I ordered the "rich salt" ramen, but as a garlic lover, I found it lacking in garlic. The chashu was not tough and quite delicious. The broth was filled with fat, almost overflowing, making it very hot and hard to cool down. However, considering the price, I felt like the portion was a bit small.

The first bite was full of flavor that spread in my mouth! I even finished all the soup! The portion size is large, so I want to go back about 10 times in the future to enjoy various menu items. It's located near a ski resort, so it's perfect for satisfying your hunger after a day of skiing.

It was lunchtime at an odd hour, and after wandering for a bit, I ended up here. The menu seemed to be around 1200 yen for each item. I noticed they had a recommended dish, something like "〇〇 Chashu Ramen." Since it was close to 3 pm, I decided to go for something light. I ordered the Kitami Soy Sauce Ramen. The soup doesn't have much oil, so you have to scoop it from the bottom to get the hot soup. The sweetness of the vegetables mixed with the soy sauce flavor is really good. However, it was a bit too salty for my taste. The chashu, which I believe was made from pork leg, was delicious. I found out there is also a second generation of this restaurant called GORAKU. Thank you for the meal!

I participated in a ramen stamp rally, not sure if I'll collect enough stamps, but decided to give it a try. Without any mistakes, I ordered the Kokumaro Miso Ramen for 880 yen, while my husband got the Morimori 2 Kinds of Chashu Ramen with Charred Miso for 1600 yen. We went at an odd time, so our orders came out pretty quickly. Even though they're both miso, there's quite a difference when it's charred. I prefer the sweet, soft regular miso. There was a coupon in the ramen stamp rally flyer for adding thick menma, so we used it. Once again, the ramen was consistently delicious today!

In the eastern part of the city, in Handa, we had lunch after shopping. Choosing a lunch spot in the eastern district was a bit challenging, as it is more rural compared to the west. So, we settled for a safe option - a ramen shop called "Hatsudai Ramen Goraku". This was my second visit. We sat at the counter in the back. They had two types of miso ramen - "burnt" and "mellow". I remembered not liking the former during my first visit, so this time I went for the latter. I ordered the "Mellow Miso Ramen" for 800 yen. The yellow soup was sweet. It had a miso sweetness that was just bearable. Any sweeter would have been too much. It lacked richness and umami. The noodles were from a local company called Tsuji Menuma, and they were excellent. The toppings included chashu, menma, negi, nori, stir-fried bean sprouts, and a little onion. My wife ordered the "Hakodate Salt Ramen" for 737 yen. The soup was disappointing. It lacked depth and tasted like it lacked any dashi flavor. Even instant ramen might have been better. Both the miso and salt ramen were underwhelming. Hmm, I might not come back next time.

I was surprised by the salt ramen that only tasted like salt. The soup was very light, with no taste of broth or dashi. It felt like they didn't put much effort into the soup. It didn't match my taste preference, especially with this thin noodle. I had to add pepper and chili flakes to enhance the flavor. The chashu and menma were delicious. Looking at the menu, I found it to be quite expensive. I think they give too much menma, they should reduce the amount and lower the price. Despite the crowded restaurant, the service was very good. I would be interested in trying their rice dishes, but I don't plan on revisiting for a while.

It's been a while since I visited Kitami. It's the New Year holiday, so I don't have much time and can only choose a restaurant nearby. I decided to go for my favorite light ramen, "Goraku." There were about six customers ahead of me during the weekday lunchtime. I thought about trying something different since I've been here many times, so I ordered the "Hakodate Salt Ramen." It arrived in about 5 minutes and looked beautiful with its clear soup, true to Hakodate style. The noodles were medium-thick and slightly soft, but I enjoyed them. The soup was light, maybe made with chicken broth, but a bit salty for my taste. The chashu had a meaty texture that I wasn't a fan of. The bamboo shoots had a good crunch. The Hakodate Salt Ramen was delicious, but I wish the soup had more depth.

I used to run a Chinese restaurant in a different location, but a few years ago I switched to a ramen specialty shop. I saw an article about it in the information magazine HO recently, so I came to check it out! This time, I ordered the rich ramen with a strong burnt garlic flavor, with a salt base. The soup is clear, not the typical rich tonkotsu base I expected. The richness comes from... garlic! The garlic flavor hits you hard! Just one sip and I knew, this is not something you should eat before meeting people (laughs). And... it's really hot, couldn't avoid burning my mouth a bit. The taste is light but delicious. It might make you thirsty though, but because the soup is light, the garlic flavor stands out and makes you want to keep eating. The toppings are also very well done. The chashu is really delicious! Next time, I want to try the chashu ramen. I hesitated this time because of the high price, but next time for sure!

It's a solo business trip life in Kitami. For lunch, I had ramen alone lol. Kitami aged soy sauce ramen with chashu, flavored egg, spicy mayo, and kimchi on the side. It's a clear and delicious old-fashioned soy sauce ramen.

Is the Morimori Chashu Ramen with Salt (1,850 yen) + Rice (200 yen) expensive? The Morimori Chashu comes with both seared and regular chashu, but is it just about the appearance and aroma? Even though it includes 8 slices (4 slices + 4 slices), there is no sense of value. The rice is clumpy and disappointing. No plans to return. No rating. I used to go to "◯kou" (fill in the blank with your imagination) where the braised pork belly was delicious, but now I'm a chashu refugee.

Salt, miso, spicy miso, simmered chashu 3120 300 ¥2820. Spicy miso is not spicy (just regular miso). Additional charge for toppings starting from level 1 spiciness. It would be better if the prices were displayed from level 1 spiciness from the beginning (no need to mention 0 spiciness). Please have the designer take care of this. The flavors were delicious. The chashu was tender and well seasoned. However, I wonder if they are looking for a stronger flavor profile in their ramen. Maybe a bit more creativity is needed.

I visited this place for the first time in about 2 years. There were so many menu options that I was indecisive, but I ended up choosing the original Negi Chashu Ramen (soy sauce), while my husband went for the double Chashu Ramen. He couldn't decide between burnt miso or rich miso, but I think he went with the rich miso. The Negi Chashu Ramen had diced Chashu mixed in, topped with scallions that went well with the soy sauce. I really enjoyed it. The miso ramen had a nice flavor with garlic and ginger, and it was delicious. I quite like this place, although it's a bit on the expensive side for two people at over 2000 yen.
