a traditional house cafe style, with exposed concrete as part of the decor. The lighting is soft and soothing, with yellow naked light bulbs adding to the ambiance. I visited for lunch on a weekday and was the first customer, with only one other person arriving later. I ordered the octopus rice with miso soup and two spring rolls set for 1100 yen. The octopus rice was perfectly cooked with a nice texture and delicious flavors of octopus and broth, making it very appetizing. The miso soup, made with red miso, seaweed, and tofu, had a classic and flavorful taste. The spring rolls were crispy and filled with fresh seasonal vegetables, making them a tasty treat. I have been a customer since it was originally located in Maruyama. It has now moved to Kita 18-jo and seems to have a guesthouse or B&B attached. The interior is warm yet stylish, with spacious wooden tables and a counter. The dishes all look delicious, and I end up ordering a lot. I can't remember the exact names of the dishes, but the lamb dish is especially tasty. I always order it. I love the healthy and delicious dishes made with vegetables. They also have tasty Japanese sake, so I find myself stopping by often. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but for two people to drink and eat as much as they want, it costs around 13,000 yen. Even so, I will definitely come back. I wonder if the wood stove at the entrance will be in use during the winter.

I went out for dinner last night. The restaurant had about 9 seats at the counter and a table that could fit about 6 people. It was a stylish place with a beautiful mom cooking delicious food. Every dish was really tasty. I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I come back to Sapporo.

Haruya at Subway Kitajuhachi-jo is now warming the shop with a stylish wood stove since November. Their croquettes have a spicy twist, elevating the taste to a Haruya-style level. They offer delicate dishes in both size and flavor. The smoked cheese with mascarpone (cream cheese) is perfect as a snack with alcohol, wine, or shochu. I learned about this dish from Haru-san and bought it at a department store to try it myself. I couldn't stop eating it! The white carrot cream cheese also had a hint of carrot flavor and a crispy texture, making it delicious to enjoy.
