March Sheep @ Ikeda Farm (Hokkaido) Tabelog ★ 3.12 "Berry Tart" 300 yen 100% Hokkaido wheat flour. Handmade baked goods and bread without additives that bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Operates through online sales and on-site sales from spring to autumn. A small cafe that offers bread, cookies, and cakes. When I visited, there were 3 types of bread, 3 types of cakes, and about 6 types of cookies. Takeout is also available. Cakes include prune tart, berry tart, and cheesecake. Breads include sausage bread, anpan, and bread with almond cream. Cookies include cocoa cookies, walnut cookies, strawberry cookies, and meringue cookies (with cute sheep faces). The bread is free of eggs and dairy products. This time, I tried the tart, which was very delicious at a reasonable price of 300 yen. The owner's son, who is around elementary school age, also helped out at the store, making it a heartwarming and cute place.

There are a few delicious steak restaurants near Onuma, so we stopped by on the way back from there. If you go on weekends in the afternoon, the bread is almost sold out. I bought two scones for 250 yen. The scones were fluffy and crispy, with a moderate amount of dried fruits giving them a gentle sweetness that is addictive. I wanted to try the bread, so I visited again around 10 o'clock on weekends. The parking lot, which can accommodate about 4 cars, was almost full. Everyone was relaxing in the cafe space. I bought an anpan and a soft bread about the size of two fists (I forgot the name...). The soft bread is made without eggs or milk, using rice oil and locally grown wheat. The simple and delicious flavor spreads gently as you chew, making it hard to stop eating. The anpan also had a refined sweetness in the red bean paste, which was delicious. They also have apple pie and quiche, so I would like to try them on another occasion. ^_^

I love the ginger cookies here. I first bought a cute cookie tin in a building next to Onuma Koen Station, and was surprised by how delicious they were. Once I started eating them, I couldn't stop. Whenever I go to Onuma on Saturdays, I stock up on them. The bread, cakes, and quiche also have a gentle flavor. Personally, I recommend the cookies the most!

I had known about this place for a while, but since they only sell their products in-store on Saturdays, I never had the chance to visit. Plus, they are closed during the winter. I happened to be going to Lake Onuma on a Saturday, so I remembered and decided to go. The store opens at 11 am, and when I arrived a little after that, there were already 4 groups of customers ahead of me. It's a cute little house along the shores of Lake Onuma. Inside, there was a small baby crying. All their products are additive-free. There were samples of baked goods and bread, and when you pick a handmade card, they bring out the actual bread from the back. In front of the register, there were quiche, tarts, and cheesecake, with the ingredients used listed. All the bread is made without eggs or dairy. I bought a variety of items in small quantities. The soy milk quiche was on the milder side with chunks of broccoli. It was a bit watery though. The bread had a simple taste. The strawberry tart and cheesecake were quite delicious when eaten cold after being refrigerated. The highlight here is definitely the sheep bread priced at 1400 yen, but it's only available by reservation. They mainly operate through online orders, with in-store sales only on Saturdays. Before moving to Lake Onuma, they used to have a shop in Tokyo. If you're a fan of this type of store, be sure to check it out.

I love sheep. The sound "baa baa baa" is the sound sheep make. One day, while browsing for cute canned sweets online, I came across a sheep-shaped can with a lonely face on it. Upon further investigation, I discovered it was from a bakery in Ohnuma. Not only this can, but everything in the bakery was adorable. I couldn't believe what I had found. I immediately told my husband, and he said we could go tomorrow. Who wouldn't want to meet this sheep bread DX? Even my husband wanted to meet it. We have always cherished such feelings, and thankfully, our children have inherited them too. So the real purpose is to send this sheep to my daughter. I can already imagine her puzzled expression when she opens the box and is told to eat it. The bakery only had 3 sheep bread DX available per day, so I called to reserve one. The kind voice on the other end assured me they could prepare one for me. Tomorrow, I will meet the sheep bread. It had been a while since I visited Ohnuma, and I was so happy that I felt like I was floating. The weather was nice, and I thought about the autumn leaves, but they were already gone, and winter had begun. The bakery's website kindly provided directions to the shop. I found my reserved sheep, and my daughter's was packed with cookies for delivery. The bread was being lined up as it baked little by little. The bread was handmade by the owner, who was born in the year of the sheep in March. The affordable prices were because he considered what he would pay if he were the customer. He closed his shop in Nishi-Ogikubo and moved to Ohnuma. The bread looked simple, like something Heidi or Peter would eat. The round bald bread was made with ciabatta dough, and the rye bread used Hokkaido rye. The rye bread paired well with wild strawberry jam. The ingredients used in the shop were Hokkaido flour, cane sugar, and Yotsuba butter, all additive-free. The cakes were made with Hokkaido cream cheese and yogurt for the cheesecake and apples from Shichinohe for the apple pie. The quiche was light and made with soy milk. Even after eating a lot, only the deliciousness remained. After the sheep bread, the meringue rum rum caught my attention. The misshapen look was adorable. It's called rum rum because it has rum in it. When should I eat this? I'm in a dilemma. While it wasn't available that day, the sheep cake was made with a mold from the Alsace region in France. The mold was too cute. They are also preparing for Christmas treats, so how about having a sheep cake or sheep bread for this year's Christmas? Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Located along Route 338, with a parking lot on-site for more than 5 cars, this bakery has good accessibility by car. Here are the reviews of some of their items: 1. Cheese Bread (¥160) - A flat rugby ball-shaped bread measuring 10cm x 8cm x 4cm. Soft texture with a nice crispy exterior. 2. Raisin Bread (¥150) - A dome-shaped bread with a diameter of 10cm and a thickness of 4cm. Loaded with raisins in the back, providing a unique chewy texture. Not too sour and very delicious. 3. Walnut Bread (¥130) - A stick-shaped bread measuring 14cm x 3cm x 3cm. Standard amount of walnuts with a firm texture. 4. White Bread (¥350) - A camel-shaped bread measuring 17cm x 10cm x 7cm. Perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of salt. Can be enjoyed as is, without toasting or butter. Made with 100% local flour. Highly recommended.

My friend in Sapporo sent me some adorable baked goods that she thought I would absolutely love. The treats arrived in a cute tin with a letter from my friend and her daughter. They used a Letter Pack to send it, which is the fastest option from Hokkaido. I was so excited as I waited for it to arrive the next day. When I opened the package, I was amazed by the tin and the meringue sheep inside. Each sheep had a different face but they were all so cute. The sheep cookies were also adorable and not too sweet, with a perfect texture. I almost didn't want to eat them because they were so cute, but I kept the tin as a decoration. Thank you, my friend, I hope you send me more in the future! (laughs)
