2022/10/29 Revisit "114th Cup in 2022" Today, we decided to go out for yakiniku with my wife and parents, as we had been postponing celebrating my wife's birthday. When it comes to yakiniku in town, Daiban is the go-to place, but today we ended up going to Ito Section Chief Kurayama Store for a change. The main reason being that we had quite a few vouchers worth 5,000 yen that we bought for 4,000 yen, and this was one of the few places where we could use them (laughs). I used quite a few of these vouchers during a recent drinking session in Sapporo, but the current situation is that there are hardly any places in Kurayama where we can use them. We had confirmed that we could use them here, so we enjoyed eating and drinking without hesitation. The smokeless roaster is still the same. We ordered various cuts of meat such as kalbi, sagari, tongue, and white collar. We started with beer for drinks! We started grilling the kalbi first. The meat is quite fatty, so sometimes the grill catches fire (laughs). It's been a while since I had yakiniku at Ito Section Chief's, and it's still delicious here! The sauce is still on the sweeter side, but the quality of the meat is top-notch. But personally, I like sagari the best. The beef offal is too fatty, and I still prefer pork. The tongue was quite thick and satisfying to eat. It was delicious too! Oh, let's also try the ramen that is solidly lined up on the menu. We ordered a half portion of the spicy miso ramen. The rest of my family was eating bibimbap and other dishes. This ramen... well, it's not great compared to specialty shops. It had a typical flavor. I switched from beer to sweet potato shochu and ended up drinking two beers and about five glasses of shochu. When I go out drinking with my family, I tend to drink too much out of a sense of security (laughs). I don't remember anything from finishing the meal to getting home... I ate quite a bit and drank quite a bit. It's nice to have a family gathering once in a while. And Ito Section Chief, it's a restaurant not to be underestimated! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal♪

My home's Majesty: "It is said that the older you get, the more meat you should eat, let's go!" Attendant: "Understood." Inner scream: You don't like beef so I never get to eat it normally! (*`へ´*) And so, the stomach and intestines (Manager Ito). ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ★Various grilled meats and raw liver: The grilled meat after a long time was delicious. Oh, there's no picture of the raw liver! His Majesty seemed satisfied, which is most important ε-(´∀`; ). Please refer to the photo comments section m(_ _)m. I'm a bit surprised and disappointed that I got full with just a little bit (´Д` ). Thank you for the meal.

I traveled 1.5 hours from Sapporo to visit a friend in Kurayama Town. We planned to have yakiniku for dinner, but the main restaurant we wanted to go to was closed, so we ended up visiting Ito Section Chief nearby. They are known for their hormone dishes, with a play on words related to stomach and intestines, but it's uncertain if it's true. We ordered a set meal and some individual items, along with beer, and had a great time chatting. The prices were reasonable and the food was decent. It's part of the Tsubohachi chain, which has locations outside of Hokkaido as well, but this one is a Hokkaido-focused yakiniku restaurant. The seating was spacious and comfortable, similar to a family restaurant, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal. Definitely worth a visit when in Kurayama Town.

Welcome.---------- October 2020 ----------Located along the Kurayama Ekimae Street, Tubo Hachi Group |o| °д°)ノGalalalaTable, semi-private rooms, large banquet hallPopular with families and young people, the staff is friendly and always smilingThe drink menu starting from 1680 yen might be a bit pricey for the townThe eternal "Remosawa" (= ´∀´)ノWith garlic in the sauce, adding extra garlic is the way to go"Grill it, grill it!! o(`ω´ )o"Chief Kalbi (start with this one)Beef tendons (recommended for those who like lean meat)Negi salt harami (the flavor of lean meat is the strongest)Beef shoulder loin (plenty of lean meat and lightly sweet fatty meat)Thick-cut beef kalbi (chewy lean meat and lightly sweet fatty meat)Bone salt sauce (plenty of meat with strong saltiness)Pork hormone salt (hormone is best with salt)Pork hormone miso (sweet and salty miso, depends on personal preference)Salt rice ball (best when grilled with meat sauce)Spicy miso ramen (extremely spicy, quite saucy so occasionally eat with salt)Not too expensive overall.

I realized today that it's impossible for me to drink during the day. I started drinking before 2:00 PM and by around 7:00 PM, I had lost consciousness. I have no memory of what happened afterwards. It's really embarrassing to have such worries at my age. The photo is from when I was still conscious. I'm sure the food was delicious. To the senior reviewers who joined me, I am truly sorry. That's my confession. Thank you for the meal.

Mr. Ito, to be honest, things changed around February last year, so it's been over a year since the owner changed and I decided to revisit. Honestly, the previous experience was a bit lacking, so I have some expectations this time. Also, starting the day after tomorrow, I will be on a low-carb diet for three months, so I have planned my meals for today and tomorrow. Normally, I don't eat carbs at night, but for these two days, I will have carbs for both lunch and dinner (I'm being silly). So, for dinner tonight, I had yakiniku, beer, lime sour, and of course, rice. The menu has expanded with items like Genghis Khan that weren't available before. There were only 3 groups of customers when I arrived, but by the time I left, quite a few more had come in, which is great. It's a tough time, but I hope they keep up the good work. Thank you for the meal.

This was my first time visiting. I came with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and two young children. One of the young children fell asleep, so it was essentially four of us. We tried various dishes, all of which were delicious and felt like a good deal for the price. Since we were driving, we couldn't have alcohol with our dinner, which was a bit disappointing for me. The "salt ramen" was particularly good, with light flavors and slightly chewy noodles that everyone enjoyed. I definitely want to come back next time with alcohol. Some of the other meat dishes had flavors we liked, while others were just okay. Overall, we enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

I am a lonely resident of Sapporo. My appearance is similar to Imoseyama Onna Teikoku (a character from a Japanese TV show), but sadly, I am a woman. I always hesitate to go for yakiniku alone at night. I don't mind going to yakiniku buffets for lunch or drinking at night or having ramen alone, but I just can't go to a yakiniku restaurant alone. If only I were a man (laughs). But I really want to eat yakiniku. Meat is my number one favorite. So, I take the subway and bus to head to Kurayama. There, I enjoy eating meat to my heart's content with friends or family. Kurayama has quite a few yakiniku restaurants. This is a relatively new one. I went there for the first time. First, they served a generous portion of rice. The meat was quite thickly sliced. The price was reasonable, and I was satisfied with the thick cuts of meat. It was delicious because it was grilled over charcoal. I thought to myself that I should make some yakiniku friends in Sapporo (laughs). Kurayama has many delicious restaurants. I really want to go back. But I have to endure because of work.

Kuriyama is my hometown, so I visit about 6 times a year and often go out for meals with my high school classmates. During one of these visits, we found a stylish yakiniku restaurant called Ito Department Manager. The locals say it's "expensive," but as someone living in Nagoya, I find it to be average. The taste is not bad. However, if they could increase their selection of wine and sake, I would give it a 4.0 rating.
