On July 9, 2016, I visited this restaurant with my family after enjoying strawberry picking. Last time I came here, I bought soft serve ice cream at the shop, but this time we came for a meal. Looking at the menu, it mainly offers Chinese dishes, but they also have curry, pasta, and soba, so there are plenty of options. I ordered a draft beer and shrimp yakisoba. Having a beer in the daytime after a long time was great! It's nice to have a designated driver when going out with family, so I can drink without worry. The shrimp yakisoba was 980 yen. The bright red color of pickled ginger on the dish made me shudder, so I'm glad that the Worcestershire sauce and pickled ginger are served separately! I could confirm about 7-8 large shrimp in the dish. It also had my favorite wood ear mushrooms in it. However, I couldn't find any quail eggs. The salty yakisoba with thick sauce was not like the ones you would have in a hotel, but it was quite delicious! With a price of 980 yen and a decent amount of shrimp, it's worth it. My wife ordered fried rice with crab and sakura shrimp, and it was good with the rice being fluffy and separate. It may sound a bit rude, but the food at this kind of facility was surprisingly satisfying. It was quite crowded when we visited, but the female staff's service was good, so this place is reliable.

Welcome! In May 2015, while leisurely driving through Niki Town and Higashimachi Fruit Highway, I saw flags lined up and when I looked towards the mountains, I saw a building. Inside the Fruit Park, there is a restaurant. Hello! The restaurant has a high ceiling and an open log cabin feel. All the shops in Niki Town have a calming atmosphere. By the way, on the opposite side of the entrance inside the building, there is a shop, exhibition, and Niki Town's mascot "Nikibou", a cherry star person who came from the star of hope in Niki. I think "Nikki" would have been a good name too... I wonder how many enemies I've made haha. The staff are young and full of energy and smiles, which is nice. The customers are mostly families on vacation and Golden Week. The menu is a mix of restaurant dishes and tourist prices. The whole family sitting next to me ordered "Wiener Neapolitan". Is Neapolitan pasta trending these days? I regret not trying the curry at Harada's... next time. I ordered the pork cutlet curry but the visual presentation wasn't great... The ground meat in the curry was lukewarm!! This is a fatal flaw!! The curry is sweet and mild, suitable for kids and even Tom likes it, but when it's lukewarm, the flavor is dull. The miso soup was also lukewarm, and the rice, which I assume is local, was soft and suited for the bowl. The cutlet was a thin, coin-shaped patty. Well, it's a tourist spot so they'll probably get by, but when it comes to mealtime, I want something hot and fresh. The service is still good so I can overlook it, but if I were on the receiving end, I would want them to take it as a lesson and improve. Thank you for the meal.

On the way back to my master's hometown, I casually stopped by a fruit park. I originally went to see the seedlings, but the restaurant was open so I decided to try the food. The inside of the restaurant was like a huge hall, but with glass windows, so you could enjoy your meal while looking at the view outside. The place was bustling with families, from small children to elderly people. I was surprised when I looked at the menu - the prices were very affordable! They offered a variety of dishes from pasta to Chinese, and Japanese cuisine, so there was no need to argue about what to eat with your family. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, which was great to see. There was a little mix-up with one of our orders, but we all laughed it off. We each ordered different dishes and shared them. To my surprise, everything was delicious. The salad bar that came with the steak was especially tasty, with marinated tomatoes, chopped onions, and fresh vegetables. I usually don't like tomatoes, but the ones here were so sweet that I couldn't stop eating them. The steak was thin but tender and tasty. The pasta was made with flat noodles, and the tomato and mozzarella caprese-style dish was very delicious. I was impressed by the authentic taste of the pasta. The corn and lily root carbonara was not my favorite because I don't like lily root, but the cream sauce was delicious. I thought about having a parfait for dessert, but ended up getting soft serve ice cream from the nearby shop instead. It was so good that I'm looking forward to trying the restaurant's parfait next time.
