Sapporo Station. It was my first time entering the Sapporo Station premises as I have rarely taken JR trains within Sapporo city, and even when I went to Hakodate about 10 years ago, I used the train from Shin-Sapporo Station. As I was looking around curiously, I noticed this shop. I often visit the Rain Bake in Tsutaya at Bishkek, so I decided to buy a muffin. I chose the "Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Muffin" (399 yen). The muffin had chocolate chips in the batter, and inside the muffin, there was peanut crunch with peanut butter. It had a nice buttery aroma and was moist and delicious. I also wanted to try the newly released "Kiwi and Sour Cream Muffin," so I plan to look for it at another branch. Thank you, Rain Bake!

I learned a lot from the natural and cute packaging, simple sweets, and simple logo of this confectionery shop. The biscotti is delicious. [Access] Located inside Sapporo Station. [Good Points] Biscotti and simple logo.

It's been a while since I purchased pound cakes at "レインベイクショップ Sapproro" in Sapporo Station. Their pound cakes are made with 100% Hokkaido ingredients such as butter, eggs, flour, and sugar. My favorite is the Caramel Banana with caramel marble cake filled with plenty of bananas and walnuts. Another favorite is the Earl Grey Citron cake, which blends Earl Grey tea leaves with lemon peel for a rich aroma and refreshing taste, resembling lemon tea.

I visited the Rain Bake Shop Sapporo Station located inside JR Sapporo Station in Kita-ku, Sapporo City, Hokkaido. It is just a few minutes' walk from the JR Sapporo Station ticket gates, making it easily accessible from public transportation. I purchased the Pound Cake Earl Grey Citron this time. The Earl Grey Citron pound cake is sold as a 17cm whole cake, with butter, eggs, flour, and sugar all being 100% Hokkaido-produced. It is described as a weekend cake to enjoy with loved ones, combining lemony citrus with the aroma of Earl Grey tea. The cake has a moist texture, and the combination of citron and Earl Grey is delightful and delicious. The pound cakes at Rain Bake Shop are made with a strong emphasis on Hokkaido-produced ingredients, carefully baked one by one in-store, resulting in a moist and gentle finish reminiscent of rain. They use "Kitahonami" flour made from Hokkaido wheat, providing a fine, smooth, and moist texture with a good mouthfeel. The sugar used is 100% Hokkaido-produced beet sugar called "Beet Granulated Sugar," known for its natural and gentle sweetness enjoyed by people of all ages. The butter is made from milk produced by cows raised in the natural richness of the Hidaka region, giving the pound cake a rich and fragrant milk-like aroma. The eggs used are of the highest quality domestically produced eggs, known for their high viscosity egg whites and rich, large egg yolks, contributing to the moistness of Rain's pound cakes. By not overly manipulating the ingredients, you can enjoy the gentle taste of pure Hokkaido-produced ingredients. I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much!

I learned about the café's name and location from a magazine or passing by, and finally decided to try it out. I ordered a pound cake, American cookie, muffin, and scone. The pound cake had a fine texture and was delicious. The scone had a classic texture and taste, making it a great choice. The muffin had a dense filling, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, the cookie was eaten by my family. Overall, I would love to try more flavors in the future and visit another café in the same chain.

Having a solo lunch drink at the JR Sapporo Station in March 2022, I didn't feel the need to buy a souvenir for my husband on the way back. I visited Café Rain's pastry shop inside the ticket gate, where they offer various items that can be stored at room temperature. I bought a "Brownie Cookie" for around 540 yen, which was not too sweet with a small amount of chocolate and a nice texture from nuts. It was moist and delicious, but be warned, it contains 744 calories, making it a dangerous treat. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by on my way back and saw an orange muffin. It looked cute and stylish! I decided to buy one. Half of an orange was buried inside, giving it a refreshing citrus flavor. It was delicious! This might be a good find. There are more fruit sweets available now. This one is also a stylish treat.

Antenna shop from Cafe Rain in Sapporo, located in the Ekimae shop of JR Sapporo Station, offering pound cakes made with ingredients from Hokkaido. The stylish umbrella logo is eye-catching. Order details this time: Blueberry & Cranberry Cream Cheese Scone - A scone with a generous amount of berry flavors, including cream cheese inside for a creamy and rich taste. It was delicious. Earl Grey Set - Includes Earl Grey pound cake and Jasmine Madeleine with a strong tea aroma in both. The texture of the cakes was dense and satisfying, with a moderate sweetness that wasn't overwhelming. This shop is a convenient spot to pick up sweets for your journey from Sapporo Station. It's a great place to buy different treats like scones and muffins, as availability may vary depending on the time of day.

I bought some pound cakes to go from Café RAIN before, and this time I found out they sell them at Sapporo Station as well, so I decided to get some. I got a set of three pound cakes and some assorted cookies. The pound cakes were made with whole wheat flour and they were really moist and delicious. The cookies were a mix of different textures, and while not all of them were to my liking, the vanilla ones were really good. The price was reasonable, so I was happy with my purchase. I will definitely buy the pound cakes again when I visit next time.

There is a popular bakery called "Rain" in the Maruyama and Miyanosawa areas in Sapporo, and they also have a shop inside Sapporo Station. I usually drive due to recent circumstances, but this time I took the train after a long time. On my way back, I tried to find the shop at the station but couldn't locate it. I asked a station staff and found out that it's inside the ticket gates, truly a hidden spot for those not taking the JR trains (laughs). The shop is small but has a good variety of pastries. I bought the "Pound Cake Assortment 4 pieces" (1,512 yen) as a souvenir. Two pieces were for souvenirs and two for myself. I tried the "Strawberry and Macadamia" and "Fruit Chocolat". The Strawberry and Macadamia had a nice strawberry scent and a sweet and sour taste with yogurt and white chocolate. The Macadamia nuts added a nice texture. The Fruit Chocolat had a lovely scent of liqueur with plenty of dried fruits like raisins, cherries, figs, and apricots. The combination of chocolate and dried fruits was delightful. The pound cakes from "Rain" that use Hokkaido ingredients are truly delicious. I hope more popular shops will open at Sapporo Station as various construction works are expected for the extension of the Hokkaido Shinkansen to Sapporo in the future.

When I went to Sapporo in June, I found a shop right after arriving at the station inside the ticket gate. They use ingredients from Hokkaido. The shop and the staff were cute. I think I must have been hungry for Sapporo, buying snacks right after arriving at the station before even leaving the station building. Looking back now, I think I didn't need to rush so much. I thought it might be a good idea to buy something that won't go bad and eat it at the hotel. The whole wheat cookie sandwich is made of simple ingredients - flour, butter, chocolate, sugar, whole wheat, and honey. This is the kind of cookie I want to eat.

This is a review of a visit to the Rain store at the JR station after passing through the ticket gate. I stopped by to get a snack for the train ride and chose the "Chocolate and Walnut Whole Wheat Scone @335" after sampling the pound cake. The individually wrapped pound cakes seemed a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it to buy a few for the journey. The friendly and cute staff asked if I wanted a bag, but since I only bought one item, I politely declined and put it in my backpack. I tasted the scone on the train and found it to be better when warmed up in the oven. The texture was moist, the flavor of wheat and butter was enhanced, and the whole wheat taste added a nice crunch. I hope Rain expands their cafe chain with the same quality and customer service as the one at Enzan. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

I went to my monthly appointment by train this month and purchased the following items at "Rain BAKESHOP": "Peanut Butter Chocolate Muffin" and "Rain Cookie & Chocolate Chip Scone". I warmed up the scone a bit in the microwave and then reheated it in the toaster to make the outside crispy and the inside moist. It has Oreo cookies and chocolate chips inside, but it's not overly sweet. The chocolate is delicious. The "Peanut Butter Chocolate Muffin" has a crispy chocolate crumble topping and a generous amount of chunky peanut butter in the plain batter. Both were delicious.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medicine that suits my rare disease yet. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment again in April-May, following September and January last year. Your supportive comments were a source of strength for me during my hospitalization. I was discharged in early May, but during the check-up in late May, the doctor mentioned the possibility of another hospitalization. If I haven't recovered by the June check-up, I might be hospitalized again in July, with further tests in July delaying the decision. It seems likely that I will be hospitalized in July if my condition worsens, but it will be after 2 weeks of receiving the COVID vaccine. The doctor instructed me to confirm my vaccination schedule with Sapporo City, but it seems that the vaccination for those under 65 with underlying conditions will be prioritized from July. Please continue to support me in the future. In July 2021, "Cafe Rain Sapporo Maruyama Main Store" is a shop that specializes in homemade pound cakes. There is a cafe on the second floor, which turns into a bar at night. It opened in 2017. "Rain Bake Shop" is a shop that specializes in selling cakes from "Cafe Rain". One of them is "Rain Bake Shop Sapporo Station". It's clear that the shop is popular. I visited for the first time with my usual companion. This shop is located in the JR Sapporo Station area in Chuo-ku, Sapporo, inside the JR Sapporo Station ticket gate. Please check the exact location of the shop on Tabelog. I visited around 11:30 am on a holiday. There was one customer in front and two customers behind me. The shop had a lineup of bagged baked goods. There was a muffin that I had never seen before. I bought a few items. ■ Muffin Homemade product Moist muffin Rain Premium Weight Actual measurement 84g (after deducting the bag) A muffin version of Rain Premium pound cake, with a moist texture and good flavor Price: 378 yen (tax included) Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Weight Actual measurement 90g (after deducting the bag) A muffin version of Rain Premium pound cake, with a moist texture and good flavor, a rough texture, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. It goes well with black coffee. Price: 399 yen (tax included) The "homemade muffins" were well-made, just like the "homemade pound cakes". They are perfect for an afternoon tea at home. It's understandable that the number of outlets is increasing. The bag for the baked goods also has a stylish feel. It would be appreciated as a gift. I wonder which pound cake I'll try next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I found this shop when transferring trains at JR Sapporo Station. I have used Sapporo Station many times before, but I never noticed this shop until now. I wondered if it was a recently opened store, so I stopped by to buy some souvenirs. It was around 5:15 PM on a holiday. The shop is located inside JR Sapporo Station, near the middle of the west and east ticket gates, facing the west gate. You don't need to exit the ticket gates to visit, making it convenient for transfers. The shop is small with a sleek and stylish exterior. On the counter and in the showcase, there were cut and individually wrapped pound cakes, assorted sets, muffins, and other baked goods. They all had a luxurious appearance and were priced on the higher side. I bought cut pound cakes of Matcha and Chocolate for 345 yen, Caramel Banana for 356 yen, Sakura and Black Tea for 378 yen, and Fruits and Chocolate for 410 yen (all including tax). The four types of cut pound cakes were about four bites in size. I tried the Caramel Banana and Fruits and Chocolate, both were moist, fine-textured, and melted in the mouth. They had a rich flavor but were not overly sweet. The Caramel Banana had a great combination of caramel and banana flavors, while the Fruits and Chocolate had dried fruits and nuts throughout. Both were delicious and paired well with black coffee. If I have the chance, I would like to try other flavors of pound cakes as well.

Discovered at Sapporo Station! Takeout from Maruyama Rain. A great companion for your travels? Perhaps a shop for souvenirs. The cafes in Maruyama have a very nice atmosphere, and the pound cakes are quite delicious. Let's try purchasing them here as well. The order is: Earl Grey Lemon, Cherry Blossom and Tea, Premium Rice Flour Cherry Blossom. Can't miss out on the tea ^_^ It could establish itself as a souvenir from Sapporo - it's stylish and nice. Thank you for the meal! (^o^)

Before going to the clinic, I stopped by "mini Rain BSS" located inside Sapporo Station. I don't remember, but I think it used to be a bento shop. They were selling muffins, pound cakes, and scones, so I bought a few. The scones looked similar, but the left one was "Blueberry & Cranberry Cream Cheese Scone" and the right one was "Cookie & Chocolate Chip Scone." The Blueberry & Cranberry Cream Cheese Scone had plenty of blueberries and cranberries, with a crispy exterior and moist interior. The flavor was rich, maybe due to the ingredients being kneaded into the dough. The Cookie & Chocolate Chip Scone had Oreo cookies and chocolate chips, with a bitter chocolate taste and a crispier texture. The pound cake "Gateau Chocolat" was moist, with a bitter chocolate flavor and topped with Oreo cookies and walnuts for a crunchy texture. The "Rain Premium" muffin was plain and fluffy, with a gentle sweetness that could be enhanced by spreading sweet spreads on it. The "Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip" muffin had a crumbly chocolate topping, and the dough was plain with chocolate chips and chunky peanut butter, giving it a slightly salty taste. The shop offers pound cakes and muffins that are not too heavy, with a light texture and moderate use of butter. They are not overly sweet, making them easy to eat. They also sell whole pound cakes, which could be a good gift option. The shop is located inside Sapporo Station JR ticket gates and is open from 9:00 to 21:00.

This is a Rain store that opened inside Sapporo Station. I always wanted to try it when passing by, but I never had time before catching my JR train, or there were already customers ahead of me, so I couldn't buy it. Since I rarely had the chance, I decided to delay my JR train by one. The plain one cost 334 yen, and I enjoyed it on the JR platform. It was like a pre-dinner dessert. It was very smooth and had an elegant taste. It was delicious! It felt like something you should enjoy with high-quality tea or champagne. This sophisticated taste doesn't really fit eating on the JR platform though. Next time, I want to try a different flavor in a more relaxed setting, maybe with some scones. Thank you for the meal!

Located inside Sapporo Station, this place used to be a senbei shop. Rain is located in Maruyama, but it's convenient to be able to buy their Gâteau Chocolat pound cake here. It's cocoa flavored. Whole grain cookie sandwich features a simple cookie with chocolate cream in the middle. Florentine Chocolat is a nut chocolate treat with a crunchy texture that is delicious. These sweets are made without unnecessary additives and have a mild sweetness. The pricing is a bit high, but overall, it was a delicious treat.

Christmas in 2020, during the pandemic, has left many people unsure whether to stay home or carry on with their traditional Christmas activities. As a result, there were long lines at confectionery shops like the well-established "Amatou" in Otaru and "Morimoto" at Nagasaki-ya. Even the pastry shops at Sapporo Station, such as those at Esta, had almost constant queues. Amidst this, a new shop opened on December 18th inside Sapporo Station, offering pound cakes that could help you get into the "Christmas spirit." I purchased a "Stollen" for 410 yen. Ever since my daughter left, we've been missing out on Christmas cakes, so this modest pastry was just right for my husband and me. It was my first time trying Stollen, a delicious cake full of dried fruits, a classic German treat that brought a small taste of Christmas. Being a shop within the station, it's convenient for picking up souvenirs on the go. Sapporo Station has become even more user-friendly.
