Located about a 2-minute walk from Kita 18-jo Station, this shop offers a variety of bento boxes. I was feeling lazy to cook on my day off, so I decided to try this bento shop. There were so many options to choose from, but I went with the chicken and tempura rice bowl bento. For an extra 50 yen, you can get a large serving of rice, so I opted for that. Inside the shop, I noticed a few male customers dining alone. Seems like everyone feels the same way about lunch on their day off. You can also call ahead to place your order and pick it up later. It was ready in about 10 minutes. The bento was packed with a generous amount of food, overflowing with goodies for only 700-800 yen. The bento included rice, chicken soboro, fried chicken, tempura, green salad, macaroni salad, and tamagoyaki. The taste was delicious as well. If you're thinking of going to a convenience store, this shop is definitely a better deal.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. As we entered December, the increased heating in hospitals and various commercial facilities has exacerbated the condition. Unfortunately, there is still no medication that suits me. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you for your understanding. [January 2020] "Handmade Bento Specialty Store Bentai" has three stores in Sapporo and Ebetsu. The "Handmade Bento Specialty Store Bentai Kitaju Store" is a small, affordable bento shop. This year marks its 10th anniversary since opening. After lunch, I visited with my usual companion. The store is located in the Kita Ward area of Sapporo, along the circular road near the Kita 18-jo Station on the subway. For the exact location of the store, please check on Tabelog. I visited around 12:30 pm on a weekday. The interior of the store is quite compact, with space for about one tatami mat. There were two customers in front and one behind. Despite the small space, there is a wide variety of bento boxes available. The prices range from the 400 yen to 500 yen range, with very few over 800 yen. I ordered the "Kani Meshi Makunouchi 980 yen" from the January monthly bento menu. It is the second most expensive bento in the store. After waiting for about 6 minutes, my usual companion received it. The "Kani Meshi Makunouchi" in January's monthly bento box weighs 560g (actual weight after removing the bag), which is quite a large portion, equivalent to about 1.4 regular bento boxes. The base of the Kani Meshi is soy sauce-flavored mixed rice with finely sliced bamboo shoots and crab meat. The bamboo shoots and crab meat mixture is generously placed on top. It has a subtle flavor and is well-balanced. The side dishes include shrimp tempura, grilled salmon with fat, thick rolled omelette, crab shumai, chicken karaage, meat and potato stew, vegetable, mini tomato, lettuce, pickles, and soy sauce for dipping. The "Kani Meshi Makunouchi" is a bento box with a variety of side dishes that can be enjoyed. It's like an adult's kids' lunch. The quality is closer to a department store bento than a local bento shop. The "Kani Meshi" has a subtle flavor and a good taste. The grilled salmon with fat was particularly delicious with its rich flavor. Next time, I might go for the voluminous and affordable "Toku Toku Bento 510 yen." Delicious, thank you for the meal.

★Tokutoku Bento 510 yen Located in the subway area near Kita 18-jo, this is a one-person operated bento shop. I've been here a few times and sometimes the shop is closed during business hours because the owner goes out for deliveries. Finally, I found the shop open this time! The menu is huge! I wonder if the owner really remembers all of it? The Tokutoku Bento had salmon, fried chicken, and ginger pork - it had everything I wanted in a bento box. It was really filling, so heavy that the lid couldn't close properly. The portions are impressive! The flavors are rich and the homemade taste makes it delicious. My husband had the Bentai Jiman Bento A for 600 yen, which was even more voluminous! There were even two whole potatoes worth of nikujaga in it. The price is great for the amount of food you get. This shop offers generous portions at affordable prices. Thank you for the meal!

It's a busy intersection so there's no parking in front of the shop. I had to walk there. It was a little before 7 pm on a weekday. There was only one other customer besides me. My order was ready by the time I finished looking through the menu. I ordered the beef tongue bento. By the time I got home, it was already cold. The rice seemed to be packed hot based on the amount of sweat. I could tell the meat was freshly cooked. The green vegetables and macaroni salad in the side dishes were delicious and gentle in flavor. I heard the beef stew was delicious, so I have high expectations for it. I also want to try the liver and leek stir-fry, but it seems they don't offer a bento that includes both. If it was a little closer or if I could use a car, I would challenge myself to try different bentos until I find my favorite. The taste was enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

2016.7 Revisited a nearby post office and on the way back, decided to buy a bento for lunch at this place diagonally across from the post office. The small shop was crowded during lunchtime, but I noticed they had beef tongue on the menu. I had seen beef tongue being introduced on TV the day before and wanted to try it, so this was a great opportunity. They had a bento with beef tongue and fried chicken, so as a foodie, I went for that option. I placed my order with the lady and after about 10 minutes, I received my 670 yen bento. I wasn't expecting much from the beef tongue at that price, but when I opened it at home, I was pleasantly surprised to find a decent amount of beef tongue in there. It was seasoned with salt and had a good thickness, providing a satisfying eating experience. The fried chicken was juicy and delicious as well. I might try a different bento next time. Thank you for the meal.

On a certain weekday, I visited a bento shop on the corner of a crossroads after being instructed to have dinner there for an overnight stay examination. The shop had a handcrafted feel and a compact interior filled with menu samples and posters. The owner was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the "Kani Meshi Makunouchi Bento (870 yen)" after discussing with the owner, as it seemed to have minimal impact. When the bento was ready, it looked gorgeous and had a homemade touch that chain restaurants lack. The taste was excellent, with crunchy crab meat, flavorful rice, freshly fried tempura, savory fried chicken, shumai, salmon belly, spinach with sesame dressing, sweet tamagoyaki, and tasty nikujaga. There was even a dessert of apple. Overall, the bento was delicious, and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the meal.

When I passed by this place in my car, I always noticed a lot of customers inside, but it seemed a bit difficult to enter by car. This time, I walked by and decided to go in. I peeked into the kitchen and saw an old man cooking alone. When it was my turn to order, I said, "Can I have the Tokutoku Bento, please?" and he just replied, "Sure." He didn't take any notes. I was a bit worried if he got my order right, but it turned out there was no need to worry. Another person came in after me, and all the orders were correct. The Tokutoku Bento costs 490 yen and includes grilled salmon, ginger pork, fried chicken, cabbage, and macaroni salad. It's a generous portion with a variety of ingredients. The taste is not incredibly delicious, but it's good and the rice portion is large. I think if you buy a bento at a convenience store for the same price, you would get less food. Also, I believe convenience store bentos may contain preservatives, so I recommend this bento shop for that reason as well.

Welcome! Located at the corner of the intersection where the food truck flows quickly but if you're on a bike, it's a different story. The temperature inside the restaurant rises by about 5°C due to the heat, with the kitchen staff busy during lunchtime. The nostalgic camisole and apron-clad student boy and the owner's intense battle are visible. The recommended side dishes include beef tongue or the monthly special. I ordered a bento box with a healthy price and waited while looking at the magazines in the restaurant. The bento arrived in less than 10 minutes, and it was still too hot to touch. The mega-sized bento box was filled with various ingredients and had a spicy flavor. The volume of the meal was satisfying, with a generous portion of pasta salad and pickled vegetables on the side. Overall, it was a great dining experience at this restaurant in Sapporo.

I ordered the yakiniku bento for 600 yen! It's near Hokkaido University, so it's a good portion size and has a strong flavor, suitable for young people! An older man is working hard by himself, so sometimes it may look burnt or the presentation may be sloppy, but it's actually quite delicious. I go there often, but occasionally when it's busy, they serve fried rice that was pre-made and heated in the microwave! It turns into a clump and the surface becomes rock hard, not very enjoyable to eat! If it weren't for that, I would give it a higher rating... They have around 40 different types of dishes, including seasonal specials, which can make it difficult to choose!

I remember a bento shop from a while ago, slightly dimly lit, with hand-drawn yellow menu signs, and a lackluster atmosphere. It's a bit nostalgic, but these kinds of shops often make incredibly delicious bento boxes. As I look at the menu and samples, I remember what a scholar once said - when there are too many choices, people tend to stop making decisions. When it comes to ramen, no matter how many options there are, I always go for salt flavor. But at a bento shop, the pressure to choose quickly is real, as I don't want to be beaten to the order by someone who came after me. In situations like this, I always go for the beef and fried rice bento box (¥580). As I wait for the lackluster guy to serve me, I reflect on the fact that I'm paying for a meal made by someone following a manual. Being single can be lonely... The bento box arrives in less than 10 minutes, and I quickly head home to start eating. The fried rice is decent, the beef is good, but the salad is a bit lacking. The spaghetti under the beef has been invaded by the salad dressing, creating a strange flavor. Overall, for ¥580, it's a decent bento box. However, the fact that I'm paying for a meal made by someone following a manual is a bit...
