Maruyama Nomichi 🍶✨I had lunch here before and really liked it, so this time I decided to go for dinner. Last time, they couldn't serve alcohol yet, so I had to skip it, but this time I can drink! Yay! I ordered the 7-course meal for 8200 yen including tax. I started with sparkling wine and then switched to sake. Every dish was delicious and satisfying. This place offers a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine, including soba noodles, which is reflected in the design of the hand towel shown in the last photo. They actually give you this towel to use during the meal and you can even take it home. It's cute and practical! The main dish that day was Kyoto deer meat, which was incredibly tender and tasty with no gamey flavor. The soba noodles were also delicious, I wanted more! Overall, it was a fun, delicious, and satisfying experience. Thank you for the feast! 🦌🍜🍷

Lunch٩(ˊᗜˋ*)وI loved this place from the start!! The food was all delicious and the owner was handling everything alone. Each dish was carefully prepared and I was extremely satisfied. We visited for lunch and had the lunch course, enjoying a private dining experience as we were the only customers in the restaurant. It was a safe and enjoyable time with delicious food! They also have a selection of carefully chosen drinks, but we didn't drink this time due to the state of emergency. I would love to come back for dinner with some drinks next time! The restaurant opened right before the COVID-19 outbreak in Maruyama, so it must have been a tough timing, but the cozy and calming atmosphere was perfect. I had no idea about this place, so I'm grateful to my friend who recommended it to us. After dining, we also stopped by Sugi Hara for some shopping before heading home. When in Maruyama, you definitely have to visit Sugi Hara! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Today's second stop for my soba noodle crawl is at Tezue Sakasan in Maruyama. This small restaurant has a counter with 6 seats and one table for 2. The menu includes various soba noodle options, as well as side dishes and drinks. I decided to try the egg and soy sauce soba, as I had been impressed by a similar dish at Kimura in Otaru. As soon as I sat at the counter, a warm towel was brought to me, and a fresh one appeared as soon as I finished using it. The service was incredibly attentive. My soba was served promptly, with a visually appealing presentation. While the portion size may seem small on an empty stomach, it was just right for a soba crawl. The noodles were slightly soft, and the dipping sauce had a strong saltiness that was balanced out by the richness of the egg. The sauce also had plenty of chopped green onion leaves, so I felt that adding additional green onions as a condiment wasn't necessary. Overall, I enjoyed delicious soba at both of the restaurants I visited today.

There are no reviews for the night, so I'll write one. This is a small shop on the first floor of a building, not facing the street. The New Year's soba banner at the entrance gives off a comforting feeling. The interior has a counter with 6 seats and 1 table, with a simple and calm atmosphere, with no decorations like flowers or pictures. The dark wood and white color scheme adds to the relaxed ambiance. The mellow jazz instrumental BGM sets the mood. I decided on the homemade lemonade, which was refreshing and not too sweet, with lots of freshly grated lemon that feels like it could prevent a cold. However, I ended up catching a bit of a cold after going to another cold restaurant. I had the light course, starting with a warm spinach and shimeji mushroom appetizer in a delicate dashi broth, with a great sesame flavor. The marinated trout and trout roe were enjoyable, with a pink onion sauce providing a nice acidity. I also tried purple and white cabbage for the first time and loved it. The Kagoshima black pork cheek meat was tender and delicious, with the broccoli being a standout. The soba flavor was subtle, but the broth was rich and tasty. For dessert, I had a chocolate terrine with caramelized apples and black tea ice cream, which was a satisfying end to the meal. I didn't drink alcohol, but I felt like the next course up would have been a good choice. Although I didn't leave completely full, I was very satisfied with the delicious food and enjoyed the mix of Japanese and Western flavors. It was a delightful meal.

I visited a soba restaurant that I had been wanting to visit for a long time in November 2020. Normally they offer course meals, but on Sundays you can just have soba. I visited for Sunday lunch. The small and cozy interior was very calming and lovely. I looked at the menu and ordered the 100% soba and the red wine stewed venison grata. They also had a variety of drinks including wine, but I couldn't drink as I came by car. The venison grata was delicious and tender, with a rich sauce that made me crave wine. The soba was thin and beautiful, served with spicy daikon radish and wasabi. I prefer to put wasabi directly on the soba, so this made me very happy. I love the sharpness of the daikon radish. The service was attentive. The dipping sauce was rich and bold, which I liked. They also served sweet soba water at the right timing, which I mixed with the dipping sauce and it was delicious. The combination of soba and Western food was great, and I would love to visit this lovely restaurant again. Thank you for the meal!

Saka-san offers a new style where you can enjoy both French cuisine and soba noodles. During lunch, you can have soba noodles and soba appetizers, while at night you can enjoy French cuisine. At night, you can finish your meal with soba noodles. The owner of Ebisu's "Hinoto Hitsuji - Saka", Mr. Yoshinori Saka, used to travel around the country visiting soba noodle shops. The aroma of the soba noodles is strong and spreads in your mouth. The broth, which allows you to taste the umami of ingredients like bonito, will bring a smile to your face. I would like to take my time and enjoy a leisurely weekend lunch there next.

On a certain holiday, during a slightly challenging period in Sapporo, I stumbled upon a soba restaurant in the Maruyama Park area while walking. The interior of the restaurant is compact, with an L-shaped counter and one table. Jazz music is playing in the background. It seems like there is only one owner who is working in the kitchen, and even though he didn't notice my arrival at first, he eventually welcomed me and provided disinfectant spray, a towel, and a fresh towel to wipe my hands that had the disinfectant spray on them. I learned that this restaurant originally serves course meals, so the lunch menu mainly consists of alcohol and appetizers. As I couldn't drink alcohol, I ordered the seasonal "Tomato Cold Dashi Soba (1100 yen)". After a considerable wait, the dish was finally served. The soba noodles were thin, gray, soft yet firm, and had a smooth texture. The transparent broth, similar to salt ramen, had a subtle acidity and was refreshing. Towards the end, the owner suggested adding ponzu sauce for a different taste experience, which I enjoyed. The dish also included cut tomatoes, nagaimo, okra, crunchy warabi, white negi, and myoga. I finished the meal with a milky soba broth. Lastly, the owner saw me off until the end, and his hospitality made me very happy. Thank you for the meal.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. In December, with the increased heating in hospitals and commercial facilities, there was a review while feeling unwell. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits me yet. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you for your understanding. In March 2020, "Hinoto Hitsuji Saka" is a restaurant serving soba, French cuisine, and Japanese dishes for lunch. It opened in December 2019. I went for lunch on a weekday, but the restaurant was closed. I visited again on the weekend and it was open. I went for lunch with my usual companion. The restaurant is located in the Maruyama area of Sapporo's Chuo Ward, in a building near the back approach. Please check the exact location of the restaurant on Tabelog. I visited around midnight on the weekend. The interior of the restaurant is compact, with an L-shaped counter and one table for two. There was one customer in front and two customers behind. I sat at the table. The interior of the restaurant was strangely hot, with a perceived temperature of over 30 degrees Celsius. This is a dangerous room temperature that can worsen my symptoms. To lower my body temperature, I sprayed myself with cold spray several times. The soba menu includes "Juwari" which is only cold soba, and "Kuichi" which has hot and cold options. There are three sizes for "Juwari" soba: Small 60g for 770 yen, Medium 90g for 1100 yen, and Large 120g for 1375 yen. It is quite expensive soba. Both my companion and I ordered the "Juwari Soba - Medium." There was no waiting time, but after 17 minutes, the "soba broth" and "condiments" were served. The "Juwari Soba - Medium" was served in a total of 24 minutes. The soba was slightly thinner than usual Juwari soba, almost white, and closer to Sarashina soba. It was firm with a crispy texture, and the amount served was less than half the usual soba set. The soba broth was served in a soba cup, a clear type of broth with a taste that matched the soba. The flavor of bonito flakes was subtle, and the broth was mild. The condiments included white leeks and grated daikon with mountain horseradish. The soba broth was light in flavor. The price was 1100 yen including tax. The "Juwari Soba" had a fairly strong soba flavor. The soba broth was clean and refreshing. It was not bad for a soba served in a Japanese or French restaurant. I think it would have been better with regular wasabi instead of the grated daikon with mountain horseradish. The clean taste of the soba made it feel mischievous. Even though there was no waiting, it took 24 minutes. It was an appropriate amount of time before the soba was served. The volume was also suitable for after finishing a bowl of soba. "Hinoto Hitsuji Saka" is a place that suits soba lovers' needs. I rated the soba 3.7 stars, the room temperature 1.0 star, and overall 3.3 stars. I would like to visit again after confirming the room temperature inside the restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal.

A new soba restaurant has appeared in Maruyama~! I found out about it from the reviews of Myレビ and decided to have some drinks before having soba on this day. Having a drink at a soba restaurant. This has been a dream since my younger days. When I lived in the Kanto region, I was often taken to such places. Back then, I would have a plate of wasabi and a beer or sake before enjoying the soba. It's a sophisticated way of drinking. It's irresistible (´∀`). It's rare to find people who drink like this in Sapporo, but welcome! It feels like they've come all the way from Ebisu⁉︎ The owner came out of the building's first floor and welcomed us warmly. The interior of the restaurant has a calm, tea-like atmosphere. I wonder what kind of dishes they serve, and my expectations rise. The menu offers elegant French and kaiseki cuisine. After hearing the recommendations, I ordered the following: ◆ Stir-fried squid with ginkgo nuts, mushrooms, and ginger - 700 yen A light stir-fry dish. The squid is cooked just right. ◆ Dashimaki Tamago (rolled omelette with dashi) - 650 yen The dashimaki tamago was served first. It was fluffy and delicious with a ponzu sauce. ◆ Duck with cold soba and warm dipping sauce - 1600 yen The soba is almost 100% buckwheat. I like it thin and firm, and the dipping sauce is rich. The duck is juicy and adds a nice touch to the soba. ◆ Grated mountain wasabi soba - 1000 yen Served with plenty of grated mountain wasabi and daikon radish. The balance with the dipping sauce is excellent. ◆ Beer - 550 yen ◆ White wine (Chardonnay) - 750 yen The appetizer was boiled octopus and green vegetables. It was refreshing, and the octopus tasted fresh. The dishes were very well-prepared. After the beer, when I asked for a recommendation for alcohol, they suggested sake or wine. Since it was my first time having wine at a soba restaurant, I decided to go with wine. The wine paired well with the squid! The combination of Japanese cuisine, soba, and wine was stylish and elegant. When I got home, I found out that the Ebisu restaurant had a Michelin star. I was moved by the taste. The soba may not fill you up, but it's just right with the dishes, the pre-soba drink, and the soba itself. The restaurant in Ebisu has a hidden gem vibe, even though it's in a building. The entrance door gives off a hidden gem atmosphere. Conversations with the owner were soothing, and it was a very pleasant time. I had the opportunity to visit Sapporo while in Ebisu and came alone. I hope this French kaiseki soba restaurant becomes a representative of soba in Ebisu. The taste of the chef from Edo. I experienced the ultimate luxury. Soba is indeed a treat. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I would like to try the simpler mori soba. Thank you^ ^ ===========

A sophisticated facade in the dark wood. "Teimatsu-zaka" is a restaurant that moved from Edo period. They offer French-inspired traditional Japanese cuisine and creative dishes, but also serve soba noodles during lunchtime. The interior has a simple and calming contrast of dark wood and white. The layout is cozy with an L-shaped counter and small tables for two. The soba menu is concise, offering different types of soba noodles with careful consideration of the temperature. The owner handles everything from serving to cooking during lunchtime. He is calm and humble in his service, although a bit inexperienced in handling everything alone. The soba noodles come in three sizes, with the medium size being equivalent to a normal serving for one person. The soba noodles are beautifully presented, with a light grey color indicating the use of high-quality buckwheat flour. The noodles have a good texture but could be improved with a tighter water drain. The broth is flavorful and balanced, with a sharp and elegant taste that leans towards the savory side. The toppings of green onions, wasabi, and grated radish add an interesting touch, although they could be better balanced. Overall, the soba noodles at Teimatsu-zaka are traditional and well-executed, catering to a more subtle and refined taste compared to other soba restaurants in the area.

Visited a new restaurant in Maruyama after hearing rumors. The restaurant only opens for lunch on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. There was no curtain in front of the store, but there was a sign outside. The door was a sliding door, giving a sense of being in a building. Upon entering, I greeted the chef and was shown to a seat at the L-shaped counter. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a small seating area. I ordered a classic beer and a dashimaki tamago. The tamago had a strong bonito flavor and was not too sweet, which I liked. The mustard served as a condiment was of high quality and added a nice tang to the dish. Next, I tried the grilled chicken wings, which were flavorful but a bit greasy. The restaurant lacked a bit in terms of service as they did not provide a ladle for the soup. The soba I ordered was served in a unique way without a ladle, and the broth had a mild flavor of white soy sauce. The egg in the soba was fluffy and well-prepared. Overall, the soba was thinly cut and had a nice texture, but the condiments were a bit lacking in flavor. The restaurant's attention to detail was evident in the presentation and preparation of the dishes.

2020.01 I visited a restaurant that caught my attention from Zaby's review. I arrived at 13:10 on a weekend for my first visit. There was only one table available, and the two customers before me had just left. I informed the master that I did not have a reservation, and he kindly told me I could sit anywhere at the counter. I chose a seat at the far end of the L-shaped counter. The mild-mannered master brought me the menu, and when I requested whiskey, he brought three bottles and pointed to the Macallan 12. I asked for it with soda. I also ordered the daily appetizer, "Chicken Kinoko." As I was enjoying the complimentary "Yuki-no-shita cabbage" and seri ohitashi, two groups of customers arrived and were seated at the counter. The warm soba noodles were served to the customers who were there before me. The "Chicken Kinoko" dish consisted of thinly fried tofu with chicken paste sandwiched in between, topped with grated daikon radish, kaiware radish sprouts, and scallions. It was served with a fragrant soy sauce and shichimi pepper. It was my first time trying this delicious appetizer. I ordered a highball for my third drink, and along with it, I ordered soba noodles. Unfortunately, the soba noodles were sold out, so I was served cold "ku-ichi" and warm duck soup for dipping. The soba noodles were served in a large round dish resembling a Bizen ware plate, while the soup was in a large soba dipping cup. The buckwheat noodles had a good texture and a sweet taste, and the dipping sauce was well-seasoned with plenty of green onions and chicken meat. I finished the dipping sauce by diluting it with soba water, and it was delicious. After finishing the soba noodles, I was served tea. It was a satisfying meal, and I look forward to visiting this restaurant again.

I visited the restaurant because I was very interested after reading a review by a reviewer. I ordered the top menu item, 100% buckwheat soba, and a draft beer. The beer tasted great even in the morning! The appetizer was "Snow cabbage and trefoil ohitashi". The sweetness of the snow cabbage and the slight bitterness of the trefoil were a nice combination! The light broth allowed the flavors of the ingredients to shine. While enjoying the meal, condiments and dipping sauce were served first - long green onions & spicy daikon radish, and mountain wasabi. It took a little over 10 minutes for the soba to be served. The finely cut soba had a firm texture and I tried it as is first. The smooth texture of the soba was delicious! When dipped in the sauce, the flavor of bonito came through, followed by a hint of sweetness. Adding condiments gave it a refreshing kick. The condiments alone could be a meal in itself! The soba broth was clear and light, and I enjoyed it to the last drop. The quiet owner mentioned that this was their first time in Sapporo and they had no connection to the place. I would love to hear the story behind their decision to move to Sapporo next time. Thank you, "Saka" restaurant, for the wonderful meal!

On Sunday, I wandered around, this day I explored the area around Maruyama from Miya no Mori... Actually, I had meat in Miya no Mori from the morning, and for lunch, I visited "Chinoto Hitsuji Saka" on the back approach. The name "Chinoto" is one of the combinations of the zodiac signs, referring to the years that are 47 years apart when divided by 60... There is also a story that it represents the age of the owner... If that's the case, I thought he was the same age or a little older than me... sorry. I saw on Facebook that they were starting lunch service, so I went there immediately, but although I could see lights inside the store, I wasn't sure if they were open because there was no curtain... I opened the heavy door believing the information on the internet and entered, but I couldn't see anyone inside the store... I called out "Excuse me" a few times, and the owner appeared from the back of the kitchen with a smile. I hung my jacket on a hanger and sat at the counter seat. They moved from Ebisu, Tokyo and opened in December 2019... The previous store had a rating of 3.52 on Tabelog, which was a popular restaurant... French and creative cuisine with kaiseki, but the lunch menu is mainly soba, and you can also have a drink during the day. First, I had a beer... I received "Yuki-no-shita cabbage and celery ohitashi" as a service, a light and delicious dish with a solid and gentle dashi... This one is definitely delicious no matter what you eat. I ordered "Juwari soba (medium = 90g) @1,000"... Soba only comes in a seiro, and the type is "9:1 soba" (soba flour: binder = 9:1)... The condiments are "chopped green onions" and "grated...". The soba is served with a small cup of dipping sauce first, and it is served on a white ceramic plate with a sieve on top, and it takes about 10 minutes to be served. First, I tasted only the soba... The dipping sauce is an Edo-style sauce with a strong and slightly spicy flavor... Of course, the amount of sauce is small... It's the type where you dip and slurp. The white condiment is a mixture of grated daikon and wasabi, which I tasted for the first time, and it was quite good... Actually, I think soba and wasabi don't go well together, so I think it's better without wasabi. The soba-yu is smooth and clear... I added chopped green onions to the cup... When the amount of sauce is just right, the scent of the bonito flakes gently rises... "You can't provide this kind of service without a good knowledge of soba"... The gentle tone of the owner's speech also strangely soothes me. I talked about the area around Maruyama and left the store. A full-fledged soba restaurant appeared on the back approach of Maruyama! This could be interesting... I'm curious about the evening menu, but I'm thinking of going to eat 9:1 soba next weekend for lunch... I had a great time, thank you【Here is the data for the Ebisu store】https://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1303/A130302/13040704/
